The family is only missing 3K to reach their goal, why not just cover the rest? Oh that’s right, a horse and brand new entertainment center was more important. I might sound like a grinch but come on, they were so heartbroken the other day but can’t help the family with the rest of the costs?... idk rubs me the wrong way.

I guess at least they’re tweeting it out to their large audience. Hopefully the family will reach their goal soon, i think they can’t hold their funetal until they reach the goal right?? The money from go fund me is going to the funeral & medical costs but you can’t cash it out until your goal is met...
Go fund me isn't like Kickstarter. You can get the funds even if the goal isn't met.

I think it's like a kennel for horses or something? Like I said, I have no experience.

IT WON'T EVEN BE LIVING AT THEIR HOUSE!!!! Why would they get a horse if they don't have any space for it?

These people confuse me.

Boarding a horse at a private barn is pretty common, as well as the animal passing a vet check prior to finalizing the purchase and money changing hands. So it would be normal to say she want 100% sure until after the vet check. Horses are pets but they're also a commodity that are bought and sold kind of like a cars a lot of the time (it is what it is).

Also the way that horse was acting and as sloppy a rider as Missy is. They are going to be dumping some cash into more lessons for Missy and training for the horse. I was cringing so hard when she basically said she was a timid rider because it's always been someone else's horse and she would be afraid to assert herself because it wasn't HER horse. That is such baloney.

The reality is that she is an inexperienced rider and if she starts pushing this horse around and doesn't know what she's doing she's going to get hurt.

Also I was shocked that they went with the cheapo synthetic saddle. Those things suck and a leather saddle will almost always be more flexible and comfortable for the horse and rider.

Anyway.... I own horses so I'm having a field day with this..I wish I could be a fly on the wall at her barn.

I love how Suzanne had to approve of the horse first ! This horse will keep her occupied for a month or two. Then she will get bored of it and start trying to have another baby. Then she will have a great excuse to get rid of the horse, because she cant ride while pregnant.

I really hope she keeps boarding the horse. They don't really have (from what I have seen) a good area for a horse, and horses are herd animals so they would need at least two. Obviously, they can build a barn, but Missy is just such an idiot and horses require a lot of care.
I can't believe her "I'm so experienced" crap. I would have so much more respect for her if she said she'd always loved horses but never really had much experience, and wanted to learn, than all this BS she is spewing. But no, she has to _say_ she is an expert, just "out of practice". I can't bear to watch. I hope she doesn't ruin this horse. Does anyone know how old he is? At least he's a gelding, right? She wasn't stupid enough to buy a stallion? And we know that if she does something stupid and gets hurt, it's going to be the horse's fault. What she should have is an older, bomb-proof gelding. And she should have leased. It's not always easy to sell a horse, and someday, their money is going to run out.
Arrrrgh. These two just make me crazy.

I feel like it would be more like having the boys grow up with Nacho if they actually PLANNED for the horse to live with them! You know where they put the zipline? You could put a stable there! I'm not saying it's a GOOD spot, but a spot nonetheless.

I'm not ignoring the responses to my post, just the fact that they have the space and the money is what's bothering me.

i hate when a majority of youtubers cover sad topics. the content is usually devastating and heartbreaking, but the way it is edited takes away from it.

it's probably because i'm a heartless bitch. or maybe i'm desensitized to youtuber heartbreak videos. it always feels like these guys are capitalizing on other people's pain for their own profit, and i can't help but feel like they are not sad over it. i don't know how to explain it, it's like a combination of things in the video that makes me question the content. i mean, the posed screencap and clickbait title in all lowercase letters (and they're heartbroken enough to add their logo to the screencap too). they have sad music playing during the entire video that kind of cheapens everything imho. they added tags to get more views. they constantly refer back to the videoin the video after that, not specifically saying what happened but urging viewers to watch the video from the other day. other than telling people to watch the previous video, they didn't bring it up again. like they just moved on with their lives, ate some chocolate, even though it was a big enough topic to devote an entire video to it. i don't know if that makes any sense. it feels like a sponsored video where they bring it up one time, rake in the money, and never speak of it again.

overall though, they did do a good job handling the situation despite the music in the blog (not the end song in tribute to henry) and such. the ending was really sweet. i think raw videos are just the best for this type of situation--minimal editing, no music. ect. they talked a lot about themselves, but it's a pass because they did mention it and i think they are just trying to work out how they should be feeling. i think in any situation like this, the best thing youtubers can do is quietly offer monetary support (at least 5k) and share the kickstarter link.

I agree with you 1000000% on all of this. But as someone who does YouTube, I can say it’s so hard to make videos like that seem genuine. No matter what we do, it’s wrong. It’s going to come off wrong no matter how sensitive they try to be, someone will twist it into something negative. There’s no way for them to title & thumbnail it that would please EVERYONE. No matter what, someone is going to see something wrong with it. A better way to go about it? Maybe not post anything AT ALL... but then if the viewers found out they’d be mad that they hid it. So no matter what, they’re wrong... I hope that makes sense. It’s just one of those things they’ll never win at. Too many people on this earth with so many different options you truly will never be able to please everyone...

