Oh no! That’s exactly how my missed miscarriage was first detected. Took two days (betas) to confirm. Hopefully they are checking her levels. Maybe that's why she's positive about it.gwsb wrote:Oh no! That’s exactly how my missed miscarriage was first detected. Re: C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17
Similar for my second miscarriage as well. I was spotting around 9 weeks, so went to the hospital. Ultrasound showed a wriggly bean with a beating heart, but it was measuring only 7 weeks. 5 weeks later no heart beat was found, and my OB said after my D&C that the embryo must have stopped developing very soon after that first ultrasound.gwsb wrote:Oh no! Having your dates wrong can happen. Unfortunately, I’ve heard all too often that it’s not a good sign.

Re: C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17
I've had it both ways
1st time went in at 7wks showed me only 5wks with not much told to come back in 10 days ( HCG test showed level where rising but not doubling)
ended up with a D&C at 10wks it was the longest 3wks of my life waiting and hoping end up it was a blighted ovum that didn't progress past 5wks)
2nd time went in around 8wks (that what I thought I was but wasn't 100% sure on dates) But nope was only 6wks and 4days
but a good heartbeat was present (130bpm) had further scans at 8wks, 10 and 12wks due to bleeding
but 1 baby was OK and is now 18mths old but I don't know how many times I though it was over until the scan showed her heartbeat each time
I really hope she has similar to me the 2nd time without the bleeding and worry

Re: C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17
It really is! What happens when a kid (or a drunk Cullen) tries going downstairs in the dark and trips and falls head-first down that thing right into the glass door at the bottom??? They are REALLY stupid! Plus, did they really drill it down into their wood stairs? UGH.Baconsgirl wrote:That slide is too dumb for word!

Didn't they already have the starfish in recent vlogs? Is their timeline all jumbled up?
If they screwed that slide into those wood stairs, they really are dumb.

Bennett looked like he got close to hitting the door. That slide is pretty ridiculous. As soon as they realized the inclination of the slide they should have realized it’s a bad idea.

Someday soon one of the kids will go down that slide when they aren’t watching and they will get hurt. Then they can finally use the title “Rushed to the Hospital” and it won’t be clickbait for once.

I like the slide, probably because I had one just like it growing up on even steeper stairs...however, they should've waited a few more years. Gaines isn't even really able to stop herself or catch herself going down so fast. I would've waited maybe 3-4 more years when Gaines is around 6 and Brooks 4. They could still enjoy it then.

But they wouldn't be able to use it for vlog footage then.Defuego wrote:I like the slide, probably because I had one just like it growing up on even steeper stairs...however, they should've waited a few more years. Why is Cullen referring to his niece's birthday party as "date night" on ig?

It was in the vlog. Madelyn and Emily were at their house and they were holding it. I remember vividly because I couldn’t believe they had it out of the water holding it like that. I haven’t watched yesterday’s vlog yet where they got it but they are definitely out of order.sunshine lollipops2 wrote:It was on his instastories a few days agoaskeptichere wrote:Didn't they already have the starfish in recent vlogs? Cullen had one out of the water on his IG story too. I bet they killed the other one and had to buy a new oneMommaLindsey2 wrote:It was in the vlog. Re: C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17
That is probably the correct assumption. I’ll have to watch the new vlog to see if it looks different to the other one. They really should let the tank cycle before they add more living creatures to it...HelloSweetie wrote:Cullen had one out of the water on his IG story too. Here are the screenshots from the “nothing but love” vlog on feb 15th.
Then yesterday 2 days later they just got the starfish.
Cullen did say to Bennett in the car when he was poking at it “don’t mess with it too much I heard they are fragile” then insert clip of crying Patrick from spongebob.

Re: C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17
Jerks. "I heard they are fragile" but hey, let's all handle it and take it out of the water. I would love for a giant hand to pick him up and take him where he can't breathe and let giant children poke at him
And I don't get how a 13 year old's birthday party is a date night or appropriate fodder for Cullen's instastories.

I didn’t like that Cullen was out on the lake with brooks in that leaky boat with no life jacket. Ugh watching it make me a nervous wreck. Brooks dropped the paddle in the lake when Cullen wasn’t watching, he also could have fallen in and drowned in the same amount of time.

I didn't like it either and started to comment my concerns (on the vlog), but am not in the mood to be attacked by their minions who think "they are the greatest parents ever". Common sense goes a long way. Obeying the law does also. I guess some people are above the law.MommaLindsey2 wrote:I didn’t like that Cullen was out on the lake with brooks in that leaky boat with no life jacket. Ugh watching it make me a nervous wreck.
