You know it always annoys me when some youtubers don’t even address the negativity and act like everyone friggen loves them. Aka block, delete, report any comment that can even be misconstrued as negative. HOWEVER. Ashley is the other extreme of this!! I’ve never seen someone on YouTube, putting their ENTIRE life out there, sharing every last detail, be SO BOTHERED by some innocent comments. No one is even mean or hateful to her. I’ve seen hateful comments. Comments that wish harm on people or their families, telling people they deserve to fail, things like that. God forbid someone tells Ashley they may not agree with a small thing she did and she calls them a hater and whines about it. It is so clear she is seriously affected by her comments and her comment deleter husband must have quit!

I'm not Ashley or her husband. You guys are overreacting and trying to start a witch hunt. If I were Ashley I wouldn't be posting here talking about her being codependent with her daughter or all the video suggestions I spewed in the past. That's not something they'd do.

If it’s any reassurance I don’t think you’re Ashley Chase or anyone from their personal lives. I myself have given credit to her where credit is due and I don’t think that means we are automatically them or someone that’s close to them but I do call her out as well because let’s face it she has dramatically changed in the past year. Especially with the lying.

For example she claims that she has Chase read the comments first then approve them so she doesn’t have to see the negative comments but we are now seeing her respond to these unseen by her negative comments more and more on her Instagram and even YouTube channel. So which is it? Does she really not see them or is she just trying to be like Meg in saying that their husbands do this and they go unseen. So many YouTube channels are lying and being caught in their lies and eventually they’ll get tired of being called out for it. It’s a shame because I do feel this channel had a lot of potential when it first started to circulate but now it’s a copy of every other person moving four pieces of furniture around all day for the sake of content and money for luxury bags they claim are for giveaways.

Thank you. I have critiqued and criticized her in the past, but I guess I wasn't harsh enough for some people. As much as I've liked watching her, I think she's made some marketing mistakes (the LV bag situation) and needed to try new things.

I also agree about the negative comments. I don't see them under her videos. Unless I missed them, Chase quickly deletes them, or they have a filter on comments, I've yet to see a negative comment under her videos. Her dms and email inbox may be a totally different story,.

Which is okay for her to be honest about. It's not always sunshine and daisies. They did get asked an inappropriate question in a Q&A video ( I assume it was sexual) and she shut it down. Those comments are what she can say, "You guys have to cut it out or you'll be blocked/reported, etc".

I think she's afraid of coming off as a bitch, but being real doesn't always mean "bitchy".

Yes we did suggest she giveaway gift cards for reaching 80k. This was recent so she reads here, but it would be silly to believe she hasn't all along.

Which is why I think she's actually upset. She can't control what's said here like on her Instagram or Youtube channel. We can't be persuaded or policed. And the bigger her channel gets, the more exposed she is to criticism. It's not what she expected, but it comes with the job.

That's why I could not be a YouTuber exposing my personal life/home. You have to have thick skin and be slightly narcissistic to handle all the negative & positive comments on a daily basis.

Exactly! She likes dangling things in front of her subs like they are sad little puppies. Well, applause to her! Her subs are pathetic for not seeing through this. Her "community" deserves eachother.

I have never participated in a YT giveaway, but appreciate the YouTubers that do legitimate fair giveaways. It is truly thoughtful. This snake of a human dangled the bait and then her gluttony took over and she couldn't part with the stupid bag. I'd frankly be embarrassed to be her. Who cares about the money?! What about integrity and keeping your word? Her subs put more value on her narcissistic ways than honesty.

And yes, we can talk about integrity while being a on a trash forum, but when it comes down to it, most of us are here to trash what is the evil side of "having followers".

Regardless of if she reads here or there or any other forum the fact of the matter is is that she claims not to then speaks out of the other side of her mouth and addresses the things she claims to not read. Either own up to it and be honest or just don’t address it at all because as we see on this forum there’s hundreds of threads on people and something tells me there aren’t many that sit and address it on social media the way she does and has after claiming to know nothing about it.

I think she is quickly becoming irrelevant. I said this is another thread but YouTube is becoming real housewives and everyone who doesn’t fit the rich girl mold with a ton of toddlers and all the luxuries of life is going to fall by the wayside. She just doesn’t appeal to many people honestly. They live in a fairly modest house, one grown kid, not much going on AT ALL. Homegirl can’t wait to leave her vacation. She is just odd.

