I didn't like it either and started to comment my concerns (on the vlog), but am not in the mood to be attacked by their minions who think "they are the greatest parents ever". Common sense goes a long way. Obeying the law does also. I guess some people are above the law.
Seriously! I’m waiting for the day they get caught by the cops for any of the many things they do where they don’t think the law applies.
-Trespassing on the golf course
-Using a boat without life vests for kids
-Driving and vlogging (which I don’t know if Alabama has strict hands-free laws like where I live)
-Driving a golf cart on public streets with open containers of alcohol

I am definitely looking forward to the day when someone makes a formal complaint about them running around on the golf course. I can't imagine how annoying it would be to pay for a membership, make an appointment for a tee time, and be playing a round of golf, and come across Cullen acting out and the dogs running around. And I don't even play golf!
On another note, I was at work and saw two Suburbans. I had no idea just how _huge_ they are! There is no reason they needed a car _that_ big. They have two kids and small dogs. Even with their trips to the beach, they did not need a car that big. I feel even less sorry for them than I did before. Such waste.
Are there any vloggers who care about the environment at all? Or is it all just waste and excess?

Yep, most YTers I follow seem to have zero concern for the environment. Huge SUVs, use paper plates for every meal, giant weekly hauls of junk that won't last a year.

I don’t know why I thought this, but I thought they had at least 1M subscribers and had way more than 30k views on every vlog!

I’m surprised they are able to have all the luxuries they have with as little subscribers/views. I wonder if they do anything on the side?

I don’t even think that they should have posted the party until Jay and Kelley did.

So they go from oh so somber "We're going to the funeral" to Madelyn's party. Cullen really cracks himself up, doesn't he? I can't handle his cackling in his instastories and the vlog.
I really hope that all the other parents, and the parents of the other girl whose party it was, were ok with their kids being filmed for the vlog.
I just don't think these are so much their stories to share. And it seems kinda rude to post it before Kelly posted her vlog. I suppose the funeral was, to some extent. Because they did know her. But Madelyn's party that was also another girl's party, that adults weren't supposed to be at, (they specifically said no adults were invited, and they were only there to "man the photo booth")? They shouldn't have been filming instastories, or vlogging it.

Here goes Katie talking about how she needs to research and use her psychologist background to understand grief.

“I’ve always worried about car accidents.” OBVIOUSLY NOT! We’ve seen you vlogging and driving for the past 6 years!!

Was Cullen drunk at the end? I’m watching it now and Cullen seems completely out of it.

They were at the country club. They made _sure_ to mention that. Of course. What's the point of living on a golf course if you don't mention it when you're at a party at the country club? I noticed they did that at one of the Halloween parties too. "We're at the country club" Anyway, he could have popped into the bar from a few. The way he was cackling, I wouldn't be surprised. And "cackling" is about the only way I can describe it. He was cracking himself up.

It’s so cringeworthy when he goes out to dance. They shouldn’t have vlogged the party. It’s weird. It wasn’t just Madelyn’s party. I think Cullen under the influence of something at the party and after. Did he really need to include the boob joke?

As long as Maddie and her friend were ok with it, i don't see anything wrong with them filming the party...

I would agree, if Maddox and her friend were the only children there.

There were a lot of kids at the party. Cullen didn’t need to vlog it, and could have respected their privacy.

Ehh... as long as the other parents/kids were ok with it, i honestly don't see the issue. It didn't look like they were filmed in an intrusive way. If Cullen had been all up in the kids faces with the camera then i would feel different. Maddie's friends know her family vlogs, i assume they all knew it would be filmed either way. Kelly had cameras set up for her vlog also. As long as it was consensual, i'm fine with it.

I’m sorry, I just disagree. I think a kids private party is just a kids private party. It doesn’t need to be shared. It’s one thing for Kelley and Jay to do it, but it’s weird for an uncle. I would feel the same way if Bryan and Missy were filming Payton’s birthday with her friends, or if Bonnie and Joel filmed a party Shari had. It just wasn’t necessary.

I don’t even post pictures of my son’s friends on FB without permission because it just doesn’t seem right.

Plus kids can be mean and I would have for a child to be bullied based on something someone saw in footage of the party when they maybe didn’t realize they were being filmed.

I don’t have a problem with it either.
I do think they should have waited to share their video until Kelly had a chance to share her own but maybe they asked. Who knows.

I just wonder if they really got permission from all the parents. It is one thing for the kids to be ok with it. But they can't legally consent. And at a party at a country club, there is a "reasonable expectation of privacy". I would be pissed if someone was filming my kids to put in their vlog when they were just having fun at a party. And I agree that it wasn't necessary for C&K to film it. She's not their daughter. And his behavior was pretty cringey. I would have been mortified if my uncle was acting that way at my 13th birthday party.

And they posted an instastory of Gaines literally climbing the walls in the sun porch at 7:48 am, and are wondering why she has "so much energy" when she went to bed at 10:30. First of all, why are they filming her climbing the walls instead of stopping her? And 10:30 is too late for a 3 year old to be up. And I hate to break it to them, but 8 am, or very close to it, is not that early to be up. I get up at 4 am for my job. 8 am is sleeping in, big time.

There is no way all those kids’ parents knew that their children will be on a vlog that ~25,000 strangers will be watching. No way. And even if they did know, I doubt C&K or K&J asked permission to film them beforehand.

And that's my point. Yeah, I'm sure the kids were ok with it. But I really doubt they asked all the parents ahead of time. And that's just not right. It wasn't just Maddy's party.

They could have added something in the invite, i mean Jay is a lawyer, surely they know the can of worms they would be opening if they filmed and uploaded 25+ kids without parental knowledge. I wouldnt be surprised if there was something on the invite about being present was consent to film. That's how i would go about it if i were them, and i planned on vlogging the party. Just like every concert or sporting event you go to, buying a ticket and showing up is consent to be filmed.
