So, what do you think is their “big secret?”

When I post a comment... today I asked a question, but when I comment on either the Greedners or Big-Hams, this Peter Andreanson (sp) replies to me. Today I was asked...... where exactly I live.. Like WTF?!? Freakin me out a little.

Maybe she is pregnant. Aren't there other kids about 2=3 years apart in age?

That guy is weird. He replies to a LOT of comments.

That’s what I was thinking she’s probably having another baby

I can't believe I typed "there" instead of "their". Watching these vlogs is making me dumb.

In the Costco vlog they posted yesterday Mindy once again talked about "not eating healthy" in a way that she's like proud of it or something. I don't care what adults eat, it's their choice. But she has children to think about! I've been watching them lately and the holidays have passed yet the kids are still eating tons of candy and sweets, sugar dyed cereals in the morning.. and Mindy's dinners never contain anything green! In fact rarely is there any green at all in their house. I am sorry that Mindy herself does not like vegetables but that family NEEDS to eat more fruit and vegetables. The last few meals they've shown her making on the vlog was velveeta chicken ("cheesy chicken" aka processed foods chicken), stroganoff which did have ground beef but she used a packet for the sauce and again no vegetables at all at that meal, and then sloppy joes, which was just the tomato sauce, ground beef and white hamburger buns. When I make sloppy joes I use it as a great opportunity to mix in vegetables to the beef and sauce... onion, bell peppers (green and red both) will mix in where they're not even noticeable and I personally love a bit of corn in my sloppy joes too. I genuinely worry about the way those kids eat. So many times she has shown their packed lunches and it's all juice and processed junk food (stuff like fruit snacks, cheetos etc).

I know! I don't understand why she is so proud of herself for eating badly and for feeding the kids so badly. And Branden did that no carb diet, and lost weight, but the minute he stopped, he gained it all back. He's looking downright pudgy now. He's got a serious double chin going.
Mindy says her mom didn't feed her vegetables, and she turned out fine, so it's fine for her to not feed her kids vegetables. She should at least let them try some! Even if she doesn't like them, maybe the kids will.

Most of their audience is adolescent girls who would love it if their parents didn't care how they eat. They boys will be much more successful in sports if they follow a healthy diet.

I think that's one reason the Daily Bumps are so popular. The kids who watch them would love to have goofy parents who stay home, play with them (for the vlogs, anyway) never say no, buy them toys all the time, and don't make them eat vegetables or do chores.
These vloggers are selling a fantasy. And the kids who watch them are getting such a warped idea of how the world works. So many kids now say they want to be YouTubers when they grow up. They have no idea how many people vlog, and how few make it big. Unrealistic expectations.

Even when I was a young parent, I had my oldest when I was 19, I still knew what a rounded out meal was. Most of it did come from a box as I still needed to learn to cook.

But Mindy is the same age as I am. I now cook 98% of the meals from scratch. It does not take too much more time than the box crap. Pintrest is great for finding new recipes.
How do her and Ashley and Ravioli's mom stay so slim if they eat like crap?

I used to love their vlogs but I’m finding them more and more annoying and it’s not even to do with Brandon screaming. It’s constant pitching for free things. And you guys are right, I think the Greedners have rubbed off on them. I cringe when they bring home “fam” mail and she makes them say in unison, “THANK YOU, WE LOOVE YOUU!” So disenguine. It’s now just a habit. So much so that when Brandon returned from Portland with a bunch of gifts for them and was genuinely pumped to show them, I believe they were excited about them, but when Mom prompted them to show gratefulness, they broke into robot mode, “THANK YOU, WE...” and caught themselves. It was weird as hell.
She is constantly just dropping hints about what this one wants for his birthday and when it is and sizes etc. So so sad!!!

