Nothankyou wrote:Also, yes Kelsey, listen to the voice telling you that you shouldn't be sharing your family's life on YouTube. That's probably the most practical and common sense thought you've had in a long time. It isn't a good idea to be sharing and exploiting your child in this way.
I thought that was telling too, but they are far too down the YT hole to turn back now. I wouldn't be shocked if Corbin already quit his other "job." They've signed with BabyLeague and Trending Family - things they couldn't have done without the pregnancy and baby - and maybe other offers are coming in. All thanks to June!!! Poor kid exploited even before birth!!

I think YT is more of Corbin's dream job than Kelsey's. I get the feeling Corbin wanted to be on-air talent in the news industry, but couldn't cut it and that's when he started thinking of YT as a potential full-time income - and I'm sure he was motivated by B&M's fame and money.

I don't think Corbin would stop posting to YT even if Kelsey wanted to stop. Kelsey certainly doesn't want to work, so she probably doesn't get to voice her opinion on the subject.

Re:changing a baby- newborns poop a TON. Mine is a day younger than theirs & poops at least once a night- not gonna make her sit in it. Some newborns don't mind pee in diapers, others do. I change mine 2-4 times a night, and have my other children too at the early newborn stage. Later on, no.

Re: baby having gas. They probably aren't burping her, considering they don't know anything about newborn care. If they had ANY support (family, friends, baby groups, etc.) someone would notice it & mention it if they brought up gas.

Every time I see that dog I'm annoyed, they treat it better than their own baby.

My newborn was born the 13th, our little ones are close in age. Sending you good vibes for a restful night ahead!

Not always. My oldest pooped once a week. My middle child 3-4 times a day, and my youngest was every other day. All completely normal. My doc said breastfed babies can go up to ten days between poops and it's still normal (if that has been their pattern, not if it happens all of a sudden after more frequent poops).

Just wanted that clarified for anyone reading thinking their baby isn't healthy if they only poop once a week like mine.

Are they letting June go a full night without changing, my gosh we changed with every feed or waking whether the nappy needed a change or not in the beginning was 4 times or so a night that's how we switched to cloth with my youngest and realized he was getting a bad reaction to disposables, my older two never got a nappy rash and my youngest kept on getting it so badly we went to the doctor so many times got so many creams and ointments nothing worked, switched to cloth and not an issue after that, if they aren't changing June properly the poor baby is going to have such a hard time :(

Newborn and younger Babies aren't meant to sleep through if they do great if not it is what it is; you made her and brought her into this world get over it, jeez man my youngest still doesn't sleep through and had undiagnosed sleep apnea until just over a year so that was a year of waking every 30-40 minutes and my eldest is on the spectrum and also still doesn't sleep through he is 9 it is what it is

I cannot get over the fact that they rent a car nearly every day, yet think that's cheaper in the long run than buying a cheap car. I get that there is maintenance and insurance and parking fees, but as frequently as they do it, they cannot be saving money that way.

I found Corbin's story about driving some woman to work a bit fishy.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Target thing is some sort of brand deal...a lot of other YT families are going to Target to buy Easter things within just a few days of each other. Odd because Easter is still like three weeks away! (You can sort of spot brand deals like these when a lot YTers do the exact same thing within days of each other - a few weeks ago it was Build-A-Bear. And I think they don't have to disclose it's a brand deal because they are paid in or given gift cards in return for the promotion. I wish they would be more transparent about these things!! A lot of these families are connected to Trending Family.)

Thank you! I'm definitely tired but don't worry I don't complain about it constantly like K&C because I'm aware it's par for the course with a newborn :)

lol I was thinking the same thing. Newborns in ergo are so awkward. And she can't be wearing this right, can she even see the babies face?

No, I don't think that carrier is fitted correctly. I can't remember the brand but maybe it's not adjusted down to newborn size?

Watching their vlog is getting painful. I get it, every parent makes mistakes and especially when it's your first. But when you know better you do better. Kelsey and Corbin seem to refuse to acknowledge any comments that are correcting their parenting.

I know how sensitive those hormones can make you in the beginning, but they have chosen to be YTers! I think everyone knows by now that decision comes with being in the public eye and getting inundated with advice.

June is NOT safe being worn in that carrier. The top of a carrier should never go above the infants neckline. Kelsey would be wise to go to her local babywearing international group. In her hip urban living area there is most definitely one. It's not there first go around with improper babywearing, you'd think after the first time and them receiving comments regarding it they would educate themselves.

Yes, there is definitely a group they could join...but I get the feeling they are too self-centered to make friends or LEARN things.

Seems like a nice group: https://www.facebook.com/BWIPDX/

I honestly think this is why they're such a hate watch. They continue to do dangerous or ill-advised things and completely ignore the well meaning comments that try to help them. They can't be bothered to learn anything. They clearly read the comments and just get defensive. So arrogant and immature. All the people who are actually informed are going to drop off because they're going to get tired of watching these two make the same mistakes over and over again. Kelsey and Corbin just want to be surrounded by an audience that is as stupid as they are so they can be praised everyday for doing less than the bare minimum.

They probably don't realize how much time Bryan and Missy spent deleting and blocking negative comments, and don't understand why they hardly ever see negative comments on DB vlogs! They're probably so confused!

BWI is a great start & would give them something to vlog about (and a reason to drive a car lol). They can even check out carriers & that would give them another hippie topic to review on their boring channel.
