I just found Elle through the collab with Kyra, I liked her on boxing video and watched a couple other videos. Today she came up in my requested feed on insta and I checked her out. I immediately had a way different view on her, going off on people for spoiling the gender when it was.your fault. I'm sorry, but that's not right. Either way, I barely know anything about her. Could somebody give me a rundown about her biggest mistakes? Or what you like about her?

Wow, this woman is NUTS. I saw her ranting on her insta stories today about people ruining her precious gender reveal because she registered for girl baby gifts. If she wants to keep the secret why the hell is she registering for clearly gender specific gifts? It’s you’re own fault, dumbshit. Stop blaming the people you depend on for your living.

Another YouTuber registering for extravagant gifts but claiming she doesn’t want gifts. Heh. Okay, prove it, Elle. Give away every single gift your fans send. From your registry. Where you’re telling everyone what you want.

This whole situation is just karma coming to bite her in the ass. She selfishly was waiting until January to do her girl gender reveal so that she could get the views that she wouldn’t have gotten if she had just announced in December when they actually found out what they were having!!!!

She is trying to say the delay is so she can tell her dad in person.... bullshit! She had no problem telling him she was pregnant via FaceTime.

It is all contrived for views and money. Sucks when you can’t mastermind and control the whole situation when you reveal your registry, eh Elle?

For me it was after Cohen was born. Her numbers grew and something changed in her.
I think a particular instance for all of us posters, was when she accidentally uploaded an unedited video with forde. The way she acted and tried to make forde perform was very unsettling.

The way she talks about dan and their marriage really gets me too. Dan is a really nice guy and very hardworking. If you watch their marriage stories from the summer you can hear their story. I still think she hates dan and just wants his sperm.

I hate to admit it but I’ve been following her for years, since Ford was very young. The only reason she got any subscribers is because she posted a video “Dog bit my baby” when Ford was attacked. She took this video down last summer before Ford started school I’m assuming so his peers would never see it. After that she got more popular when her Cohen birth vlog went viral.

I have seen her morph into a different person a at least 1-2 a year, she reinvents herself all the time to see what gets her more views.

We’ve seen her push her kids to smile for the camera, put down Dan numerous times, she’s used the term “dumb blonde” which I find highly offensive, she gives advice on subjects she is not qualified on (albeit most youtubers do this but the difference is Elle was charging for it), she’s literally put her “youtube career” ahead of her family so many times and her viewers have told her to just stop but she ignores it.

She basically regurgitates whatever info, mottos, life changes she’s seen someone else use and spits it out on her channel.

In 2017 we literally saw her marriage fall apart on her vlogs, they did seek counselling and hopefully things are better especially with a new baby coming.

She’s just a train wreck which is the only reason why I can’t look away, although I only skim through her vlogs now and not all of them.

I had been watching this channel over the past almost 3 yrs while pregnant with my little one. The content I had watched for was sharing parenting tips and for the Giving Back charity campaign. I did not always agree with Elle and found some of her behaviours bizarre but found some of the content interesting enough to stick around...but something has changed. SO MANY videos designated to ads, cleaning, remodeling. I thought maybe over time positive changes would be made. However, it seems as she has made more money and the channel has grown, she is less interested in giving back. It was so disappointing to hear vlogmas COST her in ANY way. It is insulting. Minimally, she should see it as an investment in her channel and a 'thank you' to her loyal viewers. Her viewers invest time in her channel and have given her the platform she has...shows a total lack of gratitude and respect. I have also been disheartened by many viewers disclosing that she has a poor attitude toward any criticism. I suppose she only wants the perks without any of the drawbacks of youtube which is unrealistic and immature.

Watching her infertility journey has been strange. The lack of empathy for those who suffer with infertility is unsettling(especially when she references God's will). Her handling of Brittany's pregnancy loss (Bits of Paradis) and (as another poster has pointed out) that she has not acknowledged her youtuber pal's pregnancy at all (Randy&Anna-- they just posted their gender reveal)which is a bit weird.

The current nonsense re:gender reveal, registry, and collab with okbaby is just gross...too much... SO contrived. They could have done the box swap privately but why waste a good business opportunity? How about putting together boxes for pregnant women in need instead of swapping between 2 women who are clearly financially fine. I do not know if this is Elle's attempt at trying to gain a younger audience demographic or what... I think she will gain some subscribers (at least temporarily) but I think it may cost her some long-term ones as well. I find the repetitive mentioning of her registry very manipulative to get her viewers to buy her stuff. Time will tell. She said her registry is private now. If it remains private for her friends/family to access then perhaps I have misjudged her; but something tells me otherwise.