That "Thank you, we loooove you!" is so awful! They don't sound grateful or loving. And I have always objected to vloggers accepting gifts from viewers. Most vloggers make more than the people sending them gifts. I know Utah has a relatively low cost of living, but they have a nice house, and Branden works besides doing YouTube. So they're doing fine. They don't need gifts from viewers. Having kids show their Christmas lists was so cringey. I wonder how many of those items they received from viewers. They got a HUGE pile of Christmas presents from viewers. I am not even sure it's just hanging around with the Greedners that's doing it. I think it's the "fame" going to their heads as well. Their comments are filled with people telling them how wonderful they are. And the "fam mail" is the same. "You guys are the best family! We love you so much!" Blah blah blah. And they angled for that scooter and ramp before they were spending so much time with the Greedners. "Ry-guy" (I think) wanted a scooter, and some fan sent it. Then it was "Oh, he's got the scooter, now he needs a ramp so he can learn tricks and be a real stud". And the same fan sent them a ramp! They never should have accepted either. They don't know who that guy is. Or why he likes watching them. And the way they expose the kids, I'm sure there's sick people watching. They're always filming the boys shirtless. But hey-- more views=more money, and then Branden can quit his job and be like Tyson. He's already got the double chin.

I've never seen women so proud of the fact they can't cook. If you can read, you can learn to cook. Can Mousy read? They have turned into Greedners. Begging for gifts, dressing kids alike, etc. She must've called her sons stud 20 times. It's like they are sending the pedophiles a subliminal message. They never tell them they are smart, funny, kind, athletic etc. just studs. Mousy whines that one stud never says 'I love you' back. It doesn't mean anything to him, you force him to 'love' strangers who send gifts. He is probably embarrassed that his mother yells " I love you stud"

Oh I totally agree. With those very expensive gifts for Christmas that we never see them okay with anymore. they do NOT need to be accepting gifts from fans.

On a side note, what is with her constantly calling her boys studs or stud muffins? I find it awkward and creepy.

Itsjusrme wrote:So today’s vlog only 2 went to dance class and the others had to sit in the car. And after they made a big deal about how the ones that didn’t go to dance class couldn’t do anything fun for the day because they didn’t go to dance class. Then cuts to them at the store and indie says she gets to pick out her own treat. What a reward for not going to dance class and so much for the empty threat of not having any fun that day.
For dinner esme was putting her hands in the salad bowl and Ashley said it’s ok because she’s learning. But never explained why not to do that just laughed about it. So I’m not sure how she’s supposed to learn. Also it bothers me how the girls talk about them self in the third person for example. Scarlet was saying “Anna and Elsa came to see you” as I’m referring to herself. And when Ashley asked who was a good girl she said “Scarlet is” instead of I am. I notice it a lot and it bothers me that Tyson and Ashley don’t correct it and tell them to refer them self as me or I. My 20 month old refers to herself as me all day long.

I don't like them.calling the boys "studs" either. People say that it just means "cool", but when her son comes downstairs dressed nicely, and she says "Look at this stud!" I find it creepy. And they do the same with Hazy. They never encourage her by saying how smart she is. It's all about how beautiful she is. When Brexsin got his glasses, Mindy was going on and on about how handsome was going to be. And " oh yeah, he'll be able to see, too". Like it's an afterthought. And I really don't get why they dress the boys like they're triplets. Even if they were triplets, I would have an issue with them having to dress alike. Do they even have a say?
I haven't watched in a few days, because I just can't deal with them. Have they cut down at all on filming the boys shirtless?

Ha, I’ve been tapering my watching too, especially since Branden was inTahiti. Was way too much of him yelling about how gorgeous it was. But seems to be fewer shirtless cameos by the boys, yes!

Yeah, I remember that about the glasses. Nice one Mom. Well as long as the ladies love him, vision is a bonus. Good grief. And honestly, this is a bit of an extreme comparison but she has used the word hottie before but what if the genders were flipped? What if they had three daughters and those ages and Branden kept calling them hotties or referring to their appearance, it would set off alarm bells. So why is it okay for her to? It’s just so damn weird. Makes me cringe.

Oh yes and beautiful, perfect, do nothing wrong Haley.
