Yeah that was awkward. If my husband ever said that to me, even in private, I would be furious.mermaidd wrote:And WTF is with the "You let my son suck on your nipple" line. WEIRD!

Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
Ok when my son was ollies age they didn't have those pouches so maybe I don't quite understand them. They seem like something that would be nice if you were on a road trip or out at a park or something but to me, putting your kid in a high chair and handing him a pouch is strange and pretty lazy. I don't mean to offend anyone but you can easily make a week's worth of food in about an hour. Then, missy was at the store buying more pouches and she said they are nice to have every once in a while. I would say 75% of the time the only food ollie is eating is from a pouch.
Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
Or you can do BLW and not have to make the kid's food separately at all.
Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
There are so many things to point out in that live chat about how annoying, awkward and rude Bryan is...and then I think about typing them all out and I just want to lie down and take a nap.

Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
I tried to watch some of the chat earlier mostly out of boredom as it's storming here today. I felt like bryan was taking over and didn't really explain anything to the others. I was wanting to see Katie and Cullen but they didn't really seem that interesting in the small bits I watched. Even though it's been pointed out to bryan that he says Cullen's name wrong I doubt he will change their both to lazy to speak correctly. I noticed in today's blog they tried to make a point in showing missy cooking breakfast (am I the only one to find it weird to add the blueberrys in when it's cooking?) and her shopping pointing out her organic buys. Anyone who knows anything about eating healthy food will just see through this!!

Are you kidding?00Riga00 wrote:Dangittt I missed Cullen and Katie prank calling.. =[ I love when they do that!
They are literally SO annoying and childish! Especially Cullen! The "prank calls" weren't even close to being funny.

Opinions....we all have them. =]

Seriously. That was such a...wow I can't even think of the right word to describe what an odd comment that was. It made me feel uncomfortable I can't imagine how missy felt. I would have told him to edit that part out if I was her.mermaidd wrote:And WTF is with the "You let my son suck on your nipple" line. WEIRD!
So gross. And I'm a breastfeeding mom so it's not that, it's just his wording. Ugh.

Same here. I'm all for BFing whenever, however, for as long as you want, but referring to it that way was just strange.SAHMof1 wrote:Seriously. I've only ever used them while out and about also. I don't see the point of giving them to your child every single day while you're at home. I mean is it really that difficult to feed the child yourself? Or like someone else said with BLW all you have to do is watch them to make sure they don't choke.red3head wrote:Ok when my son was ollies age they didn't have those pouches so maybe I don't quite understand them. You think they'd be all over BLW since it requires hardly any work. But I guess it would be difficult to feed your baby a burrito every single day.

Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
If she can go shopping to make ONE child organic meals, why can't they go shopping to make TWO people meals?
So hypocritical of them.
So hypocritical of them.
Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
Good point. And why couldn't she just go there if it's "her favorite store" for all their grocery shopping? She could meal plan, make a list, and do it all at one store.mommyluvv wrote:If she can go shopping to make ONE child organic meals, why can't they go shopping to make TWO people meals?

But wait I forgot according to Bryan she's already an amazing wife because she folds laundry, plays video games, and eats awesome food with him.

Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
How are they not embarrassed to have other people/'friends'/other youtubers over?? I mean they are adults and they still live at home with mommy and daddy so they have to entertain their guest in their bedroom and pretend they are playing house. So weird!

Actually, it's probably more awkward/embarrassing for the ADULT that has to come into their BEDROOM to do business. I wonder if Missy's mom has ever told them to keep it down whenever they had any of their YT friends over.

Re: Bumpsalongtheway Part 9
I've always wondered about when they have guests too! It would feel awkward to sit up in their bedroom the whole time, but it would be weird to sit downstairs with the parents too because I'm sure they probably don't ask to have friends over - I'm sure they do whatever they want (at least that's the vibe I get from them!) I feel so bad for Missy's parents.

I've only ever used those pouches for when we are out and about, I thought that's that is what they're for. My kids love yoghurt in those pouches but that's different because yoghurt is a snack not a meal. But really, BLW is soooo much easier than purées, they're so lazy it's astonishing.red3head wrote:Ok when my son was ollies age they didn't have those pouches so maybe I don't quite understand them.
