I'm thinking this as well. Looks like Kelly was working with Cullen the past few days, learning the in's and out's I assume. I bet she will be the one in charge of editing and uploading ect. I doubt Jay has the time to work on something like that (although i could be wrong). IDK if i will subscribe or not, (Jay reminds me way WAY too much of an ex of mine, they even share a name.. ugh,) but i hope they are successful!ferriswheel wrote:I was wondering about this too, unless it's a side job for Kelly.yoyo16 wrote:Why are Kelly and Jay hopping on the YouTube train? They say it's because people have been asking them to start one but I don't believe that. I'm pretty sure that they have money, based on their house they just moved into and her husbands job. I hope they don't fall into the same old routine every YouTuber has gone into- quitting jobs and doing it full time.

Gotcha. So we pretty much said the same thing. They're taking what should be a calculated risk choosing YouTube as a career.tratra58 wrote:I didn't mean that we should feel sorry for any of these folks. My point was YouTube has risk if this is your income.lmmomSD wrote:Sorry for so many posts-- too late to edit. But I have no sympathy for them "being at the mercy" of YouTube. They have chosen to count on a capricious form of income that has no guarantees, and if they're not keeping an eye out and look at other ways to make income, they are not too bright.tratra58 wrote:

Sorry, I am just a little bitter after watching the conspicuous consumption of Bryan and Missy.

Cullen was a dumbass for taking Nemo outside, but i had to laugh and the editing was great. LOL...
Yay for a new car! I totally see the need for them to get one.

I died when he realized it wasn't coming back, then he threw in that clip from Finding Nemo and I was just done! lol he's hilariousPlaysinrain wrote:Cullen was a dumbass for taking Nemo outside, but i had to laugh and the editing was great. LOL...

When I look at Jay, he seems fairly "manly". But his voice is fairly feminine to me. Is that the accent? His is certainly a bit stronger than Cullen's. I'm not around southern accents much.
The nemo editing had me rolling! Cullen is an idiot sometimes, but the editing made it worth it lol. Probably a pretty expensive balloon to send to the sky.

Why he thought it would come back in the first place made me laugh. It's helium filled! I thought it was hilarious that he said, "it says not to fly it outdoors..." and the second he said that it stopped working. The nemo clips got me.. too damn funny!!hey girl hey007 wrote:I died when he realized it wasn't coming back, then he threw in that clip from Finding Nemo and I was just done! lol he's hilariousPlaysinrain wrote:Cullen was a dumbass for taking Nemo outside, but i had to laugh and the editing was great. It was funny and it shows how creative he is. Do you think he puts in more time than other YouTubers since he is saying it is a never ending job?ladymama wrote:When I look at Jay, he seems fairly "manly". But his voice is fairly feminine to me. I say definitely not because they didn't mention the dealership name or anything like.Elizabetlj wrote:They just posted on instagram they have a new car a suburban. Brand deal maybe? ??

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
I still think it's ridiculous for a small family, and let's face it, they are a small family, to think they _need_ a Suburban. I get the Jetta being too small. But the carbon footprint of a Suburban is just awful. They could have gotten something with much better gas mileage. Maybe some will think I am nitpicking, but our dependence on fossil fuels is a real problem.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Katie's parents and sister drive Suburbans so they needed one too. Those things are massive. I wonder if they've already closed on a house? It's unusual to make such a large purchase while house hunting.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
It's been 8 months since I've had a kid brooks age so it's hard for me to remember what's normal. He seems to have very little head and trunk control for a 4 1/2 month old. I remember my son rolling all over the house at that age and he could hold his head up much better. I know all babies develop at different rates but brooks seems a little behind in that regard.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
Wait, they _needed_ one because her family all has them? What do her parents need with a Suburban? The kids are gone. "Needing" one because your sister and parents have one is just silly. So, I guess none of them care if there's any planet left for the kids.Lovethesnark wrote:Katie's parents and sister drive Suburbans so they needed one too. Those things are massive. Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
2 of my 3 babies had big heads (like Katie says Brooks is/off the charts) and they had head control later, sat on the late end, and one of them walked on the later end (15 months.) Pediatrician said all of it was definitely due to the large cranium factor. Lol. If you think about it it makes sense. Bigger noggin harder to control and navigate with.MommaLindsey2 wrote:It's been 8 months since I've had a kid brooks age so it's hard for me to remember what's normal. I think they got it mostly for travel. Room for their stuff and the dogs. They also keep their cars for some time and are probably planning on having it when they have baby #3, instead of having to go buy another new vehicle.

Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
We got our first suburban 23 years ago when child #3 was on the way. With two dogs and three kids we could not do a van. Not that Cullen has this problem but my husband is 6'6" and does not fit comfortably in a minivan. Now kids are grown and gone we have two smaller cars. I get C&K getting one but not Grand dolly and Grand Doc.ladymama wrote:They didn't say that, It was an assumption.lmmomSD wrote:Wait, they _needed_ one because her family all has them? Re: Cullen and Katie: Blame the Mailman Part 7
My two have big noggins as well (95th percentile) . I always thought the extra weight helped their muscles develop sooner than some babies. Lol All babies are different though I remember Gaines being very slow reaching her physical milestones as well so I'm sure it's normal for their family.jaynshann wrote:2 of my 3 babies had big heads (like Katie says Brooks is/off the charts) and they had head control later, sat on the late end, and one of them walked on the later end (15 months.) Yeah, I don't see why GD^2 have one. Maybe if they had all the Grandbabies often, but I don't think they do.Ducklings4 wrote:We got our first suburban 23 years ago when child #3 was on the way.
