I dont get why she seems to think she knows it all when it comes to having the baby and what shes going to need afterwards. Drives me crazy.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay
God she really pisses me off. She is not concerned for him, at all. HER worries are Pit and C-Sections.Trust me,Missy, those are the least of your worries.I really think her going past 39 weeks is a huge, huge mistake. She thinks her twice a week NST's ensure babies safety, sorry, they don't. Infact, I know many women who had an nst, went home, and lost baby just mere hours later, for no reason other then just being in too long.
She needs to give up her dreams of this fantasy perfect natural birth surrounded by butterflies and rainbows, and do what's best for Oliver.Whether that includes Pit or C-Sections or both.

TOTALLY AGREE! i think she has this idea in her head that birth will so easy and just everything will be perfect, she needs a reality check. Things during labor can go down hill VERY quickly, she needs to prepare herself that her birth might not go according to her "plan" A csection and the fact pitcion may need to be used should really be the least of her worries! I just dont understand how she could have had two previous looses and just be so relaxed. A friend of mine just gave birth to her third baby after having suffered a full term stillbirth and miscarriage, and her drs did not allow her to go past 37 wks. I think missy has really just gotten comfortable because she has gotten past the point of viability, but there is never a gaurtnee that something tragic will not happen! my friend had an NST the day before she went into labor and everything was fine and just hours later her daughter had passed away. NST ARE IN NO WAY a promise that your baby is okay! I think shes a fool for denying constant fetal monitoring during labor!

I lost my full term boy during labor, literally he died 15 mere minutes before he was born, and I was even monitored. They mixed up the heartbeats and had no idea untill he was born.
Nothing will prepare you to bury a full term baby,a 20 week while still horrible and tragic,is not the same. I wish she'd take this more seriously.
I'm so sorry for your friends loss It's unimaginable. My doctor wants to induce at 39 weeks, but I want 38. (last time I was induced at "39 weeks" and I was actually 41 weeks, with gestational diabetes, which caused his death).

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay
Her little weight chart ends at 37 weeks, I think she's really expecting him to come this week.
I speak the truth, if that makes me a bitch then so be it.

Because they probably read here. When she first talked about her contractions she said they were very painful then they were no big deal. Also little stuff that brian says I can tell they read here.MissRozzy wrote:I think starsocks is Missy, Bryan or family haha.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay
It doesnt seem like shes "in labor", it seems as though baby is coming, but im quite worried and praying for them. It seems like a complication may have arose.. since the fb update said csection or induction. Hope all if going well for them
