Re: The Lindquists
Good lord, she just commented on her most recent Instagram post that she’ll be doing a “what’s on my registry” video or post in a few weeks.
What the actual fuck?! Just yesterday she was spewing that it wasn’t a registry, it was a personal shopping list. This woman is out to lunch!
Elle, get the fuck over yourself!!!!!! And since we know you read here, why the hell have you not congratulated Randy and Anna on their baby?? Can’t share the spotlight.... narcissist!

Re: The Lindquists
She’s so worried about keeping up with the Joneses that she doesn’t think about things like giving back. She’s become greedy and wants all the fame, stuff, and money. I love the idea of gifting the baby box to a mom I need. I would SO respect her for that. But it’s all about HER.

Can we all start posting more on her videos and call her out on everything we talk about here. All her comments still seem to be filled with devoted supporters

Well we knew that whole “the registry was just a list of items i want to buy for myself” excuse was total bullshit.Refrigerator_Light wrote:Good lord, she just commented on her most recent Instagram post that she’ll be doing a “what’s on my registry” video or post in a few weeks.

I am sick of looking at her weird body and her weird glasses and her weird hair and her weird eyebrows and I sure as hell don’t want to watch her caressing her stomach for next six months. Eiw, I don’t care about where you got your ugly boring clothes either.

Re: The Lindquists
Did anyone here actually see her registry.. most people were commenting that its a girl but a few people that saw her scan video said they can tell its a boy.

What if she contrived the whole thing hahaPamomma8422 wrote:Did anyone here actually see her registry.. most people were commenting that its a girl but a few people that saw her scan video said they can tell its a boy.

Just looking at the scan is inaccurate, especially to the untrained eye. I didn’t watch cause I’m sick of her click baitPamomma8422 wrote:Did anyone here actually see her registry.. most people were commenting that its a girl but a few people that saw her scan video said they can tell its a boy.
Even to a trained sonographer, they can’t be 100%.
I will absolutely DIE if it comes out a boy ahahahaha

Re: The Lindquists
The fact she even mentioned that she could have vlogged the urgent care visit for views speaks volumes. It has become a pathology. What kind of a person thinks this way? I wonder if the real reason she didn't was actually Dan. I could see him objecting. Pretty sure it would be embarrassing if his friends, colleagues, or family were to see it--showing the lengths his wife will go to fully exploit her family/pregnancy.SuperchicDeadpool wrote:She's saying, "That's not a knife...THAT'S a knife!" but in the worst, most condescending way possible. And i understand why she does it. But the fact that she denys making click bait titles to gain views is what gets me!!!

Re: The Lindquists
How much baby stuff could she need at ALL if it’s a boy? Clothes from an exclusive expensive baby clothes boutique especially?
What I read was comments from people who said she was registered for girl specific type items.
And the way she absolutely LOST HER MIND when someone mentioned girl in the comments tells me all I needed to know.
I’m glad her rampant greed bit her in the ass. Why in heavens name was she sitting online for god knows how long carefully selecting overpriced outfits for little Elle Junior when she could have been using that same time to inform Dan’s parents or her dad?
It is utterly absurd that she wants to blame anyone for “ruining the surprise” but herself. Her temper tantrum totally reminds me of the crazy way she acted the day she broke her toilet. Dummy.

Re: The Lindquists
I don't understand why Elle chooses to emulate some of the worst vloggers instead of aspiring to be better than they are. Ellie & Jared, Bonnie, Kyra...these are not people she should look up to as role models. It just baffles me because she has more life experience and should be much more mature than some of these people, but can't seem to think for herself.

