And all that freaking out over the power going out, it's like she thought it was the beginning of the apocalypse. She does know that phones have a flashlight function... right?

My issue with this is, acting like the world is ending over the something like an outage that’s seemingly not going to take more than a few hours at most to fix, it’s basically her showing her kids that in inconveniencing situations the way to behave is to panic and overreact instead of being smart and teaching them how to actually deal with it calmly and safely. I don’t know how long the power was out for, but if there was that type of a reaction to the point of including news clips etc for something like that - fully knowing that they have a safe space to stay warm and fed and that everyone accounted for is completely fine - then I’d really hate to hear how they need to get through an actual crisis. Any loving parents job in that moment is to comfort their kid and even maybe explain why they’ll be fine and what’s going on, not reach for the camera and film the entire thing and everyone’s reactions to then post online. A few years back there was a MAJOR outage affecting millions of people where I live that lasted over a week in the dead of winter, so no heat or hot water when it was -20°C before wind chill. Not trying to make it into a “this was way worse!”, trying to just think how the hell she’d ever actually help her family when they’re desperately in need in a situation like that and not just slam her foot on the gas and go to 100 so to speak. Really seems like she’s more concerned with the content she gets out of any situation than actually helping her family through anything.

Seems like the kids were already asleep on this occasion but this is so true in general about her, everything gets blown way out of proportion. No wonder the kids always overreact to everything, screaming at the top of their lungs all the time. It's what they're taught to do. At this rate none of them are going to have any ability to efficiently deal with the problems that life will inevitably throw at them. Everything will be an "OMGGG" moment.

Ah okay i didn’t know they were asleep during it, I honestly couldn’t be bothered to actually fully watch the vlog I just saw a short clip and it was more than I could handle. Regardless if they’re awake or asleep, her job as their mom is to make sure they’re safe and calm and acting the way she blatantly does shows how little awareness she has. I don’t see how being so extra all the time helps any situation whether its already stressful or not, it’s just an added unneeded layer for others around her to deal with. I saw someone mentioned Chris seeming annoyed when she asked if she was being over the top, I don’t blame him one bit. I sure do hope they’ll mellow out as they grow, but honestly with that type of example growing up I would not be surprised if the kids have a hard time when they’re older with handling issues that come their way. Especially without immediately calling mom to help every problem, like Jesss seems to with everything that ever happens.

THIS is the reason I joined YTMD. She makes money off of their most private moments and only afterwards can they say no, after a bunch of creeps looked at the videos and some others have downloaded it. I remember there was an account that started publishing her old content as theirs. They must have downloaded every single one of her videos and used it as theirs. That's creepy as hell. So no, once it's out there, it's out there, the internet doesn't forget. She learned that the hard way, when people looked into her old accounts, where she talks about trying to conceive with Gabe.

She knows exactly why she posted it. She needs money rolling in, going by how much she spends. She still knows, that creeps watch her content and since she thinks that's not an issue as long as there is no one actively threatening her children, she posts this for cheap views. I purposefully didn't watch that video, because I knew her intentions behind it and I think it's beyond disgusting. I've been giving her very little views in general lately, I think her content becomes more and more pedo-ish as her kids get older and I don't want to be a part of that.

But I was going to say Jesss somewhat recently was talking about her grammie supporting her vlogging and she was saying how she got recorded and such as kid and how it was nice to look back on. LISTEN I also have videos of little me on Christmas and birthdays and such which are nice to look back on but the HUGE difference was it was 1) special occasions only it wasn’t my parents recording me daily every embarrassing thing every high and low because I guarantee I would have hated that! It was only very special events and very occasionally other times but that was rare and 2) (THE BIG THING) those videos were private for myself and close family to see. Those videos aren’t being used for my parents to make money off of me. They are used for personal use. If I did want to share them (which I have a couple times) I have the choice as a now grown adult of what clips I want to show of little me. I’m surprised ANYONE in jesss family can support that. Maybe they don’t know how the internet works fully??? That things on the internet live forever?? That these moments could haunt their kids into their 20s, 30s and beyond causing them trouble with a job or with relationships WHO KNOWS! It’s disgusting and at least one of her kids will resent her for it.

I don't get the home videos most have being compared to putting it on the internet and living off your children either. Most home videos are like you said special occasions or certain events, not grabbing the camera when your kid is potty training or talking about personal things (custody, cheating, where you were conceived and puberty). My dad didn't take a video camera bra shopping or to talk about my period. How does Jess not see the difference? With my oldest the hospital asked if I wanted the birth recorded, I was so confused lol. Now people choose hopsitals/doctors on if they will be allowed to record. Or try to hide the camera.

Oh yeah, I watched that one the other day too. I binge-watched some of his videos the other day LOL. I feel super bad for all of them because they've been used to permanently attract p*dos to earn more money for who? Their mother, who puts away SOME of the money for them. I liked what he said by "money isn't everything". Providing a good childhood full of love is much more important to me than giving my kids a trust fund. Different values I guess.

EXACTLY. I also have those videos of myself, but it's not like my family made a YouTube channel and profited off of the holidays... they were recorded so WE could look back on them, not hundreds of thousands of strangers from around the world, open for critique and feedback.

Being an adult and looking back on those videos of holidays will conjure a totally different feeling in vlogger children. Not nostalgia, but probably disgust since your parents couldn't even enjoy a holiday without monetizing off of you.

It felt really stupid whenever Jess said "I started by documenting this pregnancy for myself, not knowing so many people would be interested!!!!". If you document something for YOURSELF, you don't post it onto a public videomaking website, regardless of how small a community YouTube used to be lmao.

I really really hope Jessica doesn't make a video about Lilia's first period , she's already exposed her too much. I am so, so glad the video of her dancing around in crop-tops was taken off. The thumbnail was literally Lilia in a revealing outfit with a check versus Lilia in a less revealing outfit with an x. How disgusting. She is in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
