What is up with the plates? They always use throw aways... Too lazy to do the dishes?

I was just coming to say the same.. It seems to be common in Mormon familiesjustpassingbytosee wrote:What is up with the plates? They always use throw aways... Too lazy to do the dishes?

In the U.K. single use items such as plates and cups are discouraged, we have a big campaign for reusable coffee cups at the moment.
Although I don’t have school age children, I believe a lunch box like that would initiate a letter home to the parent requesting healthier food.

The way she makes hazyl a living doll is going to get her bullied, imagine at 13 matching dresses with your mommy or being known on YT as 'Princess Hazy' most kiddos would be mortified. I get the girly vibe from Brex too but it could be to get his mom's attention, Mindy seemed so peeved hd wanted to be a matching deer and the princess didn't.
Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
She really is so concerned with how she looks and how people perceive her. The vlog the other day she mentioned 2-3 times “guys, I didn’t even get ready today!” Who cares? And insta stories from yesterday at lunch and again at dinner “apparently I look sooo tired to everyone.” And somewhere in the mix she had to tell everyone she got a facial and can’t wear make up for 2 days.
WE DON’T CARE. Quit blabbering about yourself or better yet just keep your face off camera?! Pretty sure she could have just posted a group photo from the lunch that said “we went out to lunch with friends!” If it’s so important to post such useless info. We don’t need a close up of you explaining it then showing everyone at your table. Same with dinner. She didn’t have to put her face on camera to explain why she’s tired. She could have just showed the video of the food with a voice over of what she did and posted. No one asks to see her face every time.

I don't know if it's common with Mormons or just common with Youtubers and so many are Mormon. It seems that the bigger they get, the more they complain about how "busy" they are, even with both parents home. And very few seem to care about the future or carbon footprints. Greed, the moment, and views seem to be what matter.spoiled2bits wrote:I was just coming to say the same.. It seems to be common in Mormon familiesjustpassingbytosee wrote:What is up with the plates? If I was a member of their church, I really wouldn't want them representing me.

She’s so strange. She’s so focused on looks yet has disgusting greasy hair in a bun more days than not. She might also just be making those comments for compliments. She’s totally the type to say all sorts of negative stuff about herself in hopes that people would tell her how great she looks.Pufflepup wrote:She really is so concerned with how she looks and how people perceive her. Does anyone know if they have health insurance? I mean they don't have an employer sponsored plan and neither does the Phillips Fambam (their eating habits/food choices are disgusting worse that TIHWB); their kids are always getting hurt, sick or full of holes in their teeth. Just wondering how they afford the medical bills and/or medical premiums by only depending on YT for income.

You can get health insurance with our having an employer sponsored plan. I have health care through the Affordable care act where I pay monthly for blue shield blue cross insurance.Somewhere Warm wrote:Does anyone know if they have health insurance? You can have private insurance.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they have the same Christian ministries insurance as April and Davey.Somewhere Warm wrote:Does anyone know if they have health insurance? Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Yikes that thanksgiving shopping haul all garbage and processed, extremely low quality foods. Cool Whip? Get Truwhip. That turkey is super super low equality - I would say organic (they have the $ to afford it). That betty crocker frosting YIKES (it's GMO made with cheap oil, artificial food coloring and preservatives) She has never heard of Simple Mills or Miss Jones baking?
With the $$$$ they are making there is no excuse to why they are buying cheap, low quality foods. They should be buying grass feed meats - organic fruits/vegs (most so those are the "dirty" list). Why doesn't she shop at Whole Foods or Thrive Market? I would never give my kids/buy the things the Binghams do for my kids. It's horrible for their body.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
She won't buy organic fruits and vegetables because she barely buys any of either to begin with. She didn't eat vegetables growing up, and "I turned out just fine". She doesn't even give her kids a chance to try things and see if they like them! I loathe bell peppers, but I let my kids try them! My son used to take baby bell peppers for a snack in his lunches. And those Uncrustables? Gross! Who doesn't have time to make a PBJ? Krew and Ryler can make their own sandwiches if there's a huge time crunch in the morning. Or get whole wheat tortillas and let them make wraps!
She is such an awful parent in this one way. There are other things she and Branden do that I disagree with (putting their minor children on the internet is the biggest issue I have) but the way they feed their children is just wrong.

Just like me "turned out fine" Growing up in the 90s my parents gave my tons of garbage food - I used to drink soda, snapple, sugar cereal etc(those days people don't even any better - the internet was just starting out)lmmomSD wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:56 pm She won't buy organic fruits and vegetables because she barely buys any of either to begin with. Today I'm healthy as a bell being an adult - but over the past 5-10 years I've been eating much healthier - Haven't had soda in a decade, cut down on the sugar, eats tons of vegs and fruits etc. Thanks to the power of the internet - I can do research on foods and be much more aware of the garbage ingredients companies put in their foods and avoid them. No reason why Mindy cannot do this. Doesn't matter if you turn out fine - it's the principle of it - why are you supporting these garbage foods? Avoid them. There is SOOOOO much great food out there.

That’s exactly it. Mindy has the ability to do better but chooses not to. It’s baffling. Just because she turned out fine doesn’t mean she should raise her children that way. Yet here she is. Maybe her children won’t turn out fine. And then what Mindy?blessedunrest wrote:Just like me "turned out fine" Growing up in the 90s my parents gave my tons of garbage food - I used to drink soda, snapple, sugar cereal etc(those days people don't even any better - the internet was just starting out)lmmomSD wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 8:56 pm She won't buy organic fruits and vegetables because she barely buys any of either to begin with. Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
They're already not "fine". The number of cavities Hazy has had is not acceptable. And they act like it's no big deal, and as though they are almost proud of it. "Look at our little savage daughter with 6 cavities!"
I don't understand at all how so many vloggers show themselves feeding their kids junk, not using safety gear, and just acting as though it's 1950 and they don't know any better. Yeah, I didn't wear helmets growing up, but my kids do. And I do now as well. When you know better, you do better. Extended rear facing car seats weren't available when my kids were little, but if I was responsible for a small child now, I would be doing extended rear facing for sure.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
They are _willfully_ ignorant. Bonnie Hoellein pushes back when people say she should have her kids wear safety gear. She says things like "we never wore helmets, and we're fine" and crap about how they are raising "tough boys".
They're not ignorant, or if they are it's on purpose. The information is out there.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
He seriously uploaded a 3 hour video of their Hawaii videos. If anyone wanted to watch the Hawaii vlogs at once, I’m pretty sure they could just watch them one after the other. No one is going to sit for 3 hours in one sitting to watch that anyway.
I could see a recap video of all their favorite parts of the trip but a 3 hour movie!?
Side note: I don’t follow the Gardner’s at all but I’m curious how they feel with the roles reversed. The Binghams seemed to always “look up” and aspire to have such a huge following and now they have 200k more than the Gardner’s.