The funny thing about this is that although I do have a career outside of the home I can relate to her in other ways such as only having one child. So the youtube luxury lifestyle channels like t dot beaston as her husband says doesn’t really apply or appeal to me. Someone like Ashley would except for the fact that she’s dishonest with so much to her subscribers. I also don’t like the fact that she uses her faith and religion in a lot of videos and then turns around and does the very same thing the Bible tells you not to be which is vain. There was a huge part of me that sort of fell in love with her all over again when she did the car chat video and spoke about God loving everyone and that it’s been weighing on her heart to tell people that. But then the very next video she spoke on keeping the bag and something just made my gut instinct tell me that video was put out so people would relish on it rather than focus negatively on her decision to keep the purse. This is an assumption of mine but I still can’t shake it.

I can't stand it!! JUSTIN HICKMAN?! Wow. I mean come on! I thought Chase was the one doing the wheeling and dealing over there in the Nelson household. He can't handle it? I guess not, since he has to work full time, come home and edit videos for the wifey, post on instagram, and drive her to Ross and Olive Garden. She's getting too big for her britches. I can't say that I don't know how she got so many viewers because I subscribed to her after watching a cleaning video and I really liked her. I liked how she would be cleaning and then talk to the camera (instead of a voiceover) to tell us what she was using or whatever. It was different and I liked it. If she had stuck to the cleaning videos which is clearly what made her channel successful in the first place she wouldn't have as much negativity, I think, as she gets now. It's her holier than thou attitude that people can't stand.

I'm also starting to feel like she is taking her viewers for granted. There's a ton of cleaning channels on youtube and and every one of her viewers could just as easily watch a different one instead of wasting time on hers. She acts like she's got so many that she can do whatever she wants and it's ok because she'll always have viewers. WRONG! As fast as her channel grew is as fast as it could go down. I totally agree with you. Her first few videos were nice and relaxing and her voice if you listen to it, sounds so different then now. Her whole facade has changed and she believes she is the next Snooki with her own reality show. She approves comments before they are public and she only approves the comments that are praising her and bowing down to her. She can't handle negativity or someone referring an easier way to do something, she deletes those because you know, she is the expert in everything. I suggested a video idea to Ashley once on Instagram and she had a whole list of reasons why it wasnt something she could do. I dont think she's ever going to venture far out of cleaning or DITL. She's already been showing what she has bought for Savannah to teach herself this fall.

Yes, I have the same stove as her and I had seen one of her videos (which I have never seen her use it again afterwards) but she was using a product on her glass top, cleaning it and then squirting another cleaner on it and then using a drill with a scrubber on it to get the tough spots out as she said. I commented (before she started approving comments) that I had the same exact stove and that you can spray Method Degreaser on it and let it sit for five minutes and then use a cloth to wipe it right off. She said that it wouldn't work on HER stove. I was thinking ok, we have the SAME stove and it works on mine.lol I guess she had the special stove model :0 and those E cloths she keeps pushing, the microfiber one's at WM work just as good.

Yes that's exactly my point. One prime example is that Chase let a comment slip by saying "the curtains are a little wrinkled" so Ashley made a point in the next video to call out the comment AND steam the curtain. They are not negative, she just takes everything personally if it's not a comment kissing her dirty feet. And she didn't always police her comments so hard. Before the fiasco earlier this year with family channels, she wasnt as bad about it.

First time poster. I couldn’t resist after seeing her instagram story this morning. I used to love Ashely’s channel. She was so down to earth, relatable, and sweet! I would comment or dm her and we would have conversations. Since time as gone on I have noticed a huge change in her as a person. No longer responds to comments other than a heart. This morning when I went on Instagram and saw the picture she posted of the t-shirt about the haters made me unsubscribe! That was very immature and she seems butt hurt because people disagree with her dumb gift card giveaway. It’s really sad to see someone change so much in a years time of making money. I'm sure the egift card was not from her personally but from a sponsor. No woman in real life cleans her home in full hair and makeup and in jeans and sandals. By the time I get through loading my dishwasher I am soaking from sweat. She bought an out dated LV speedy that not too many people I know even carry anymore and because she couldn't bribe people to subscribe she had a Jesus moment to keep it for herself. lol I guess her church or momma never taught her " Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will NEVER hurt me". Jessie with Jessie on the Go and Missy from the Welder's wife, are the only two authentic yt's. and all the ads in Ashley's videos are so cringe worthy. She thinks her job on youtube is hard, she should change places with me and work 12 hour shifts saving lives!!!
