The wife of one of the brother in laws of the pilot sued the estate of the dead pilot for $2mil. She had a 2yr old child at the time.

Totes fair enough, the pilots MASSIVE error in judgement caused the deaths of four people, himself included. If he had survived he’d probably be in jail!

Definitely fair enough! I would have been livid if that had happened to my husband/father of my children. My ex was a Navy flyer, and between the Navy and him being Mr. Responsibility, we would have been very well taken care of had anything happened. But this kind of thing, you're not prepared for.
Life insurance is a good thing to have. But I get the lawsuit too.

No idea what the take away is supposed to be, besides that he had survival instinct skills, which is innate in pretty much everyone.

The real tragedy is the people that died and the family and friends that had to deal with the loss, and that was barely even touched on at all.

I agree. That fact was glossed right over. Khyl just kept stating how the Lord had saved him, and the Holy Ghost whispered survival strategies in his ear as the plane was going down.

I thought especially sickening when “Doprah” (hilarious, but not mine) gushed over how excited everyone was going to be to hear Khyl/Kyle’s story. “You will loooove this story,” she gushed. Sorry, Trashley, but I don’t generally loooove stories where four people perish, and I don’t find them “exciting” in the least. Dumb Doprah.

I’d be interested in knowing whether talk show host wannabe Trashley just let him tell his story or with her lack of education, training and experience in this field did she ask questions and dig for information that he may not have been willing to talk about voluntarily? More importantly I’m curious to know whether Trashley provided details of who viewers should reach out to in a professional sense should the interview have raised personal issues for them? I know not many people survive a plane crash so there’s only a small possibility of somebody else that’s also survived a plane crash stumbling across her vlog. However, it can raise issues for those that have been in similar traumatic events, such as a major car accident with fatalities, without the viewer even making the connection to their own trauma until they’re well into watching the vlog.

Lots of moments her looking constipated..... I mean, concerned.

So correct me if I’m wrong but from what you wonderful SISsies who have watched “Doprah” (not mine to take the credit for either but like CherryBaby I think it’s hilarious) and/or researched further it sounds like it was a rainbows and unicorns glossing over of a tragedy in which four people (three completely innocent) lost their lives in an entirely preventable accident. And the take away is that if her “vlogger bestie” can survive a plane crash then the rest of us should be inspired to feel better about whatever difficulty we’re dealing with and should just suck it up and get over it.

Yes, Khyl and one other person (I think his wife’s sister’s husband survived the crash). Four others perished, including his wife’s brother and father. The crash appears to have his wife’s father’s fault because he allowed the plane to run out of fuel. From newspaper articles, air traffic controllers allegedly gave him directions to another refuelling location, but he decided to try and make it to the end destination, but hand to land in the sea because he couldn’t make it that far.
Shumway and the other survivor were in the water for about 90 mins, if I’ve understood properly, before being rescued.
It’s an interesting story, rather than an exciting story. I don’t love it, because four men lost their lives - Shumway’s wife lost her father and brother - and by all accounts it could have been corrected if the pilot hadn’t rather arrogantly (in my opinion) tried to take a gamble with how much fuel remained.
I dint find it inspirational. I find it very sad and regrettable and a prime example of how you shouldn’t take risks with other people’s safety! A most unfortunate incident!
If my father had been responsible for the death of four people - including himself and my brother - I wouldn’t want my husband discussing it on YouTube with Ashley, just to get her views up.
Couldn’t there even be legal repercussions for doing so? There have been legal proceedings around the story. I’ve even tried to be careful in posting “facts” here, so that I don’t misrepresent them.
I would imagine Ashley would need to be careful about content.

Asswitt is wearing an Ocelot for some reason. Who knows. Gee, what an inspirational video. Watching a few hundred 'influencers' making such a difference to the world. You know, 'light the world'. They spend a few hours listening to religious stuff and then perhaps an hour packing bags for refugees. I'm sure refugees who are awaiting housing would just love to get a bag full of cleaning products. And they are so very pleased as shit with themselves. Arriving and leaving in an extremely expensive car but you know, 'light the world' people. Tomorrow, they go back to being the same old boring, greedy, selfish, ignorant people they truly are. Oh and before anyone jumps on me, I volunteer 3 days a week working with the homeless. For free, in my own time, even though I am very unwell. I don't take to my bed with the slightest hiccup. People need me and I'm there for them. These people, all of them, make me sick to my stomach.

I'm sure they are turned off due to the circumstances of that plane crash. Michelle Shumway did her "stepford wives" adoring smiling gaze at her husband through the whole performance--you know where he spoke of the death of her father and other relatives. The cause of that crash was arrogance that one can somehow tempt fate, especially when you have the lives of others at stake.

If you watch the Shumway vlogs, they like to use their car for entertainment and constant distracted driving. They drive around town doing various pranks and sing-a-longs without a thought or care in the world that #1 their distracted driving could hurt another or #2 that their precious children or their friends should wear seat belts. They also have a golf cart for riding along with no seat belts or concern for their children's safety. I guess no lessons are to be learned, because it seems a lot of the Greedner's friends have zero fu.#%@s about safety, even those who have already experienced loss because of recklessness. Be inspired you guys.

That’s why the Shumays & Greedners get along so well they are both devoid of common sense. In my opinion stupid attracts stupid which is why they have so many KADS who stick up for them. The entire lot are stupid.

Just popped on Quadruple the Energy. Tylard is stepping down from being active because he is just too busy with all the other businesses they run. Such a bunch of baloney!!! I particularly loathe that "God put this on my heart" BS. So God has regular conversations with Trashley about "spreading light and love"? I don't think so. Because (maybe it's just me) I think Hod would have better ways for her to do that than making monetized videos about the tragedies her "friends" went through. How about quietly working with Habitat for Humanity, like Jimmy Carter? Or maybe feeding the homeless (not tossing a 20 out the window at one)? Maybe what my parents did, teaching refugees English? Although I shudder to think of the language skills those refugees would come away with.

#notarealnanny does absolutely everything for those girls while the “parents” sit back and don’t do jack shit every single day. We all called it and knew this little endeavor of his wouldn’t last. People want him to show his results and progress but there aren’t any except him gaining weight, not losing it. Look at the church picture from Sunday. He’s bigger than ever. If they are so busy why did they take off work early the other day to go to the movies? Why the constant eating out for lunch? Didn’t Asswipe take a few days last week to go to the movies and to get her ugly ass brows done? If they are so busy they wouldn’t be doing any of this. A lot of people who are truly busy don’t have time during the day to even eat lunch or use the restroom but these two lazy asses go gallivanting all around town and still claim they are busy. Good Lord, I wish the idiot KAD would see through all of their bullshit lies. Well, once again this is something he quit at. Doesn’t surprise me one bit. He’s such a loser. He "bit off more than he could chew"........except when it comes to huge steak dinners, giant cokes, desserts, donuts, etc.,etc. Come on Tylard.....you are a known scam artist who has no interest in doing what it takes to become more healthy.
