You know, after watching a bunch of their videos... how is Daniel married to Kendal? She is so superficial... and he seems to be more about his family, and more caring than her. Am I missing something? He's also good looking (imo) and she looks like she's been in the sun too long... and talking about her botox etc.. I wonder how they are off camera? Does he ever say "maybe we should cut back on the spending..." or anything.. or is she the boss?

She is a classic trophy wife. I’m not surprised he married her. She’s materialistic and vain and someone who wants that high class family first wholesome Christian image. If YouTube wasn’t their job, they seem like the type to send their kids to private school, after school activities and sports and are active members of their moderately large church (do they even go to church or are they too busy at the mall on Sunday mornings?). She very much fits into that plastic-I-Had-work-done South Florida aesthetic but their roots in the south is where their wholesome Christian family first vibes come from.

I saw where the house is pending too and thought the same thing....the Riches have it under contract. For the life of me, I don’t understand them. I can’t fathom signing my name on a mortgage for $745,000 without knowing the state of Youtube! They are coming off of their two biggest years on YouTube and could quite possibly be headed towards their worst year on YouTube with all the COPPA changes. My husband and I both have good jobs. I’m an RN and he’s a math professor, but I can promise you we didn’t dive head first into a home loan until we first knew we were happy and secure in our positions. Daniel could not go back to work as an engineer and, solely, cover the cost of that mortgage. Yes, engineers make good money but they are a large family so a big mortgage isn’t their only expense. I would find it utterly hilarious if 1) they buy and have to sell the house or 2) Daniel has to go back to engineering, Kendall has to go back to nursing and the kids have to go to public school.

My husband and I both work and bring in a good income together and we spent less than half of what we qualified for on our mortgage. We still have a beautiful home and lots of money left over for travel and other things. There is no way I would buy such an expensive house with an uncertain financial future!

I think they may have trouble with the bank appraisal. That house has a lot of money in upgrades and the mortgage company may not see it as an acceptable risk. I don’t think it’s worth even close to the asking price.

On a completely different topic than the house...I know Kendal has personal issues with her family and I won’t discount that because we really don’t know the situation. But in the past they have shown videos with Daniels family - if I remember correctly they lived in SC so not too far preciously, but nothing recently. Not even a mention. Someone asked their Christmas plans recently and Kendal said they are staying home. Why would they choose to stay home by themselves isolating their children from family? They make the 4 hour drive almost every weekend (or “once a month” in Kendals world) but I’m sure she would complain Daniels family being 8-9 hours away is way too far to travel. They’ve been in FL a year now and no visiting home, no mention of Daniels family at all. I wonder if Kendal caused some kind of mess there too to isolate themselves from them as well. I almost feel she loves the victim card and just wants to play herself as this person who has so many trials and tribulations but is still doing “amazing”

Exactly. It shows it sold for significantly less in 2018. The upgrades could not have been $185,000.

Agreed. I found pictures of it before and it already had the pool. They painted, changed the kitchen, put in new flooring and probably changed the master bath. That’s not worth $185,000.

So they’ve resorted to click bait to try to boost numbers! Seriously, B went to the dentist and ‘she was rushed in’ ‘this is bad’. They are sinking to an all new low just to be able afford a 3/4 million dollar house

In this country 185k would be about right but not in America! We renovated our entire vacation home in Florida for under 100k!

If she’s trying to appeal to an older audience, why oh why, does she Insist on using stupid Snapchat filters and animations on her Instagram stories and why is she on TikTok. Kendal rich is crazy. If she wants to appeal to an older audience she needs to grow up!

Her TikToks are cringy. She truly thinks she can dance and that she has it all. I would be beyond embarrassed if she was my mom. I think she just wanted to steal Evie’s thunder and prove she could get more followers. Yes, she has surpassed Evie. Congrats Kendal! Now grow up. You are not as cool or as thin as you think you are, Kendal, and your TikToks prove that.

Her TikToks are horrible! Evie’s aren’t great either, they’re all the same song and moves over and over.

