Don’t they have a black toilet in one of the bathrooms? Both kids eat the same thing everyday, so why is Ganes the only one that drinks the pediasure? If she’s not getting the right nutrition from her diet then brooks isn’t either.

I remember they pretty much forced Brooks into potty training shortly after he turned two. Which obviously some kids are ready that young but in my experience most kids are a little closer to three.

I remember they were so adamant about it because Gaines was younger when she was potty trained. Cause ya know she is the gold standard for all things. I recall them mentioning he was having a hard time and had frequent accidents. Which to me would be a sign that he wasn't ready quite yet. Yet they pushed through because it was more convenient for them (Katie). I agree, him pooping in a pull up every morning is a real issue. She claims she still wakes up 5 a.m so she has time without the kids. So logic would say to go get Brooks up like 30 minutes before he normally wakes up and take him to the bathroom.

The half bath on the first floor had a black toilet and matching black pedestal sink. They replaced the toilet with a white one but left the sink. So it looks pretty silly if you ask me.

What does Daylight Savings Time have to do with feeding the kids? I admit it wss weird that the day seemed half gone by the time I got up, but we've been under the weather in our house and still managed to have a nice dinner of pork chops and oven roasted vegetables.
I agree with the poster who said that they were probably hung over and oblivious to the needs of the kids.
Remember when we thought that they were better parents than Bryan and Missy? Times sure have changed!

The birthday stuff is bizarre. I'm not in debt and my husband and I have plenty of savings. For our birthdays, we'd probably go out for dinner. But that's it! I don't expect gifts from anyone let alone a cake - I mean, the drawings from the kids are cute, but I can't imagine doing all that stuff for my birthday, unless it was a milestone birthday.

Ok, let me get this straight, they spent $50 on her birthday. They justify it because. If you think about what we could have spent. NO you stay home. If you want your kids to burn off their energy then use all the equipment in your basement. Your too broke to use your fireplaces! Your broke and you don’t spend $50 so you can use a gift card. You know what I did when I did not have enough money, I got a second job. Of course I was in college full time and worked two part time jobs to cover rent and tuition. They’re are doing no one any service with their debt disaster vlogs because they aren’t doing anything to help themselves. I hope no one in financial trouble is taking them seriously. M

Katie and Cullen both seemed really tipsy. After watching this vlog, it’s quite obvious that when alcohol is involved, they get along better. Usually they look like they don’t even like each other that much.

I’m still not sure why they spent money sending the kids to gymnastics. The kids ate pizza two nights in a row.

All Katie wanted for her birthday was to be away from her children. Sadly, I don’t think they are even close to hitting rock bottom and are in total denial. They are spending so much unnecessary money, I don’t care how many “gift cards” they have. They are being extremely careless and that’s not even accounting for all of the money they spend and don’t show.

Oh come on!! They just happen to have a gift card for EVERY single thing they need one for.... a gift card for a massage, a gift card for dinner out, a gift card for DONUTS (Cullen said he didn't know how to keep the kids entertained while Katie slept until 10am and so he asked them if they wanted to go get donuts... "that we had a gift card for!"). Who has that many random gift cards just lying around?!?! Give me a break!

On a side note... while watching Katie posing with the kids to blow out her candles, it occurred to me that I cannot imagine never having an authentic moment with my family. Everything they do is for show and a put-on. It is fascinating to think about the ways that it has impacted them as parents and more importantly, how it has impacted their children to have parents who are basically "acting" all the time! So strange!

How do they not realize how skewed their logic is? Can't afford to turn on your gas fireplace at home because you cannot afford the gas bill. So these two buffoons decide to go spend money on a fancy restaurant and pay for childcare for the kids. Which to me really highlights the rift between Katie and her family. They have so many family members nearby yet they paid for childcare. Her sister lives 2 houses down, if my sister lived that close my kids would be there once a week.

What is wrong with them?

I agree with whoever said they enjoy each other mostly when there is alchohol involved.

They both need to take a step back and reevaluate their drinking habits.

All she wanted was to be away from her kids that being away from is so horrible that she won't get a job outside the home, but she sends them to daycare full time. Contradiction is right. I wonder if she stays up at night coming up with new rationalizations for spending. "We only spent $50, and it's so great, because think of what we could have spent!".
Look up pretzel logic in the dictionary. There's a picture of Katie.
Cullen couldn't think of a way to entertain the kids? Take them for a walk! Put the dogs on a leash (for once) and go outside.

What bothered me the most is that they drove home drunk which endangered everyone on the road. Even worse they picked up their young children in that state then drove them home while they were drunk. That is both illegal and immoral. If I really wanted to open that can of worms I would call CPS and the police in Birmingham. I hope someone does, they deserve it. I have family friends who were killed by a drunk driver. The relative of one of my friends was a few inches short of a complete decapitation. It was so tragic. I hate drunk drivers, they are the lowest of the low. Those two belong in AA asap! Of course the giftcard thing was more smoke, mirrors and outright lies-that is all they are good at. They better buckle up and penny pinch. The economy bottomed out today, nobody is spending $600,000 on a new house in Alabama. If payroll taxes are being cut then employees will be pushed into early retirement, many others laid off. Their time is up!

I liked your post because I agree 100% with your sentiment. They've shown themselves wasted before, and the assumption is that they drove home those times too. It's especially awful with the kids in the car, and if you call them out in the comments your post will never see the light of day because they approve all comments. So nothing but sunshine and roses gets through. So people who question their behavior start to think that they're the odd ones did not believing that everything these people do is amazing.
But it's against forum rules to talk about going IRL with Youtubers. It can get you kicked out. So while I understand how you feel, try not to mention calling the cops or CPS. Or things like that.

Thankyou, I really appreciate your response:). I definitely would not go irl and I promise to exclude that sentiment going forward. I am sure their luck will run out if they keep this up. Fate will catch them in the end. Putting aside that this is a gossip board where we read and comment for some entertainment that was very disturbing. They were slurring their words and their eyes were glazed over. I was very upset by the thought of those two goons either harming innocent people on the road or fatally harming their poor kids with their disgraceful actions. I thought of my son when I saw that and it broke my heart. They always seem to sink to a new low. Deep down I fully agree with what many people have posted about Cullen and Katie being disillusioned with parenthood. If they could turn back the clock knowing what they know now I bet they would have skipped it. Either that or they definitely would have stopped after M.G. was born. I hope their parents intervene and knock them down a few pegs. They need to wake up.

For two people who were desperate to have kids, it seems like they are over them completely. Her new instapost says Brooks came home crying and whining, usually a sign of sickness and that’s what he’s got his mouth hurts (probably from so many days of eating pizza) and his arm. Their kids are sick all the time and I don't understand how they have not made a connection between feeding your kids shit all day every day and their terrible immune systems.

She gives them hot dogs and chicken nuggets because she is worried about protein intake apparently. I would just skip the hot dogs and push fresh veggies and fruit.

My pediatrician has always said one bite of each food group each meal is enough for most kids that small. Plus why do the kids need ice cream every night? Use that as a reward for trying something new like a cheeseburger or grilled chicken or veggies.
