At this point if I were her I'd take a week to rest and not focus on YouTube, comments or this site. She needs to brainstorm where she wants her channel to go and how she wants to grow it. She also needs to relax and have real fun. If that means not vlogging for a week or not cleaning for a few days, she should do it. A mental vacation is better than a mental breakdown.

If people get upset about her not uploading content for a few days oh well. Everyone has lives to live. She shouldn't address the negative comments anymore unless they are truly egregious or could harm her or her family. If they're petty or slight disagreements, she has to ignore them.

Yeah this is crazy. I do admire her dedication to respond and get back to everyone. Do what the other channels do and hang out in the comments for an hour when the video is posted. But I think it’s a tactic to make her look busy too. It seems she takes up laaaarge chunks of her day “answering comments”. Yes we can see that YouTube is time consuming but I’m sorry it’s not this super difficult high powered job like some of these women make it out to be. Work outside the home and then tell me you have a hard job. I’m wanting to find more youtubers who work outside the home who consider filming exactly what it is, a hobby!

I'm kinda shocked to find that this thread is as active as it is. I subbed to her for about two weeks many months ago. Based on all your comments, it seems her videos haven't improved...maybe even gotten worse. She is so dead boring. I'd rather watch Peppa Pig.

I unsubscribed a long time ago and it seems to be a time such as now to just let her die down. If she wants to pitch a hissy fit when she doesn't like her viewer's comments (the people who are contributing to a pay check!) then she is allowed to do that. It's not very mature or Christian-like but it seems to fit HER standard. So yeah. I won't watch her pick her too-short shorts out of her crotch anymore, or whether she chooses magnetic (for real??) or stick in your eye lashes anymore. I won't even care what curriculum she picks for her kid or how they rearrange rooms in their bland, boring home.

Love all these comments about the rant! First off she started with saying it wasn’t a rant which made it a rant. Lol. I think the one reasonable thing she said is no one needs to tell her how to parent, but she also does not need to attack and rant when someone doesn’t agree with her parenting choice. I mean everyone provides unsolicited advice, it’s how you handle it that makes a difference. Also it’s hard to call it unsolicited advice. How do you expect everything to be sunshine and rainbows when you plaster your entire life on the internet for ANYONE to see?! People all over the world are watching these videos and they are not all going to agree with you. Kids in kindergarten are made to put their toys away. But your baby girl is coddled at home and can relax instead of helping out. Yep! I agree with everything you said. I'm not a huge fan of This Crazy Life's vlogs but at least she shows her kids helping and has a chores list.

I just feel like if you open your world to people you need to be able to take whatever is said and not just wait for the butt kissing. I'm a SAHM and could easily start a channel, but I decided the money isn't worth being critiqued. Shut up and do your job! Take what comes with it. You're getting paid to appear relevant.

I mean he’s no prize himself but it seems like he could have done better than her in his younger days. So many things she said in her rant kinda threw me off. I hope she realizes 80k is A LOT of subscribers. Even if it's not in the 100k+ range yet, that's 80,000 people who took the time to subscribe to her channel. That's almost the size of a small town. If she can see how big that is for her growth as a YouTuber in this niche, she's going to be fine.

And that should help her understand how opinions on her life will be negative & positive. 80,000+ people don't all think the same even if they like watching her channel.

I'm kind of out of ideas, but this may be a good time for her to do a small giveaway for hitting 80k.

August may be a good time to collab with another cleaning channel/homeschool mom or SAHM channel for a back to school video.

It's a good time to pre-film a few videos and whip those out when she needs a break when Savannah starts school again.

And holidays are coming. There are so many cool things she could film that are seasonal related. If she does it the subscribers will come.

She totally lets it be a number game. Afterall, she says at the end of her video that it was a measly ONE PERCENT of actual negative comments that set her off. She literally became satan's tool to tell them all off, too. Ashley, did it ever occur to you that you could've used your quiet, empty house time to get right with God and to read His Word for some encouragement, peaceful and uplifting messages? No, instead you trashed that time to play devil's advocate. You took a solid 10 - 15 minutes (I finally managed to watch the entire video!) to scream and rant at the camera. Went outside to calm down only to record yourself continuing to frown and pout over your phone while sitting outside "getting fresh air".

I don't have any sympathy for people like this. Yeah, it's your channel yeah, you can put whatever crap you want out there and yes, it is totally a competition and not so much a community. I doubt she has friends. Her kid too. You don't take a kid out oif public school and homeschool them if they're popular. You would leave them with thier friends. That is why you never see friends at her home or friends at church. People react to her like she has a disease.

You know it girl!!! You don’t gain subs that fast on these channels that are boring, that don’t ever go anywhere, that have strange re arrange furniture videos. She buys subs but she stays very consistent with views right around 10-15k in over 8 days. That statisticly is off with 80k subs and 300 videos. She would have more views per video if the subs were real people. She should look into buying views since she is all about the numbers and a stupid plaque from YouTube. I digress
