The thing about Ellie and Jared, Katie and Cullen being friends with Missy is that they are obviously either blind, or they are just like Missy. I would not want Missy as a friend. Although, I might be-friend her considering how Ollie is treated and I'd try to help Ollie. If I was really good friends with her, I'd offer to babysit (not to help her, she doesn't need help) but I'd babysit so that Ollie would get a sense of health, outdoors, and interactive learning and play time.
So, maybe Ellie and Jared see how they are as parents, and are friends with them in the hopes of helping them become better, and in the hopes of helping Oliver. That, or they are blind, and/or are just like them.

But from what I see from Ellie and Jared, they are good and genuine people and great parents to Jackson and Calvin and very clearly LOVE their boys. They love their sons fiercly and it's very obvious. It's refreshing to see.

She was so nice! I kind of assumed she would say she would take it as a compliment. I wonder IF there is even anything she COULD do. But yay for letting her know!!!

I think that the only reason why C&K and E&J are friends with them is because Bryan is nice to them and mostly because they have so many viewers.

I'm a little late in the uptake with Ollie's room... But I actually don't really like it. It's kind of boring for a toddler room. It might be cute for a kid who is actually allowed to go outside... But Ollie is never seen in the wild! Lol

I hate, HATE that thing on the door, it's culturally insensitive IMO, I hate the books being so high... That room is not for a two year old who still loves buzz and woody. Now I'm not saying he needs to have a Disney themed room... But at least make it a toddler room, not a room for a 17yo Eagle Scout!! And I call bull shit about the adventure theme... The only adventure that poor little boy experiences is going to Target to buy a new movie.

I'm not a dog person and even I noticed how frustrated Karma was with Ollie. That kid is going to get bit one day.

You know what theme is still perfectly appropriate for a small boy, and really could last for years before he outgrows it?

The original nautical theme.

The ONLY things that NEED to change as a child grows up are things like replacing a crib with a bed, removing the change table, and maybe adding a side table. That's it. A new theme, new dresser, all new decor, that's all just extra.

Double post but I did get "sponsorship" vibes from that room tour. I know it was mentioned in the spending thread, and while I don't necessarily think they were sponsored or sent furniture etc, the vibes were there.

If they are sponsored, the bottom of the video would have a "Note: This is a sponsored video" in the description and it didn't because I thought that same thing. But, because they kept zooming in on all the brand names of what they have, I feel like because it wasn't sponsored, that they want one of those companies to sponsor them and send them free things.

I think E+J and C+K are friends with Bryan and Missy in the same way that you have to be "friends" with your coworkers. It's all about their career. And no, I don't think the video was sponsored... Bryan did a shout out to the furniture company on twitter but then deleted it. Interesting.

Just going to throw this out there, I really don't think there was a need for Bryan to say he got the idea from the blog that was posted, I'll explain why.

I am not sure if you guys have a Hobby Lobby where you're from? I would say 80% of the decor was from Hobby Lobby. At Hobby Lobby, all that decor is in the same section by theme. It really isn't anyone's original idea besides Hobby Lobby. It certainly was not an original idea from the blog that was posted. People who decorate with that decor are bound to copy each other, there really is only so many ways to hang a picture/moose head.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the point you're trying to make, but since all that stuff came from hobby lobby, there really is no way to be too original. I was just at hobby lobby last weekend and saw all that decor. It was 40% off (like most hobby lobby decor) plus you can get mobile coupons to get an additional 40% off on some items.

Missy, way to let the claws come out! She wishes she was Regina George.... When really she's more like Gretchen Weiners (no girls for you, bye!). Most of it was from Hobby Lobby, but a couple of very specific things weren't and were also in that blog post.
