I will say that gross habit is an example why it's a good idea to live together first or at least sleep together first. Do you think if they were dating and Ellie blew her nose in his sheets, that Jared would still date her? I hope not.

I think Ellie probably had all kinds of weird quirks that ran off the guys before Jared. She has admitted to dating A LOT, but somehow never really had a steady boyfriend despite desperately wanting one. It's funny it took a long distance relationship with Jared to finally land that proposal.

She literally said "we haven't talked about this yet" since she cut it like it was some big thing that viewers were anxiously waiting to be updated on. Newsflash Ellie, no one cares. She probably only did it for more ass pats from Jared and viewers....they more she mixes it up, the more chances there are for people to tell her how beautiful she is. If she's so in to beauty stuff like she claims, take that over to her personal channel! I am tired of big chunks of the vlogs being wasted on her personal vanity when we could be enjoying clips of the boys or something remotely interesting instead. I just do not understand why they think this new route of more Ellie, less kids is doing anything good for their channel. It's like they are intentionally driving it in to the ground. I know the theory is that Ellie runs the show and demands all the attention but doesn't she have to know that that attitude is going to get her fabulous ritzy lifestyle that allows her to act like this taken away?? It doesn't make any sense to me.

I just don't understand at all how she can't even acknowledge that YT is the reason they were able to build the Ice Palace at the age of like 25. Does she not realize that EVERY 25 year old ever has the "plan" of someday building or buying a large comfortable home for their family? How exactly did they plan to do that on the salary of a hairdresser and a Verizon salesman? Every other YouTuber (or at least the likeable ones) at least acknowledge that the reason they are able to be so successful is because people watch their channel. But snotty Ellie acts like they do this as a favor to their audience, not for the money, and that will be her downfall. When this all goes down the shitter, she'll be posting her multiple Yeti coolers on Facebook Marketplace to pay the mortgage.

I can't imagine devoting all this time to a haircut of a couple of inches. It's not like she chopped it all off into a pixie cut (can you imagine?)

I'm obsessed with pixie cuts, I have one myself, they are so cute. But I would keel over dead if Ellie even cut her hair so that it wasn't touching her shoulders. I would DIE OF SHOCK. She's probably one of those idiot who think women should have long hair.

Ugh. I totally agree with you, and I hate that I'm somewhat defending Ellie yet again, but I probably would be a bit doubtful of my decision to cut my hair too if my husband said, "The longer your hair is, the more I love you." Definitely not necessary to vlog about every single day...but I can somewhat see where her constant need to affirm herself about the decision is coming from.

Sorry to get completely random and OT, but I'm not sure if this has ever been discussed on here. What do you guys think about E+J calling their in laws "mom and dad"? Do you do the same/think it's sweet, or do you think it's weird? Is it a Mormon thing?
