I love how they said that they're coming out of their own pocket to do these "incentives." Ummm what does a shoutout or a Skype call cost? Nothing.
Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
They donated 100 dollars.... They spend more than that eating out every damn week.

Well I learned my lesson on not posting stuff with my real name on it. When it comes to pointing out anything negative about the bumps

Lol Bryan spent 100$ on the stupid twitter pillows, and they only put 100$ toward this? How do they plan on going to Cambodia? With the 10 grand collected?
Your absence has gone through me like a thread through a needle.Everything I do is stitched with it's colour

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
I clearly under estimated the 'Bumper Nation'... 10k with less than 200 people?!
Here's what I've learned in terms of taxes...
The decision to offer 'incentives' essentially turned Bryan's 'Gift' campaign into a business.
People aren't just donating... they're actually 'paying' for shout outs, signed cards, T-shirts, and Skype sessions.
Since Daily Bumps/Bryan Lanning isn't a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) these donations can't be classified as gifts, but instead as income, because 'goods' are being exchanged with nearly every donation.
Did that make sense? Basically... the IRS could actually TAX Bryan for all funds raised... as it's not viewed as donations but actual income.
Had he omitted the aspect of 'goods in return'... or at least kept it to the vlogs and not published on his actual GoFundMe, the donations could have been seen as actual 'gifts.' Think a long the lines of those donating to a family who lost their home in a flood.
End Result? I'm sure nothing... but I definitely think he's over his head.
At this point... nearly $800 of the GoFundMe will go to fees. I know Benji and Judy are quick to 'settle' that difference when it comes time to donate... I hope they do the same.

When are they going to stop raising the donation amount and are they going to donate more?

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
Someone donated $1000. I bet you that person won't even get a skype call! lol.
I am also interested in hearing and seeing all these "shout outs" and "skype calls" that are going to be vlogged....
I am sure we won't see them all. or any at that.

I can't believe they have gone over $10,000...those poor people...esp the kids sending $$...if it was anyone but them I could understand. People don't actually see them how we see them.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
Before the comments were disabled, some girl said she was 16 and planned to donated 10% of her paychecks this month.
I understand it's for a good cause and the money goes directly to the charity, but I would rather give it to them myself and not have any affiliation with B&M

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
I am just confused how so many of these donators are saying "Brian and Missy, you inspire me everyday with your videos!"....how do they inspire people? Do they inspire people to be lazy, eat junk food, lie and go to Target???