I've been bored lately and watching some of their older vlogs... I always thought over the years Evie got very selfish and stingy... but, it's been from almost the very get go of their vlogging. I get kids/teens can be selfish and stingy, especially when their parents are giving them the world... but, she is on another level. Her parents should really put a stop to it, before she ends up even worse.

I have a teen exactly the same age as Evie, one slightly older and one Brinley’s age. Therefore I have a lot of contact with teenage girls...my own and their friends. I have not yet met one who is so vain or so into tiktok that they would dance in public. The teenage girls I know are smartly dressed but not like vsco girls (I learned about vsco only recently). In fact they think that trend is stupid! It would never occur to my 15 year old to get manicures or eyelash tints. In fact it wouldn’t even occur to my 17 year old to spend so much money on her appearance. Perhaps it’s not the same culture as in America...I can’t judge...or maybe it’s not American culture, maybe it’s just YouTube culture. Maybe someone on here could enlighten me...what’s normal for a middle class teenage girl in America

I subbed a fifth grade class once and at the end of the day we were all having a little dance party and i asked them to teach me a few dance moves from Tik Tok and then asked if they were Tik Tok famous and almost everyone said their parents won’t let them get the app cause it’s inappropriate. Those are kids Brinley’s age, but Kapri who is younger is on the app. So it does really show that influencer parents are on another level when it comes to their parenting. I also do not see many girls outside of college wearing oversized shirts, running shorts and Birkenstock’s. Which i believe is where the trend started. Before VSCO was even an adjective for basic bitch, girls in college and especially sororities would wear that outfit like a uniform. Idk how that became the official outfit of the VSCO girl or how VSCO girl came to be. But the “aesthetic” had been around Pinterest for a while. I am also surprised that someone so into the trends as Evie isn’t asking for a white Jeep Wrangler for her 16th. How is she gonna take cute photo’s of chapsticks in one cup holder and a venti Starbucks pink drink in the other and a stack of scrunchies around the gear shift and puka shell necklaces dangling from the rear view mirror and a pura vida save the turtles stickers on the back window?

But as far as I can tell the trend seems to only be on YouTube. But i mean most schools wouldn’t allow kids to wear running shorts and oversized shirts to school. I do notice that trendy shoes are important. I see lot’s of old skool vans (black with the white stripe) and white vans slip in’s and the checker slip in’s are pretty popular at school. But i know A lot of kids who are Brinley’s age whose parents don’t allow them to have Tik Tok because there’s a lot of inappropriate stuff. I have it cause the little girl i watch wants it but her parents don’t let her. So we don’t even watch the for you page and even a few people i follow I won’t Let her watch cause it’s not kid friendly. Idk what it is about youtuber parents who let their kids have total access to apps like Tik Tok where you don’t know what they will see. Much less encourage the inappropriate dancing by doing it with your child.

I don't know how old Evie is exactly but I'm 19, and have sisters that are 18, 16, 14, and 13. We all dress pretty similar and you could say it's vsco style but I think we all just like being comfy and rarely need to look presentable. I definitely see a lot of people around my campus dressed similar and I am in a sorority so that statement was spot on. As for my youngest sisters because I think they are closer to Evie's age, they share a tik tok account (monitored by my parents) so they know all of those trends and definitely go out of the way to be "vsco girls" by buying burts bees chapstick and they both got hydro flasks for their birthdays as well as have vans on their christmas lists. Most of their friends as far as I know are pretty much the same as them in those regards. The only difference I see between my siblings and the Rich's is that my sisters do the vsco aesthetic a lot cheaper by thrifting and also buying cheaper brands because we aren't as rich as the riches. As far as I've seen through their pinterests and vsco accounts it seems like vsco girls are big into upcycling and thrifting so even though you are a basic bitch you still have unique pieces. Evie tends to buy new and overpriced items because they look old and used. I also think Brin definitely portrays the aesthetic more in line with the kids my sisters go to school with but I think that's because you can't wear tube tops to school nor can you easily find them for an 11 year old. As for the eyelash tints and manicures, none of us even wear makeup just because we don't need it or care about it, and manicures are a special treat because they are expensive so just for homecoming/prom (maybe) but we do paint each others nails which I think is more fun.
