Wait, he literally responded “we don’t litter” to a video of him littering????
I just can’t with these two. What a delusional world they live in. What was so hard about popping the balloons and placing them in the garbage where they belong? Oh yeah, they only do whatever is easiest... open the door and toss them out! Aren’t they both always saying how beautiful Utah is? Won’t be that way for long with you two living there.

And then donuts for breakfast.... ughhhh. I guess the doc told them the cure for the flu is sugar, sugar, sugar. Please don’t eat fruits or vegetables or anything that might help your body heal. I pray the babysitters DO have lots of out of town trips coming up. The girls only stand a chance with some “helper” intervention.

I forget sometimes when coming here to read to sign in right away, which leads to seeing a person I do not wish to see their comments. Foe is good.
Which reminds me... Does anyone remember the ConeHead family from SNL years ago? They would always claim 'We're from France' I will try to remember to sign in right away when coming here 8-)

I really like the automatic sign-in feature on this website. Don't have to worry about seeing idiot posts that way. (Love the Coneheads!)

Other parents of young kids, please chime in on this. My grand kids love Doc McStuffins. They have the books, dolls, character figures, they watch the little videos, etc. Seems like a really neat way to teach kids about doctors and I love it gives little girls a good role model of being a professional when they grow up. (As opposed to the only thing girls are good for is putting on make up and birthing a million spirit babies.)

So why do you think we never see good old Doc McStuffins at the Greedners? Because she isn't white and delightful? Whatcha all think? And yes, I purposely posted a topic with a little bit of controversy. I'm sure we can all discuss it like adults. And if y'all hate the McStuffins, please enlighten this old Grandma about it.

I think they are they are using the TV as a babysitter and don't care what the kids watch as long as they are quiet. They do not watch shows or have friends of any other race than white. My little one loved Dora at that age.

I love Doc McStuffins! Unfortunately my boys never really got into it. But my 3 year old loves Super Why! It is so educational and it has girl characters that are smart and teach you how to read. One of the girls is even a princess but you know what her most important quality is? Her super spelling powers! I seriously wonder if those girls know their letters or have any sight words. I'd love to see them correctly point out their names, then again, I guess basic colors wouldbe a better place to start.

Many Christian families don't watch Doc McStuffins. This episode with the doll family. I didn't think anything of it because as a kid usually all the dolls are female. You're lucky if you have one Ken. Until it became apparent that the doll family was intentional. They'd placed a family with same-sex parents into the cartoon. Now it's never pointed out or mentioned so I bet most kids didn't even realize. Yet some Christians and I think 1 million moms or something wanted to boycott Doc McStuffins.

I think it's silly but yeah. Mine can take it or leave it they'd rather watch Miles from Tomorrowland...who's mom in Chinese and the Captain of a starship.

I think these two focus only on the ones they like. They only seemed to bring up Moana because they got to go to Hawai'i for free. Now it seems like they're back to the usual Sleepy Beauty [Tyson thinks she looks like mom], Elsa etc etc. They obviously have a very narrow definition of beauty.

Ashley is of the age she was a kid when Mulan came out but she doesn't mention it or at least I've never heard her. It has amazing songs too. Yet Mulan doesn't get married at 17 so probably not their ideal role model. :P They also don't mention Tiana or hell even the one from Brave.

Similar age to ass. I don’t recall ever watching Mulan growing up, Pocahontas yes, Aladdin, the little mermaid, beauty and the beast. Mulan was 1998, she would have been 10/11 ish, given she met Tyler at 13/14 she possibly would have considered herself to grown up for Disney at that age (speculation)

My 3-year-old granddaughter loves Elena of Avalor and I don't think the Gardner's ever have seen her either.
Of course, she's a Hispanic princess.

I think they don’t have cable. They use Netflix and YouTube to show the girls stuff. So, no doc mcstuffins. That’s my hunch or possible reason.

Those girls would benefit from some Sesame Street,
Super why, Daniel tiger, wallykazaam, umizoomi.

My daughter, a few months before turning two, called her doc McMuffins. That lasted a few months before she started saying the right name.

I know that has nothing to with what you posted, but it brought back a happy memory for me so thanks. :)

Honestly there are so many shows that will help kids learn. I don’t get why they put on YouTube of other kids playing with play dough. Put on Mickey Mouse club house. Super why. Dora. Sesame Street. Etc.

PBS is awesome - Daniel Tiger, Peg+Cat, Word World etc.

We don't have cable so we only watch the new shows in the hospital and have to wait for them to come on Netflix or buy DVDs. I'm surprised they don't have the girls watching Sofia the First but then again there is an episode where a boy wants to do ice dancing instead of hockey so they might disagree with that.

I think no response is the BEST response. No response at all! Ever. And you Sissies know what (who) I am talking about.

For sure. They're close minded racists. They don't even know anyone who isn't white and I guarantee there are non-white people in Utah

Do they still show Word World? It was one of my son's favorites.
