Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
Was anyone else really NOT pleased and bit disgusted with the Twerkshop?! OH my goodness I wanted to puke. ANDDDDDDDD WHITE couch with a dog and toddler soon to have a second child? They are crazy! Plus why did they need a new couch? I thought they bought the last set a year ago? and not to mention only donating $100 to the charity, but buying other crap they really don't need. I really hope they have given their old set to a family in need.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
umm... WTH was that intro on the Sign from God (dumb title) video? And then turns out to be a dumb promo. In my opinion it was inappropriate considering that most of their fans are like 10-15 years old.
And that white couch is UGLY! Why anyone in their right mind would buy white couches with a dog, toddler, and trying to have more children is beyond me. This will just be an excuse to buy new couches in another year. Her reasoning was dumb and not even really a defense. Just another, "I did it because i wanted to and who cares what anyone thinks."
EDIT: I realize Jamiecrickets posted almost this exact post but... o well

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
The "Twerkshop" was dumb. How old are they again? (Rhetorical question)
The power coming back on was not "a sign from God." Ugh. As an Agnostic stuff like that bugs me (no offense meant to anyone here).
The goal on GFM is now $20,000.

I'm an atheist, and this time of year is crap for watching youtubers. I'm a mom of three, and I like family youtubers, but they're all religious.jodilo88 wrote:The "Twerkshop" was dumb. How old are they again? (Rhetorical question)

Maybe I should start my own vlog to represent the agnostic and atheist families out there. Show the world we can be wholesome, happy families with good values too!

The twerkshop seemed like a sponsored video to me.

I liked it. Not enough to pay for it. But if it was free, I'd post that shite all over my facebook lolsmellycat801 wrote:That Twerkshop was awful. Not cute, not funny.

They have added a lot more rewards ... I can honestly see this turning into a disaster, I doubt they are going to be able to fer full do them all. There excuse will be we are "So Busy".
It will be the horse ranch saga all over again, except it will be the people who donated that miss out.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
They need a gate around their tree? How about watching your fucking child for once.
Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
Do you have kids? A child that age will go back again-and- again -------over and over. Why stress yourself out for a tree that will be up for a limited time? Teaching them not to touch stuff in general I get..but something that will only be up until the end of the month? Eh. They annoy me, but it makes sense to gate it off with a toddler that age. If he was were older I would think it was lazy, but he's really young and they are so persistent at that age.cats-or-die wrote:They need a gate around their tree? Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
I fully agree, I have a son 2 weeks younger than Ollie and he won't let up and keeps touching our tree, at that age they just won't listen sometimes, especially when it comes to the shiny and sparkley things. We don't have the luxury of a gate though so will just have to keep watching him. I might just move the lower ornaments up!Inkling wrote:Do you have kids? Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
I don't have kids, but I've been a full time nanny for five years, and currently I have children Ollie's exact age. She loves to go for the tree. The moment she begins reaching for an ornament, I say something, and she typically stops. I just keep her away from it most times. The difference is she never leaves my sight. I manage her and three other kids and I do just fine. So don't ask me if I "have kids". I know what it takes to bring up and raise a child, and fine, they can gate their tree. Not even what annoyed me. It was the way they went about it. Remember when they wouldn't even gate off the stairs? An actual serious safety hazard? But they'll run out and buy a gate for a Christmas tree. It's funny to me. All I meant was keep an eye on your kid - instead of locking yourself in another room to film - and the tree won't be such an issue.Inkling wrote:Do you have kids? I have three boys four and under and I will use a gate until they don't mess with the tree. There's nothing wrong with using a gate.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay Part 14
Clearly. I never claimed it was. But when you raise a kid from birth, every day, all day - you get a pretty damn good feel for it.ohaudrey wrote:Being a nanny is not the same as a parent
My original post was not dissing you if you have a gate around your tree - fine. ALL I MEANT WAS: B&M couldn't be bothered to gate their stairs, yet are more than willing to run out and gate the tree. Their priorities are skewed. THATS IT. And you have all bashed them for "not paying enough attention to their kid" and thats ALL I MEANT. Was if they paid closer attention, the gate wouldn't be SO DIER.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my gate discussion. LOL. I so did not mean to start a huge controversial thing here! (:
