I saw this posted!! I didn’t think about it at first. Love how she puts can’t afford luxuries lol. But she can buy $300+ carseats and spend $100+ on formula that her son should be weaned off of!! And other stupid crap! Hahahah makes me laugh. If u exercise and eat healthy the weight will come off, but u know what won’t all the extra skin she has. At some point the weight will stay the same because of the skin, but she should be able to get to 140 before it platues.

Literally nobody in northern BC bats an eye at blond Natives, especially kids. I present whiter than her kids and around here it is a complete nonissue. Blood quantum was never a thing here. She needs to stop scouring the Internet for other people's controversy.

No. 'Native' or 'First Nations' is an umbrella term for Canadian Indigenous Peoples. The only Native Americans here are those who hold dual citizenship.

What brand they are? Seriously?? There's so much wrong with this. The fathers either know what they are (awesome!) or they don't (thanks residential schools!). Not knowing if their ancestors were Dene or Cree doesn't magically make them white.

That is incorrect. We are all Native Americans. It is the umbrella term but outdated. The umbrella term is Aboriginal or Indigenous now.

My band is part of First Nations, there is 6 bands under that term.

By brand I meant band. Because every band has their own traditions and such.

And that's not how Status works anymore. Just because the parent is Status, doesn't mean the kid is status.
In my case, I am half native. Therefore unless I have kids with another native, either half or full, my kids will not be status.
Because I am half, if I mhave a kid with someone non status, my kid will not have Status.

Here is how it works.

6(1) is the grandparents, so Raine and Lily's dad's dad.

I know Raine's better.

So Raine's grandpa 6(1) is Status, married non status, which makes Raine's dad a 6(2). Since Allyshia is non status, Raine is not status.

That is how I was told it works by INAC as well as that is what is on their site.
So we have different information.

I do understand the Raine and Lily are part. And they have the right to that heritage and culture.
I was just getting at the fact that Ally probably doesn't know what band or anything that they are from. And the culture and such varies so much.

If the dads are from PG there's like a 90% chance they're either Carrier(Dene) or Metis.
It would make sense for her to find out about Alex but since the other guy is in the picture introducing the girl to his culture or whatever is kind of none of her business.

I can see her trying to claim she's native on her university application.
And also trying to get grants/bursaries as well claiming native.

But she probably doesn't realize that if she does get it and tried to use native to get school funding, that she has to prove grades are good. And that if she fails a class or drops out, you have to pay the funding back.

I don’t get this. Why is she suddenly trying to claim native ancestry? If she isn’t status and tries to claim to be for school, is she not obligated to prove it some how? Given that there are some amazing programs offered to natives to get them into training and the workforce, I would think they would have steps in place to avoid fraud. If she is doing this as some type of virtue signalling for her kids - I would think their father would be the one to take that role as the native ancestry comes from their part of the family.

Hey allyshia, maybe you should have a garage sale to make back some of that money you wasted shopping online. I’m sure your lace front wigs and massive collection of lies and broken dreams would resale for a decent amount. Maybe they you can take that money and upgrade your own foodsafe certificate and stop making such lame excuses as to why you can’t get a job! It’s not that you are unskilled and therefore unemployable, it’s that you are lazy and not applying for things appropriate to your level of work experience. Cashiers don’t have certificates of cashiering, servers and cooks don’t either (in fact lots of cooks have criminal records - meaning they have a much shittier time getting a job than you. Go apply for a minimum wage job and work your way up. It can take less than a year to go from cashier to cook to supervisor in most fast food chains and that’s just by showing up on time consistently like you are supposed to do!!!!!)
