So well probably start seeing a lot more child development content on their channel. Which will be great for the boys and the kids watching. Boring for adult viewers, but at least their kids will benefit.

In theory. But Dr. Missy (or, as she phrased it on Jimmy’s grad card: Dr. Missy, PhD) tends to make up her own developmental timeline for the boys....and we can count on one hand the times they’ve managed to select developmentally-appropriate toys, shows, and movies. Heck, they can’t even dress the boys in the correct clothing size! Anything they say about child development or education goes in one in one of my ears and out the other.

I believe we have seen part of the bedtime footage before. Missy was talking about the creepy eye glowing owl again. She said they just got it the other day. I thought they have had it a few weeks. Then she starting talking about the board Papa put on the bed as if he had just done that that day. It has been there a week or 2 at least.
They must think all of their viewers are dumb or little kids.

I don’t see why it matters. They were honest about it and pre recorded videos means more sponsorships... those videos are submitted in advance and then approved and then uploaded so I could see why they’re going in this direction. They’ll be doing a lot more ads in the near future just watch ... or actually don’t watch because this channel is about to get old quick LOL

Pre-recorded is one thing. This is straight up sloppy. The contents were from awhile ago, not just a few days ago.

Missy is a LAZY mom. She’s also an unprepared and uneducated mom. She was never prepared or prepared herself for the reality that kids don’t come into the world knowing what they need to know - it takes work, effort, time, teaching, patience. And I’m not referring to formal education here (although I do believe this plays into their parenting dynamic) - mothers without formal education can and are wonderful parents - but she did not take the time to educate herself on HOW to parent...to learn from others and solidify some sort of starting philosophy about how she wanted to raise her children. She just jumped right in because babies are cute and she has to have what she wants NOW.

I absolutely think she loves her kids, and she is clearly not out to hurt them intentionally. She meets their basic needs (even if it’s not how we might do it...say, with frozen nuggets and waffles!) and often goes beyond that, and I do think her heart is in the right place in wanting to give them a life she didn’t have. It’s just that she doesn’t see the harm it’s doing, and won’t listen to anyone who sees it differently than her. Those kids could definitely do worse - she’s not a monster. She’s just not a great mom due to laziness and lack of preparation.

As for the warehousey thing...I’m voting for giant merch store expansion or clothing line (a la Slyfox Threads or Trixin or Rags to Raches). Another thing to speculate on...yes!!! They think they’re so exclusive with their top thecret announcements and hints, but really it just gives us a chance to let our imaginations run wild and/or super sleuth the dirt before they announce.

ooooooh true!! It does look like they’re taking all their cuts and putting them in new vlogs. As a youtuber, I find that disgusting. It’s basically using your trash as content LOL.

Plus, they only very recently came out and said they’re doing it. They’ve been trying (not very successfully) to be sneaky about it in the past to take days off or hide things. Like you said, prerecording can be no big deal and sometimes it’s advantageous...but I think they only admitted it because people are catching on.

If you watch KKandBabyJ you’ll see a truly shit mom... that’s why in my eyes missy Isn’t the worst.

She’s got her issues but oh well.... I do hope she won’t have a third for a while if she even wants her third... but who am I kidding her and Bryan probably spent their vacation having amazing “hot tub dance sessions”

I know this isn’t about DB but these people keep showing up on the recommended section for me and I’ve maybe watched one or two vlogs but I’m intrigued now, can you give me a summary of why they are a shit show? Lol

feeding them crap and keeping them hidden from social interaction unless its another vlogging family isnt healthy and the kids happiness usually only comes from getting expensive gifts and trips which in its self is sad to see.

also the lannings lack of safety concern for the boys and themselves is very concerning to watch. one of these days the kids or missy is gonna get seriously injured and i hope that gives them a wake up call.

Ollie needed a brain scan and Missy corrupted the test because she was too stubborn to follow the doctors directions.

Even Missy has no idea how healthy her children are. We see the illusion of health and happiness. We have no idea if they truly are or not. They’ve eaten garbage their entire life though, so even barring any serious issues, “healthy” is debatable. They are emotionally and developmentally stunted, and kept isolated to ensure it stays that way. There is a lot of emotional manipulation in that house, and it plays out in front of the boys daily grooming them to repeat history.
