If they really make 300K plus (which I doubt) I wouldn't put it past them to do gender selection for the next baby and conceive it in a test tube. That would make shit easy for Mithy during ttc time, not having to go back to her room after. If they did, I'm not sure if they would keep it a secret and pretend it was an organic pregnancy to avoid the backlash or if they'd vlog it all for that demographic because the controversy would stir up views.

I was thinking about that. If they have the means, then whatever. I personally don't see anything wrong with doing that if you really want a specific gender. I feel like they'd hide it but then again I think they'd milk the hell out of it to stir up views

I set up a Twitter account just so I could tweet them
I sent them multiple outfits for Oliver and some other things
I used to wake up early/go to bed late just so I could watch the vlogs the second they came out. Like, I would be on their channel and constantly refresh and then I used to screenshot if I'd gotten a good view number. So many times I was the first or second viewer.


So embarrassing.

Haha, aww precious. You were the type minion we tease on here haha. I used to love them. I was pregnant srojnd the same time as missy (well for some of it, my daughter was born a few months before Oliver) and I would watch their videos in the middle of the night while I was up feeding her, they kept me awake (I'm in Australia so with the time difference I would watch the vlogs not long after they were uploaded) I think I used to leave nice comments on their videos too.
I think you'll find that most people on this thread started out liking them, If you go back to the early threads there's actually a lot of nice comments about them. But after Oliver was born they changed and not in a good way. I don't even watch their videos at all anymore. The gender reveal was the first video I watched in months and months and haven't watched any since.

i stopped liking them when they still lived with mimi and papa.... infact, i started to go off them not long after they moved out of the garage of the first house.
me too. the last 2 videos of theirs i watched were the gender reveal and the pregnancy test one.

How many kids will they have to get a girl? Also what if they never do?

She's not that great of mom, imo 1 should be her limit. She doesn't seem to care once the baby stage is over.

I can see them having three (personally I think it'll be all boys, but for Bryan's sake I hope she gets her girl).

I think they will have three, four if the third is another boy. They aren't going to consider such trivial things as making sure they have enough financial/emotional resources for each child, so having another is NBD. However, I don't think they will have more than four because then it will be harder for them to leave the kids at Missy's parents' house whenever they feel like it. Once you get to five kids that's quite a big family and I can't see Missy being a "motherhood is my life's calling" type like Colette.

Too soon to tell, but I think they might also take a break after #3 and have a fourth in a few years. They're young enough that if they wanted to they could have another kid in 10 years.

I was a minion but then after Ollie was born and they changed I stopped watching. My picture is featured at the end of the first Mother's Day vlog.

I think they changed once they moved out. With a new fancy house, no responsibility, and a ton of free time it just got to their heads and they forgot how to be humble. That's when I was turned off them, also I noticed the lack of discipline with Ollie and was really annoyed by it

I started watching when they were maybe 4 months pregnant with Ollie, shortly after getting pregnant with my daughter. I went back and binge watched all the previous vlogs and generally liked them and thought they were hard working and interesting. But I never subscribed because Missy in particular always irritated me.

It bothered me that she didn't try to figure out what was causing her miscarriages before trying again (I had to work hard to figure out a hormonal imbalance was causing mine and she seemed so nonchalant about her septim/bicornuate uterus). I thought it was irresponsible, especially considering the fact they are so young so they do have time to go to doctors and figure out what is going on without just trying over and over again despite losses.

Then when she went into labor at I think at 25 weeks, she made a huge deal about going to the ER and stopping labor...but I thought if Ollie had half the space in utero, similar to a pregnancy with twins, she and the doctors/midwife should have expected him a little early (which when I did cursory research on her condition, seemed to be widely held fact).

Unfortunately, it appeared to me, that since they were moving the next week it was inconvenient to have him at that time. Then claiming over and over that Missy "saved" Ollie's life a couple of weeks later...I just couldn't help thinking that he wouldn't have gone into distress because he ran out of room if she hadn't been so controlling when she went into labor the first time. They aren't doctors! I stopped watching for a little while because I was busy with my own newborn, then started watching again to 1) be nosy and 2) see what to expect be watching Ollie develop.

The gift thing and ungratefulness that began to show after Ollie was born really grated on my nerves. But in the end the sheer exploitation of their kid without much regard to his wellbeing drove me to this site and made me stop watching. I think it is sad...

I think everyone has certain aspects of their personality that they hide around new people until they are comfortable. As their subscriber count went up, so did their egos and they began to feel more comfortable and in control and the aspects of them and their relationship they so badly wanted to hide are basically all we see now.

No doubt in my mind that if their relationship and personalities were the same just minus YouTube, they'd be divorced again.

reminds me of a girl I used to be friends with she went into labour at 34 wks we were having a small braai and she was having contractions we told her to keep watch time them etc she just brushed it off, the next day her bf called us panicked because he was timing the contractions and she was refusing to go to the hospital even though they were steady at 7 minutes apart... almost a week later she went in for her appointment only because she had to have her maternity forms signed off and the next thing they rushed her in for an emergency caeser because she had severe pre eclampsia- her son almost didn't survive, a week later she was joking about it and how she saved his life because she knew something was up she left out the part that she was actually in labour for almost a week but ignored it and because she didn't progress but the baby was ready her placenta started dying- her doctor said a few more hours her son would have been dead and she milked his birth like a hero even down played his gestational age saying she was not as far along but her son was a miracle because he could breathe on his own etc with no issues and essentially blamed her doctor for not explaining things properly, hello she had 2 moms telling her to get her ass to a doctor and she point blank refused- we were so angry, incidentally when she went for her gender u/s she also wanted a girl, I went with her for the u/s and when the doctor said can you see, I said ah congratulations hun its a boy she literally burst into tears and threw a full on tantrum all the way home and then screamed at the shop assistant when they didn't want to exchange the stuff she had already washed... she was 14 weeks I think

I cannot believe some girls are still saying it may be a girl... today's u/s machines are worlds away from what they used to be, also she has had more than one confirmation and you could see the parts from a mile off that was definitely not enlarged girls parts, they also showed the baby in 3d which is even clearer... sorry princess its another boy grr makes me so angry after 5 losses all girls I am so grateful for my 3 sons and if I had been given more children I would have gladly taken another son because after a loss and even before a baby is a baby and a blessing.

Also it looked like she was crying in yesterdays vlog and the day before

Lol I wasn't too obsessed with them, but when I was a minion I couldn't go a day with out watching a vlog. I used to defend them in the comment sections. Now people are defending them from me LOL the irony...

Never been a minion. :p I only new about them from being a Tina follower and all the crap with Missy copying her intro. And then from then on I new they were iffy people. I finally after Oliver was born- he was a few weeks decided to watch their vlogs to see what was all the fuss. Now I watch purely to see all the stupid shit they do. ha!

I was a minion. Not a hard core one, but I used to watch their videos every and sometimes comment. I realized they were shit after a while. They got everything handed to them, and they started to be ungrateful.
