I don't know but does anyone else think it's unsafe to have your child hold their mouth wide open with heads tilted back while someone throws food in it? I'm sure their throats are wide open too and this seems like such a choking hazard if it went in with enough force. Maybe it's just the nurse in me and I see too much!! It just reinforces in me I want to parent "differently" and use some common sense.

I haven’t watched the vlog yet but please tell me they didn’t take Barley for Japanese after she has had the stomach flu for how many days ???

I really doubt with that much access to an impressionable 13-17-year-old girl that he waited for marriage.

And that would be the reason why they are not temple worthy and were not married in the temple.

Now I really don't know much about the Mormon faith, but I believe they actually are temple worthy right now. They were allowed to go in the temple for one of the brothers weddings somewhat recently, while Tyson's mom and sister were not. Doesn't that mean they are temple worthy? If so, it doesn't necessarily mean they should be, it just means they were able to trick someone into believing they can be. Their original ceremony wasn't in the temple, but they say they were sealed (is that what it's called) later in a second ceremony in the temple. Which also would mean they are considered temple worth, right?

The post about them tossing food into the girls' mouths gave it away for me!
I think they like it so much for two reasons-- 1) they're gluttons, and the servings are huge (at least at the teppanyaki near me they are) and 2) it's one place where it's ok to get food thrown into your mouth. They're such overgrown toddlers. I wonder that they don't enjoy their girls more. They're entertained by the same things.

I follow a page on Instagram called sweet peas of three and it's a woman pregnant with identical triplets. She is hilarious and seems super down to earth. But the reason I'm telling you about her is she just posted a story saying she will delete, block, and report anyone who uses her pictures and makes a fan page because it's creepy. She gets it! I find it comical that he wants people to believe that they got married a month after her 18th birthday without having dated a while before that. Ashley herself said in that "why July is so special" blog that they'd been planning their wedding for a while and we're just waiting to get officially engaged until a ring was made. But clearly they were engaged before she turned 18.

Personal, but with a point: when I was 14, I had a horrible crush on the son of a friend of my mom's. He was 21. And he was very sweet to me, and always kind, but made it very clear that he was NOT going to be my boyfriend. And we ended up being friends for a long time, and I even fixed him up with my sister (who obviously was older) when she was home from college..
That is what normal guys that age do when confronted with a 13-14 year old girl.

Ok, more math to do: Tyson's birthday 10/5/81
Ashley's birthday 7/20/87

They met 7/4/01 which made Ashley 13 not quite 14 and Tyson was 19 almost 20.

They got married on 8/15/2005 when Ashley had just turned 18 and Tyson was about to turn 24.

Hmmmmm.....that's just not right. I guess he has 10 more years before his durls can hang out until 2 a.m. with almost 20 year old guys.
