I haven't bought a cook book in 10 years.

None of their recipes seem fancy or original. I even looked up that cinnamon gummy bear popcorn recipe and it all came up with common Mormon recipe cook books. I can take 5 minutes and Google recipes and hit print and make me a cookbook of recipes I want for free anytime or pull them up on my tablet or phone while in the kitchen. They are getting to be obsolete.

I sound terrible for saying this but I'm not a fan of the latest giant pink painting that Ellie got. I feel like the artist was totally phoning that one in. The artist has many better works of art on her website (like the impressionistic flowers). The size of brush work and color blocking just looks way too small and uniform for a painting of that size. Hope Ellie likes it. It makes me think she totally runs that household. I can only imagine the look my spouse would give me if I told him it was going to order a massive five foot canvas that was predominately pink (cough- blush, rose, mauve etc). Secretly I think she was hoping she could use it in the nursery but since its a boy its probably headed for the basement or the grandma room? I was looking at pictures of Ellie from a few years ago and recent pics and its absolutely mind boggling how different she looks.

I know!! She had changed so so much it is crazy.
It is also mind boggling how many vlogs they have managed to make with a title for the new baby. They don’t do anything that isn’t over the top!

The cookbook is such a dumb idea. Do people still buy cookbooks these days? I mean with Google, you can get a recipe for just about anything. Maybe I'm totally wrong but I just feel like cookbooks aren't worth purchasing anymore.

When I’m looking for a recipe, Google + Pinterest are my go to’s. I’ve never thought to pick up a cookbook lol

I made a cook book for my cooking loving daughter for her birthday from recipes that the women in our family love. She loved it and I know means so much to her. I could see if they wanted to do something similar and maybe offer it to make a little side money but their expectations in this thing is way way too high!! The majority of their viewers seem like young kids/preteens. Like I said my daughter loves cooking but I am sure thats not a huge interest for others in this age group. I feel like a horrible person but I'm totally going to enjoy watching this flop.

I buy my mother the newest Pioneer Woman cookbook for xmas every year, but other than that? I think i have one cookbook in my whole house and its more of a diet plan book with recipes than an actual cookbook. I do use it though, even though i have most of the foods i make from it memorized.

I'm with everyone else who thinks this cookbook is all about feeding into Jennifer's ego. It has to be done at HER HOUSE remember?? That woman is terrifying,

Looks like the demonetization on You Tube will save Calvin from being videoed and us having to watch the poor kids while pooping!! Plus I guess the one part was it was kind of blurry was Calvin just in his diaper.

Nobody buys cookbooks for the recipes anymore. The only cookbooks I buy are really nice ones to display in my kitchen from food blogs I use over and over again. I wouldn't buy their dumb cookbook for a penny.

The last couple of days has been potty training stuff-boring! All the carrying on too, wipes etc, just seem a little over the top.

If he was so scared of tearing something up, take it to someone that knows how to do it.

It's so weird how if Ellie is decorating something in her house, she goes all out and buys the most expensive top of the line stuff, yet when talking about the baby's room she's like "Well, this is the furniture we have" -- a crib and oversized leather chair from their old apartment. I mean, they are fine, she's right, it's just that her priorities are so weird to me. As obsessed as she is with being pregnant, you'd think decorating a new nursery would come along with that.
