Haulnarse wrote:$400 for a newborn shoot?!? Is that normal? Here you’d get pregnancy shoot x2-3 plus newborn plus 1mth for that price!

I find it odd that shes so stingey on some stuff and so extra on others. That print they diy’d (and butched) for the nursery that they saved what $20? doing it themselves, the $100 fake plant/tree, but $400 for newborn photos - that to be fair as a photographer herself shouldn’t she be able to take them/some herself?!

Lets be honest, if they hadn’t lost Brynn they’d still be youtube nobodies- dont know about you but i only found them due to her putting away the nursery vlog. So if that hadn’t have happened they’d be struggling financially without youtubes paychecks.
You get what you pay for with photography. $400 seems reasonable for quality newborn photos in CA. I am looking into them and will be buying a package from a well respected photographer that does a grower package (newborn, 6 months and 12 months) for $800 but each stage on their own and not in the package would be about $400. I think the professional photo Rachelle posted is absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to have some like that of my little girl in a few months. Newborn photography is a special niche and requires skills that other types of photography do not (lighting/editing for newborn skin, safe positioning with props, keeping the room warm). I take headshots and family photos for friends and family for free and would never offer to do newborn photography because I don't have that training and would never be satisfied with my work. So while Rachelle annoys me, I don't fault her for this.

I hate how all these young moms are putting all this crap on their babies heads. Bows, feathers, flower crowns, tiaras for a photo. They just came out of a very protected space and you're gonna put all these itchy rough things on their skin??? Newborns only need to wear diapers and something to keep them warm. If you want to dress something up, buy a doll or wait until they're toddlers.

Emma is beautiful, but that top knot thing is so ugly. I don't want to mean, but I really hope she gets enough feedback to stop using those.

I get the feeling Rachelle isn't crazy about the red hair. She mentioned in today's vlog about it turning blonde

Oh with that top knot hat... yikes. It makes her look like this tiny headed big body baby. Just let the baby be free!

She is going to regret not continuing Beau's training!

Rachelle wore the same gross clothes for 2 days and her hair in the "bringing newborn baby home" video is DISGUSTING!!!!!! What a dirty pig. There is no reason for her to be slimy and oily. Hand the baby off and go shower.

Well then I must be a dirty pig too, lol. I stayed in the same comfy clothes and nightgowns probably for a couple of days when bringing my newborn son home, plus the condition of my hair and it being styled was my least concern.
I try to give people a buy when they first bring baby home and give birth.
Is anyone else worried about Beau? Now what is super gross and unexcusable imo is letting the dog lick your newborn. I hope they start training him again.

Not saying you shouldn't stay in "comfy" clothes. Clean clothes would be the idea I was trying to point out. SMH. Dirty is dirty...

Beau made me nervous in that last video. He really needs to be trained. I was so afraid someone would trip on him while holding the baby. Holding him down by his collar was making more excited too. He needs to be trained to at least sit when told.

He needs to know not to rush people when they enter a room period. That was one of the things we taught all of our dogs just of kindness for any guest we would have. They don’t need to be holding him down like they do. That could hurt them and him.

I rolled my eyes when she said they needed to work on teaching him about personal space. They should have been working on that from the very beginning!!

Beau was just excited and missed his parents. He is young and will get there. They were very careful and smart. Beau won’t be that hyper everyday. He just was excited to see them.

Beau is literally always like that. It was a poor choice getting a puppy while trying to get pregnant. I'd be so nervous for the safety of my baby if it were me

He will be fine. He didn’t look half as bad as my golden would of been in that instance. She has been through two rounds of training and still gets excited when people come over. Baby gates to keep them separated if he gets hyper will be her best friend.
