LoraandLayton Part 2
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Exactly. When you google "bryan Ellis fernandina" (layton's dad) something comes up about real estate investor or something like that. I noticed that a while back. She is 100% living in the same city as layton's dad. I would bet anything that home was a bank foreclosure purchased by layton's dad and he is either a) letting them live there rent-free or extremely low rent for awhile b) purchased the home for them. There is NO way Layton supports a family of 5 as much as he's home. Maybe if he was some support smart wallstreet investor, but we all know he's too dumb for that.
It would seriously explain sooo much.
Also, I hope she doesn't junk the house up with her disgusting peace/love tie dye bedroom. That's so damn tacky and ugly. Except that carpet in the dining room (???) is weird. I'm guessing it was an inexperienced person trying to remodel a home and resale it. Possibly layton's dad.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
A lot of newer homes have carpet in the dining rooms for some reason, doesn't make sense to me. Now they'll have to buy a big area rug for under the table to keep it clean from spills.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
We have a newer home but have wood floors in the dining room. Only the kids rooms have carpet. I couldn't imagine eating on top of carpet with kids!

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
The house is nothing special and actually looks smaller than what they had before. (Maybe the same size but in just a weird layout?) Yes it's updated but it won't be for long with her tacky decorating and 3 kids.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
100% renting. Lora would be shoving it down our throats if they had bought. The reason Layton's daddy met them there is because he had the key. Why else would he have gotten up to meet them there in the middle of the night?
Can I just ask why they didn't plan their trip a little better? Arriving at 3 am is hardly friendly for Layton's family to have met them or for the kids to be awake. Why not leave a few hours later so as to arrive in daylight?
Meanwhile...is having a separate loo a luxury in America? She and the step mother in law were making such a big deal out of that and the pantry. Erm....they're pretty much standard here.
Lora, plenty of people rent off the Internet without seeing the property in person. It's not that big a deal. You're hardly the first family in the world to move to a different city. Sigh.....

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
I also thought planning the trip so that they arrived at 3:30 in the morning was weird. They could have just stayed at a hotel for one night if they had to do it that way, instead of making their relatives meet them at that time.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
They could have easily left north fort myers and made it to fernindina area in one day, well before 3 am! Poor planning on her part.

I couldn't watch that video for more than a minute. "Do you like it buddyyyyyyyy?" About every room? Makes my ears bleed.

Ugh, I know. I give my kids random nicknames every so often, but I don't call them the same nickname 5 times in every minute.staceybrax wrote:I couldn't watch that video for more than a minute. "Do you like it buddyyyyyyyy?" About every room? Makes my ears bleed.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Just based on the screenshot if her crying as she left the old house (didnt watch the video ) and her recent Instagram about how money isn't what matters in the end, I wonder if she resents that Layton couldn't step up and make the money to keep her there, but she's trying to convince herself otherwise.
Btw I'm not saying age couldn't find a job herself, just that it might be an area of contention in their rlnshp.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
i was added to a facebook group one time by a youtube mommy i am somewhat friends with, they basically bitched and gossiped in there. i cannot remember the specifics but lora gets an inheritance every month from a relative that passed, i think they called it an inheritance atleast and she earns enough from youtube and the inheritance for them to maintain their lifestyle. layton's jobs are obviously all because of daddy and there is no telling what level of pay is involved, but laytons daddy isn't the one paying for everything.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
After seeing the video I don't think they bought it. You have to go to the closing and signn 5000 papers and then you get the key. At least one of them would have had to gone to the closing if it was in only her's and Layton's name. My husband went to our closing and I was in a different state at the time. I had to sign an affadavit giving him permission to sign on my behalf. I feel like if they bought the home they'd be IG and vloggin the crap out of that to "brag" What lender would give them money?
And I would say a seperate toilet and pantry is a big deal to me. I live in a 1950s home and only have one bathroom with no separate toilet and I have no pantry. I'd love to have both! I'd make a big deal out of the pantry at least. And UGH I cna't wait to see how Lora junks the place up with her millions of photos and tacky wall quotes.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
I think Laytons parents bought the home and theyre either "renting" from his dad or living for free in it.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Geez, she gets inheritance? Are we sure her parents aren't just giving her an allowance? She is treated like such a baby. They'd be up shit creek if they relied on just Layton's income, probably. Wonder how long that will last her? I'm so curious about this! I wonder if they still have their secret youtube group, as well? Guess we will never know unless one of them ever joins up here togossip. Bet you Lucy isn't allowed in it, though...hahaha
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Hmm, both her parents are alive and if her grandparents had passed, usually all the money would go to her parents and split amongst their siblings. My inlaws got around 200k when my husbands grandmother passed and his his uncle the same. Husband didn't get anything lol.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
there has got to be someone else on here that can vouch for this, there were alot of people coming in and out of that facebook group. it was an inheritance to the best of my knowledge, i do not remember the specifics but for some reason that term sticks out in my head.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
They are definitely renting. You wouldn't buy a house and not check it out. It is in the same state. Like others said all the paper work.
She could get money if a Trust was set up in her name by a late relative. The person that sets it can decide how money is allocated, like monthly or by age. So many different options and trusts.
This sounds like a good theory.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Could be. But that would mean her family has serious money and they don't strike me like they do AT ALL.
Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
No, I think they're pretty serious money actually. Lora's father also doesn't work, he is an "artist".
Lora's grandfather was a prominent surgeon, she mentioned that when he died.

Re: LoraandLayton PART 2
Haha....in the house tour video, Lora totally didn't know that they were geese not ducks.