Re: The Lindquists
Hi everyone. I've been lurking here for a few months and finally decided to jump on in. I started watching Elle around when she flooded her house. I probably screamed "Go shut off your water" 3 times while watching that.
I think I was actually looking up sleep training and found her videos on that. I did not find them helpful as I think she just gave up breastfeeding early on hence she was able to sleep train a baby so young. But I did like most of her content so I kept watching her.
I think I started noticing her fakeness when ad after ad came along, the vacations every month and backhanded compliments to her husband. Totally not relatable which she overly wants to be and exagerrates it. I do think I would love her videos more if she would just take criticism well or just forget about having the perfect aesthetic in everything she posts. So is she relatable mom or perfect life instagram mom? You can 't be both.
The latest instagram post brought me here. I really dont care much for her humble brag on how expensive her whole outfit is

She actually went back and deleted any comments from people saying the outfit was expensive! She wants to brag but also doesn’t want anyone commenting in a negative way that it’s pricey. Eyeroll. Pick a lane, Elle.Seriouslysweetie wrote:Hi everyone. I've been lurking here for a few months and finally decided to jump on in. I started watching Elle around when she flooded her house. Re: The Lindquists
LOL she buys underwear from Walmart because she “doesn’t want to spend a millon dollars”... and then posts an outfit with clothes from Aritzia, Gap and Lululemon... I’m confused

Then she rebought the Calvin Klein and showed them with the $20/pair tags and said they were “super affordable”.
A weeks worth of underwear for $140? Not affordable.
Re: The Lindquists
This is EXACTLY the problem. She cannot seem to take criticism with grace. Most people do not like criticism but it is how one handles it that matters. She just seems to shut people down or block them. That is ridiculous...she is pushing 40 not a tween! Every now and then a critical comment sneaks through(like about clickbaiting) and usually gets a bunch of likes. This could be a teachable moment for her if she allowed viewer feedback. Maybe she only wants crazy obsessive fans who believes she can do no wrong. She actually went back and deleted any comments from people saying the outfit was expensive! Re: The Lindquists
Even a neutral suggestion gets a very defensive reply and eventually gets deleted. I would like to see her take minor criticism and air it out on her videos and genuiely ask what the viewers think without making a big deal about it. We all know these things bother her so if she wants to be really be relatable then it should be discussed not shut down. I think she is the epitome of an instagram influencer but that doesn 't bring in the dough to support her lifestyle.Skinnie wrote:This is EXACTLY the problem. One could argue: budgets are relative.
HOWEVER, KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE!!! I bet most people who are watching her are young families with a lack of expendable cash. Most viewer households likely do not have the combined income of a vet and youtuber with so many sponsorships. So how could she remedy this? Easy. Show both. Low end AND high end outfits, make-up, skincare, decor etc. She just does not seem to get it. I am sure she gets this type of feedback often i.e., regarding the essential oils she uses, the fridge promo, spa getaways/treatments, LV bag etc. etc. She just ignores it. I believe she was called out en masse for her fall/halloween decor as she said how she only wants quality things and not 'cheap dollar store crap'...the problem is that many of her viewers can only afford to purchase seasonal decor from discount stores. She has also made some pretty ignorant comments associated with homeless people (and apologized)--so she likely does have some underlying disdain for those who are poor/experiencing poverty.
If she doesn't adjust her tone, she may end up alienating her audience and become totally unrelatable.
Oh, and she should STOP with the minimalist narrative.

Re: The Lindquists
Or even that time she had a shit show meltdown about what we say here. How about instead of using it as a way to be offended (remember she went live on IG and listed the things we said in the most shocked and offended “CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?” way possible) she COULD use it as a way to connect with her audience and grow.
“hey viewers, here are some issues people have brought up recently. I want this channel to be helpful for viewers, so what do you think? How can I improve and make it a better experience for you? Would 1 ad per week be better than 2, or so you guys not care?” Etc. Not that hard.

Re: The Lindquists
I wonder if she has ever considered that perhaps this forum exists because she will not allow it to happen in her comment section. Viewers should be allowed to discuss the content with one another. Since she shuts it down on her channel, people come here. I think she is VERY controlling and has a hard time accepting opinions that do not align with her own.TeachIT wrote:Or even that time she had a shit show meltdown about what we say here.
