In the house tour video rudy says that the boys and girls have to be separated. Now why I have know idea.rulatows000 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 9:04 am Did they ever explain why Chad and Russell are sleeping in the basement anyways? Is it because Ruby had to take the upstairs rooms for her failed clothing brand, her office, her life coaching room, or whatever else she had to have her rooms for? If they didn't have enough rooms upstairs I could see it, but if she really did put her kids in the basement so that she could have the upstairs rooms that's just plain selfish. Yes, it's a finished basement and the rooms look nice, but if I had kids I'd want them all on the same floor as me. There's just too many risks in the basement of flooding, fire, etc. Chad has probably already been exposed to mold since his room was already flooded before because Ruby left the water running.
And, seriously, when are they going to get those kids bedframes???? Chad's mattress is probably ruined and going to get moldy since it got soaked from being on the floor. You'd CPS would've said something to them about all the kids having mattresses on the floor. Did all of Chad's books and things get ruined, too, since he has no bookshelves?

I have a theory that the "issue" with Chad was about m***********. This would explain her anger towards his attitude, they taking the door off his room, Russel getting the bigger room (with a bathroom), him being forced to sleep uncomfortably on a bean bag, no access to Internet. This is a harsh topic on the Mormon community and very reproachable by the everyone (parents, family, bishops etc).

I've said that before. And if it's true, it's just wrong. But it's a "sin" in the eyes of the church, and they have to be the most devout and show it off.emlyx wrote:I have a theory that the "issue" with Chad was about m***********. Glad Ruby got a haircut, her long hair seriously grossed me out and she just looked like a wannabe rich young cool Utah mom with it. No mask for the hair stylist sure is an interesting choice..
Funny how she tries to be mysterious about the kids' schooling and "changes coming", she does this a lot where we already know about something but then she suddenly tries to act like it's a big secret (like Ruby Do). Does she realize her kids have already spilled the beans on possibly not going to the private school? She probably doesn't even watch her videos after the editor gets done with them.

I think there's serious stuff going on with Chad. They didn't pay to have him sent away for no reason. I find it hard to believe it's school-related either. Does she separate the boys from the girls sleeping arrangements for a reason? Why did she take the door off his bedroom and bathroom? Something's going on they're not telling us. I just hope the girls are safe there. Of course, I could be completely wrong and mom and dad are just crazy. I hope that's the case.emlyx wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:24 am I have a theory that the "issue" with Chad was about m***********. Honestly I think they're just that insane. Epically overreacting to completely normal sex-related things is par for the course with parents like this. Removing access to electronics, reduction in privacy, separating boys and girls as much as possible, and acting like professional help is needed to combat normal urges are all common things in households this religious.ba1006 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 5:37 amI think there's serious stuff going on with Chad. Agreed. I still wish someone whose opinion she values would tell her as you age, smaller brows are better. Her's a WAY TO BOLD, they just keep getting bigger and bigger, it is seriously all you notice on her face, and she does have beautiful blue eyes.

Ruby is treading very carefully right now-I wonder if she will keep that up. Putting the app on the ipad the kids wanted, going on a picnic with the kids, etc. At the end, the life coach speech started coming out again. I think Ruby is still doing the classes but didn't bring it up during the controversy. The life coach stuff was coming up in the reaction vlogs.

That's right. Human instincts, adolescence fase... They can supress his feelings all they want or try to make him act some way, but in the end of the day, every person has its own mind and body. Re: 8 Passengers: Emotional Abuse Galore & Making Kids Sleep on The Floor | Part 17
I can't speak on the Mormon church's view of "self abuse" nowadays, but in the early 70s they considered it sinful. A friend of mine who was in her late-20s was dating a Mormon guy in his early 30s and they started talking about getting married. He wanted a temple marriage which meant she would have to convert, get baptized, then wait the required waiting time (A year IIRC) before she qualified for a temple recommend, so she started taking instruction from a couple of elders, who despite their title were younger than she was (18-19 years old). Things were going fine for awhile, then the subject of "self abuse" came up and they outright asked her if did this. Some previous questions had been mildly intrusive, but this in her mind was going too far. She felt like it was a younger brother asking her about her very private sexual behaviors and such things were none of their business and bluntly told them so. They tried to explain that their teachings require that they forgo "self abuse" and if she became a member she was expected to do the same. She wasn't having this, politely told them that she had changed her mind and didn't wish to receive anymore instruction or to convert.emlyx wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:24 am I have a theory that the "issue" with Chad was about m***********. When she told her boyfriend that she had ended the instruction sessions and why, he was really upset with her and asked why she just didn't lie to the elders and say she'd follow the church's teaching regarding this. They got into a huge fight and she broke up with him because he just couldn't understand why she was so upset about being questioned by a couple of teenagers about something so personal & private.

While we're on the subject and despite Ruby declaring more than once that she's a faithful LDS member, she and her family completely ignore her own church's request for all members in Utah to wear face masks in public to slow the spread of Covid-19. I don't know what religion Ruby's hairdresser is, but she wasn't wearing a face mask and I doubt Ruby was wearing a face mask before and after the hair cut. Then the trip to the store then a park, again no face masks. Hypocrital Ruby is only faithful when it's convenient for her.

I find anyone who constantly talks about their religion as the Griffiths do are not actually that faithful. They are the do as I say and not as I do type people.Josette wrote:https://www.deseret.com/faith/2020/7/10 ... ts-in-utah

Has anyone seen Ruby's instagram this evening? Chad is setting off fireworks on the street outside their house and they're letting the puppy run around off leash. He even ran right up to a firework right after it was set off. I am so mad at them. They're yelling his name and laughing. That poor pup could get very seriously injured.
He's obviously just another part of their showcase and they should not own a dog.

How does Ruby get to have a nice bedroom she calls a sanctuary, with all her nice things, and laugh about her own shopping addiction. But refuses to provide the very basic bedroom furniture like a bedframe and drawers/shelves.
AND WHY TF whenever these Griffiths’ say they want to renovate somewhere in their house, a magical disaster happens and the insurance helps them do so for a fraction of the price. It doesn’t surprise me but also blows my mind that this happens to Ruby, Bonnie and Ellie allllll the time.

I know Ellie had a flood in her basement, but I did not realize they did a remodel and what happened to Bonnie’s house. I always thought Ruby was the one who had insurance for upgrades. Rewarded for what she punished her kids for doing.Addicted2vlogs wrote:How does Ruby get to have a nice bedroom she calls a sanctuary, with all her nice things, and laugh about her own shopping addiction. Im willing to guess Ruby knew very well that she can flood the basement. She’s done it before when leaving the water going when they first moved in, and I’m guessing she wanted new carpets from the start so why not? She’s a disgusting human.Addicted2vlogs wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 10:27 pm How does Ruby get to have a nice bedroom she calls a sanctuary, with all her nice things, and laugh about her own shopping addiction. They are horrible pet owners. They were to Nolly.krcmum62 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 8:46 pm Has anyone seen Ruby's instagram this evening? They were just screaming. None of them useless poor excuses of human beings had the decency to run and get him.
I don’t know why they got another dog. I thought Ruby was glad not to have a dog anymore. She barely paid Nolly any attention.
And I fear the same fate awaits Dwight. Right now he’s cute because he is a puppy. Still they neglect him, by letting him come to harm or potentially come to harm.
But in a year... I think we won’t be seeing much of him.
Maybe one of the kids realizes this and takes care of him as he grows into and adult and an old dog.
