The girls are all naturally thin. I do wonder though, how much is actually genetics and how much is making a point to stay a certain size. We've seen Jennifer praise Ellie for her size, and women in many LDS communities feel pressure to look perfect, which means thin and lean. We know Ruby doesn't eat a lot as well, so it's possible they all have learned some pretty messed up habits in regards to food.

I'll never forget, in the sibling Q&A when Ruby said she sucks her stomach in as far as possible after meals and, "it works." As someone with a history of ED's, it was a very triggering comment, and has ED written all over it. I think (I'm obviously making an educated assumption) that they all have disordered eating habits that they may have picked up from or been encouraged by Jennifer and are deemed as normal, or quirky, at worst.

I think she gets her definition of "tender" from the Christmas carol "Silent Night": the line "round yon virgin, tender and mild". I think she thinks it means sweet. Because she's described her kids as "so tender", when I would have used "sweet", or another word like it. Tender can mean gentle or kind, even motherly, but not the way she uses it. I just think she has a limited vocabulary, and when she's at a loss for words, uses fun if she likes something, and tender if she thinks it's sweet. But still, Missy talking about a scary experience when Ollie wasn't moving inside her like he had been, wasn't either of those things. It must have been terrifying after her losses. So it wasn't fun or tender. I agree with what someone said before, that she really doesn't know how to react to others. If it's not about her, she doesn't know what to say.

There are at least two times in every vlog where I correct Ellie's grammar or sentence structure out loud. Today she said "I've said it again and I'll say it a hundred more times." Good try, Ellie. Not quite.

Also, I rewatched their house tour. What the hell happened with the basement? She was supposed to have a filming room and there were multiple empty bedrooms and we never see any of that!

No, that guy was French. I think his name was David. I _think_.
Here's a comparison for people who don't believe that Ellie is thinner than usual. Her wedding picture, she's thin, yes. But not skeletal. This "I've always been thin, this is normal for me" is BS. Her eyes are sunken, and she has terrible circles under them. She does not look healthy. I don't know what it is. I don't mean to sound like I am picking on her for being thin. But there is something wrong. And she's always saying (except for the one time when she talked about going to the doctor) that "This is how I always look. I am just a thin person". The thing that is striking to me, and makes it clear that she is unwell, is how much her face has aged. She looks like a teenager in the fist picture (because she was), but now she looks like she's 10-15 years older than she actually is. It's quite sad really
