I remember when Vanessa used to bitch & put down David bad on her vlogs. Does anyone else remember that? It was a long time ago & I doubt she still has those up. He wasn't really part of their life awhile back.
But I believe he changed & loves Vanessa. Why would he propose? But honestly, who really knows about others relationships. People can hide problems.

I agree. Honestly, he's been a screw up. Vanessa knows that. He's yet to prove himself in my eyes, but I think I have pretty high standards sometimes. We'll see I guess. I do think they have matured a bit since they moved in, but they are both still so young. It's going to take longer for them to be fully mature. Hopefully sooner than later though.

Looks to me like David is a young man that has settled down a little earlier than most males do in life to take care of his child and the mother of his child. Give me a break.

Yep Steve, and you're going to have to do your own research on that since you don't seem to know anything about him. Yes, I have high standards. If you have a child, you support the child and man up. He didn't always take care of them, his parents had to help because he flunked out of college and couldn't find a full time job.

Nutrasteve- calm down, lol. Do your research. David has not always been there for Lily. He seems like a good dad now but there was a period he wasn't. And that's according to Vanessa is her vlogs back during that period.

I agree he stepped up more but a big reason why it probably took him this long was his relationship with V and her constant nagging and pressure to do what she wants. I remember in old vids with them that V did admit that since having Lily she "became more mean" and other stuff like that-i cant remember. It can be true that he wasn't happy before but i think since living together helped them a lot with their relationship. But you're getting that information from Vanessa on a Youtube video! For all we know she might have had a spell where she beat him over the head with a frying pan everyday, and he finally had a enough of it! You don't know his story, and Vanessa is a cooky ass beesh anyways. There is no telling what kind of ish she would spread to make him look bad and her look good during a time of turmoil.

Or maybe he doesn't talk to anyone but his close friends about his family like a lot of other men. I agree with gypso on this one, if he was ashamed or found her annoying he wouldn't wear a ring around his finger and come home to the apartment everyday.

Because he can't remove the ring? Didn't they go days without contact last summer? (Summer of 2013) I remember Vanessa being upset about his absence & lack of visitation in her vlogs (It was the basis of my thoughts that *she* could do better - find someone more mature & committed) From what Vanessa has shown us, David HAS been reluctant in certain aspects of their lives together. I have no inclination as to why, nor do I care, but you cannot deny the proof she's provided.

Look I have no idea what the state of their relationship is and I *personally* don't care. Sometimes the blind defense on this board is as bad as the blind hatred. None of us *KNOW* Vanessa or David. Maybe he's happy, maybe he's not. Maybe he is incredibly committed, maybe he's a cheat! Maybe he moves that ring to different finger each time he gets to work, MAYBE he takes it off!
Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he likes to keep his personal life private (does he realize in that case then, how much Vanessa shares? I assume he knows, which makes me hesitant to believe he's THAT private)

Either way, I wish people could agree to disagree. Or at least think prior to posting. Just because he wears a ring in Vanessa presence hardly means he's incapable of cheating.

*Disclaimer* I loath cheats. I would hope, one human being to another, he is not cheating on Vanessa. It's an incredibly cruel thing to do to a person.

I understand both sides. For me its more than the ring, and knowing his past behavior he acts differently now. He also comes home to the apartment and sleeps in the bed everyday. Spends lots of time withV& Lily. If he wanted out as I said, it would be all to easy to move back with mom&dad. We don't know the intricate details of the relationship. I'm just saying from what I've see via youtube, David seems quite content where he is. I don't see anything forceful. They genuinely appear to be happy.

I see where your coming from, but I still feel like Vanessa is the only one putting effort into the relationship. Then again we don't know what happens off camera. He could be a totally different person and he's just shy on camera.

Okay, so I find this super annoying. Has anyone seen Vanessa's post about Lily's "unfortunate test results"?

First of all, if Lily's thyroid is producing too much hormones, that's HYPERthyroidism. HYPOthyroidism is when your thyroid produces too little hormones and your levels are too low. Source: I actually have hypothyroidism and my levels are low, especially since I had a baby.
Second of all, that is far, far, FAR from being "unfortunate news". I get that it sucks to find out your daughter has yet another syndrome, but she's acting like it's a death sentence! Thyroid disorders are super easy to treat.
Ugh, leave it to Vanessa to use this to get attention.

I'm saying!! I think David is a great father!! Vanessa was sooo mean to David in the past and that's why he always broke up with her, not because he didn't love her nor Lily. I remember in her earlier vlogs she was so so so mean to him, she always put in down and wouldn't even allow him to be a father to Lily, to watch Lily so she could have time to herself, in all of the vlogs when Vanessa said that he wasn't there and I was blah blah blah, that's a lie, she shouldn't allow him to. She would only allow him to come over a few times a week to spend time with Lily, it wasn't his choice. And when he had enough he broke up with her, realized that didn't get him to see his daughter anymore then he already was and I think he truly loves Vanessa. At one point Vanessa was going after him for child support WHILE they were dating, who does it???? While she's going after him for child support he goes out and buys Lily a car seat for his car and she gets mad because he doesn't understand forward facing vs rear facing. It's evident you cannot please Vanessa.

It's actually the opposite. I had a thyroidectomy several years ago. When my tsh is high it means my dose is too low and needs to be raised. When it's low it means my dose needs to be lowered. Sounds backwards but that's what my Dr tells me. I agree, hypothyroidism is so not a big deal. Britney is being dramatic about the same thing right now.

Edited: I'm not implying Vanessa is copying Britney. I think it's pure coincidence and also thyroid issues are very common

Yes, Vanessa had said that in her vlogs back then but she always said she wouldn't allow David to watch Lily alone. She wouldn't even allow David to come over to her house and watch Lily while Vanessa did whatever, even if her Mom was at the house. Vanessa just wants people to feel sorry for her.

Does anyone else notice how completely dirty and disgusting that steering wheel is? How can she edit all of her videos, seeing the steering wheel and not taking a Lysol wipe to it. Such a clean freak huh???
