Plus, with Oscar being from Guadalajara he most likely has more Spanish ancestry than someone from Oaxaca. Most Mexicans I know that come from Guadalajara are pretty white looking like Oscar. So, it would not surprise me at all if he had the red head gene.

Not once did I mention the names Aalia/Aaliyah so I'm unsure where you're getting that from. All I said is that my friend's sister is named Alaya (they're Arab Muslims) and they pronounce it just like Kyra did in the video. Regardless, I think it's a pretty name. Maybe you just hadn't heard it before? It doesn't seem common but oh well, it doesn't matter. Hardly like OK chose that name because of what language/culture it's from.

Maybe you didn't understand when I said Alia/Aaliyah/possibly Alaya are all transliterations of one name in Arabic. Maybe I haven't heard of it? Lmao I think I know my own language and culture better than you.

So... Still no full picture of Alaya? Damn they sure are milking this even more than Keren did. I'm betting the birth vlog won't be up until Saturday night at the very earliest. I'm sure they just want it to look "perfect" and Oscar is working so hard on it, 16 hours per day. I could just imagine the flashbacks in the vlog of Oscar surprising Kyra with the pregnancy test and them finding out the gender

I would understand too if they had announced it like "hey guys we won't be posting vlogs for a few days since we just had a baby" instead of tweeting about how oscar has been editing video/vlogs (birth vlog possibly?) all day yesterday and today like Khoa had the birth vlog up in a day and ik newborns are hard but they're hyping their fans up just to let them down

Totally agree, they should have never said they would be posting vlogs during the process. Its a stupid promise that ablot of youtubers make (&usually fail at) Khoa was def on top of that.

i don't have kids so i don't know and i might be completely ignorant for saying this but literally all newborns do is sleep and the baby is all kyra's responsibility oscar can't really do anything besides change her. so they can easily get the vlog up. i get they probably wanna soak it all in and just stare at her but they're not going to stare 24/7 he can edit it. but i get it's a birth vlog he'll want to make it perfect so they have that memory i just hope it doesn't take him ages like every other vlog.

i don't know the full story but what i collected from the video he posted yesterday maker/disney dropped him bc wall street journal was calling him racist and he's a nazi or something bc he was saying all these anti-semitic jokes. some say it's very questionable bc of the whole shay thing and him being a co founder of maker and pewds is just getting the heat bc he has such a following.

Kyra just has a major surgery. She will need help getting out of bed, lifting the baby, going to the bathroom, showering, it will be uncomfortable for her to bend and change diapers or do basically anything. So yes, she will need lots of help!

When you have kids you'll understand. Those nurses are in and out if that room 50 times in the night. Between that and the baby getting up you get zero sleep while in the hospital. She mentioned on twitter that she needed chapstick but Oscar was asleep and she didnt want to wake him. Im sure theyre all just resting up and enjoying their new baby.

I think it's a cute name and goes with Levi. The part that bothered me is that they obviously didn't intend on the video to be posted until she was born and they lied to viewers and made it seem like they had a video ready etc..
