Hi! Never posted before, been lurking for quite a while though. I love samika, the Disneyland vlog had me in tears and I think PJ and Noah are the cutest babes! I do believe Jen is 5'10-5'11 but I think Sam has said he's only about 6'1!

The change in relationship with Tyler and Daehan is really bothering me. I feel as though Tyler and Daehan are purposely posting these "best buddy" videos and thumbnails to piss Sam off. It annoys me because you can see that this lack of communication has hurt Sam and Jen. I think they must be lonely. The sooner they move away from egotistical Daehan and his boring sidekick, the better!

I always thought Daehan and Noah's relationship was cute but Deahan just seems childish nowadays. It's like he replaced Noah with that little girl he's always posting on his instagram so now I just find him weird and obsessive

I think instead of Salt Lake, they should move to Chicago or California. Be around family. A support system would be nice, especially for Jenn. And Noah loves both sets of grandparents. PJ will in time as well.

I think cost of living might keep them from moving to Chicago and California. They want to buy a house. They can get much more bang for their buck in Utah. I do think they need more support. Jenn doesn't have much of a life outside of being a mommy which is cool, but I think they'd all be happier if she explored her own interest more.

That's true. SLC is definitely less expensive than either Chicago or Southern California. I was just thinking that they seem lonely since the whole Trixin gang deserted them. And with Jenn having PPD, support is especially important. She seems pretty happy right now, so maybe she's feeling better. Hopefully once they move, they can get in with another church and make friends.

It does help that they have genuine friends though. I know youtubers have real life friends and all but the stuff they show in videos makes it looks like the only people they hang out with are other youtubers. It's cool to see Jen and Sam hanging out with their friends from school before the whole youtube thing. Jen's friends seem super supportive and genuinely seem to care about her which I think she definitely needs right now.

That's what I meant about moving to California. Do they have friends besides Daehan and Tyler (and Ellie and Jared occasionally)? And moving to SLC they'll be starting fresh. And that's hard, being a young couple with young kids and no jobs outside the house.

That Disneyland vlog was precious. That's one of those vlogs that I can actually see the family looking back on for memories later on in life.

I agree, I wish they would move to Chicago or California. Especially with how much both Noah and PJ loved the water, I would love them to be in California. They just seem so happy there. I think pp's are right though, it's probably the cost of living keeping them from going there. Either way, I want them to end up with some great friends.

Am I the only one who really hopes they don't move to Chicago? I don't know why but Sam's family has always annoyed me, especially his mom and sister. I used to never skip a vlog but I skipped a ton this summer when they were hanging out with his family.

His mom isn't so bad. She's got a heavy hand with the makeup, but she seems to have a good heart. She did a good job raising Sam.

It's kristy right? The one with the three (?) girls. That's the one that I can't stand, and you're right about his mom, she just bothers me a little when the whole family is together. But when it's just Samika + his parents I can tolerate it.

I like his dad, the older sister (not Kristy but the other one), and Kristy's oldest girls. His mom and younger sister are okay (in small doses) but Kristy just annoys the shit out of me. As for Jen's family, I love her parents and sister so I wouldn't mind seeing them closer to California. But obviously whatever they think is more affordable and where they'd be happiest! I feel like this will come across rude, and I seriously apologize if it does, but i feel like Utah/Idaho just sucks people in. Everyone seems the same there. At least all the youtubers (trixin related and non trixin related).

Sam did a really nice speech in today's vlog. He is one vlogger that I truly believe is in it for creating memories and capturing his children's milestones. They deserve a lot more subscribers than other family bloggers (*cough* Dailybumps *cough*) and seems to be genuinely thankful for the subscribers they do have. It's really nice to see a young couple that hasn't let youtube completely go to their heads, like E&J and B&M.

I'm sorry. I don't believe ANY vloggers that say they do it for the memories or the milestones. I believe him when he says he likes doing it, and that it makes him happy when people say that the vlogs make a difference.
But nobody who is really videotaping"for memories" monetizes videos and uploads them publicly to the Internet. I made lots of videos for memories when my kids were little. And yes, YouTube was around then, and Adsense. But I never uploaded them or monetized them. It's disingenuous at best,and outright BS in cases like Shay, who in one hand will say, "I make vlogs for myself!" And then will say how excited he was to get his first Adsense check and then he challenged himself to make more.

These past view vlogs of them in Naperville at his parents' still leave me wondering why they don't move there? They seem to visit Chicago a lot and have had lots of spur of the moment trips for Cubs games. I'm a student in the heart of Chicago right now so I get how exciting and hectic it is with the World Series going on right now and I'm not even a fan. They enjoy the city and they enjoy coming out for games and events, the kids love being with his parents, I just don't get why not move here? Chicago's expensive, but Naperville where his parents live isn't that expensive and only a 45 minute drive away. Chicago is so diverse and there's always things to do, especially with kids. Utah just seems very bland and monotone to me, no offense to anyone who lives there!