Overall I think they did a great job with that video, they didn’t monetize it but I think they should have and donated all that money to the family, they could’ve said hey all the money from this video will go towards fhe family but they didn’t. which is fine too... I know some youtubers who monetize those videos anyways and keep it so I guess M&B come up here.
i get it! that's why (at least for me) raw/unedited videos are always the best. no music in the background (the content is already sad--it doesn't need music), no text or added images on the title card. it should also be in color, not photoshopped black and white to make it look more depressing than it is. just a video explaining what happened, how they are feeling, what is going to happen next. a simple video from the heart. it's a serious topic and it should be treated as such.

i know everyone's grieving process is different, and it is harder for people who have a following. talk about it too much? why are you still on this, it's not even your kid, you're just trying to profit from it, ect. talk about it too little? i guess the kid wasn't that important to them, they don't care, ect. rock and a hard place. like i said, the only thing they can really do is give the family money; they don't need words. and then in that case, it should be done quietly because if they publicized that they gave X amount of money to the family, it would be like "why are you telling everyone? what, do you need a parade in your honor or something?" let the family do the talking.

i think for me, because they did devote an entire vlog to this topic and they said it impacted them deeply, it should be brought back again. like all they said in the 2nd video was 1 minute and 30 seconds of "we had a rough day yesterday. did some traveling. watch the vlog. we hugged our kids and reflected. now they are gone and we are going to go shopping in vegas." even if it;s just an update about henry's family, the links for donating, ect. in their case, maybe release a special acoustic version of the theme in henry's honor with all proceeds going to his family.

It's actually much better for the horse to be boarded than to live on their property. When Missy inevitably neglects him others will be there to take care of him, as opposed to the poor thing just staying unnoticed and all alone on their "property."

That thumbnail is so adequate for them - the only time Ollie is happy or excited when he sees that he got a present, and BryLard is basically teaching him to get even more excited with the size of the present. Yes - because according to the Dumps "size DOES matter" :? Do you guys find it funny that Missy just jumps from animal to animal? She reminds me of preschool kids that get excited about a new toy for a few days and just have to move on to something else because they become "bored with it". Anybody want to guess how many horse themed things they will pissing their money on over the next few weeks? The #DailyRanch is already sporting cowboy hats and boots! "It's been really hard on Missy" - really Bryan? How exactly? She's been goofing off in Vegas, riding horses and laughing like nothing ever happened!! I'm sure it's weighing down more on Bryan because he possibly could have gone earlier to see him, they go anywhere and everywhere all the time - none of it makes sense! He has to defend her as usual!! These kids are always eating meals you would usually give when kids are in school or on a field trip - when you don't have access to a kitchen! What a lazy ass mom - she never spends her time cooking some healthy meals for the boys - yet she always time to go get her nails done or spend quality time on her new hobbies!

She was a shit mother when she had no hobbies

Ooohhh a rock wall climber .. Looks fucking dangerous. ....BUT....
Have fun.. We're going back inside, bro

Bryan mouthing words to her around 11:30 is probably how 90% of their conversations go down

Calling his ankle the back of his heel was bizarre

AHH! I LOVE goats too!!! Lol they are some of my favorite animals. They are just so dang cute and silly and can be such sweet pets. My father in law had goats for years and he kept them in a lot beside our house. We loved them. Had a little black nanny that was an escape artist, but she just cruised around the yard and never really “ran away” and would always find her way back in the pen at night and at dinner time. My father in laws health started failing and I was HEARTBROKEN when I came home from work one day and he had sold all 4 of them Bc he was no longer able to care for them. It made me angry that he didn’t just ask us to care for them (which we would have in an instant, and we already helped him with daily care) Bc we would have in an instant. He passed away about 6 months after that and we haven’t had the heart to buy new goats yet. I want some so badly though. The pen and barn we had for them needs some repairs before we could purchase some more, but I totally want to get more just for pets. :)

Bryan shared the families go fund me. I looked through the donations Suzanne Hollister donated $200 and missy and Bryan donated $1000. The little boy was so cute. :(

They also mentioned the chickens and showed the fish. They have either been reading here or they were mentioned in the comments.

Bryan is actually the cook in their family, so, that should read “What a lazy ass dad”. He has no problem putting together hot lunches and decent dinners for he and Missy, but just doesn’t bother for the kids.
There are plenty of ways in which Missy is lazy. But this is a division of labour that THEY’VE decided on. It’s perfectly fine for the man to be the cook in the family. And that means that the blame lies at HIS feet when the kids get half-assed meals.

Well missy talking about riding her horse 2-3 times a Day has now gone to once because she’s not feeling well. She had said the boys had wanted to go. That was short lived. She really is so lazy. Wonder if they got a new saddle. Even I could tell that one was the wrong size. Another saddle so Ollie can ride behind her...wouldn’t it be safer to have him sit in front of her?

Of course they read here. How many times in today’s vlog did they make a point of showing Ollie saying “thank you”? Too many times for it not to have been obvious.

Another day another $400 toy. Find his story a little off. Just another excuse for a huge toy.

Wanted to say, I definitely agree that the horse is better off being boarded than living with them! But I think it's ridiculous to get an animal you want SO BADLY and not even have it with you or take care of it. And you know within a matter of weeks, she's going to get lazy/bored and stop going to ride it.
