If she's losing weight, he could take notes. Doesn't matter if he's smaller than her. First tip: eat at home. Less red meat. More lean proteinMommaLindsey2 wrote:Is that a joke? Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
The most telling episode for me was when Bev was in town and they bought her the car. Bev went to hug Missy goodbye, and barely got to, and she said "I love you" and Missy turned away, and said "yeah". And when they went to Hawaii with Jeff and Tal, they were dropping Bev off at the airport before catching their flight. It was so obvious that she couldn't wait to get rid of her. She doesn't visit often, and she's Bryan's sister. She supposedly helped raise him. And she's a sweetheart. Show a little respect.violet-kelsey black wrote:I've been done with their videos, but I had to watch today's vlog to see how Missy would act around Bev. It was just what I expected, awkward. Did you guys notice when she arrived at the mall and Bryan was showing her Ollie's new hat? He said something along the lines of "isn't that hat cute?" And her answer was "it's funny"...umm okay? She always says that when she's being awkward. She's annoying when she's around Bev

I don't know why it bothers me so much when Bryan calls Finn a "monster." I just find it an ugly thing to call a sweet little boy.

Do Bev and Bryan have the same dad? They just don't look alike at all.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
And on her Instagram story, she wasn't "cuddling" Ollie. He was lying down on the couch with a blanket, and she was by his feet. That's not "cuddling". I know it's nitpicking, but when you say you're letting your child stay up past his bedtime (right, like he has a real bedtime) because he "wanted to cuddle", you shouldn't then show him not cuddling. He doesn't have a bedtime. That's the problem. He needs a bedtime routine, and by that I don't mean falling asleep on the playroom couch with a movie on.

Bev complimented Missy's new hair, and I didn't really hear a reply from MissylmmomSD wrote:The most telling episode for me was when Bev was in town and they bought her the car. It's because he basically has zero social interaction. Pay and Liv don't count. He should be in a daycare 1-3 times a week to get use to following directions/rules, learning how to interact with other kids and early learning.tintin15 wrote:Exactly. Pretty sure Bryan was tweeting them when the whole viral video happened too. We know how much he loves to beg for shit.Acbsktbll wrote:Agreed. Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
Two strange observations.
1)Ollie is basically 4 at this point and I only ever see him drink from a sippy cup. Do they ever have him use a cup without a top? Like a plain cup?
2) I thought it was super weird that they never refer to Bev as his aunt...."Ollie, arent you happy my sisters here?!" Cassie is auntie..what is Bev. Then again, they basically have no relationship with poor Bev so it doesn't shock me.

Yes both your points stand out to me as well. That was a really weird way to talk about Beverly to Ollie but maybe he said that because some people watching the vlog might not know who she is. At least have him call her bev or aunt bev. I never called my aunts aunt I always just called them by their name for some reason.Makennnzie wrote:Two strange observations.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
We talked about he whole soppy cup this before. Most of us prefer our kids have a cup with a lid. My son turns 4 in November and for he most part drinks from a thermos cup with a straw. Occasionally with meals I'll give him a small plastic cup with water but that's it. I do remember seeing Ollie have a cup without a lid a few times in the past. There's no harm in him drinking for a cup with a lid, or silly cup if you will, I just wish Missy would give them ones with soft straws.Makennnzie wrote:Two strange observations.

But I agree 100%. It should be Aunt Bev.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
I kind of enjoyed the vlog today, when Ollie vlogs and isn't prompted on what to say word for word, I actually understand him better. Bryan telling Ollie that he will eat a sandwich and not just bread was nice to see too.
I didn't like it when poor Finn was crying and all Bryan wanted to do was re create that stupid scene, PICK YOUR CHILD UP BRYAN.
and Missy was being Missy, we all knew she was going to act awkward around Bryan's sister, it's a shame because Bev seems really awesome and sweet.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
I thought it was weird too that Bryan called Bev "my sister" and not "your aunt". And the way he asked Ollie if he was excited about "my sister" visiting was weird too. The whole situation is odd, and I like Bev. She seems like such a nice person.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
Bev has never been "Aunt Bev" to Ollie. Remember when she sends him cards and things? Bryan has always said "my sister" in talking to Ollie. We've speculated this is to keep them separate from Missy's family and just another way to dismiss the Lanning side.
It's messed up and rude in my opinion, especially since they have told Ollie to call Jared "Uncle Jared" before.

Re: DailyStagedAndConfused (Part 90)
Yeah, I always feel so bad for Bev. Just because she lives farther away doesn't make her any less of an aunt! She seems sweet and you can tell she cares about the boys. I might not be remembering correctly, but doesn't Bryan do the same thing with his mom, too? It's "my mom," and not Grandma or some other nickname. Missy was so close to her grandparents and it sounds like Bryan had very view family members he could count on - so you'd think they'd both understand that the more loving family members in a kid's life, the better! It's not a competition between sets of grandparents or aunts and uncles.MommaLindsey2 wrote:Yes both your points stand out to me as well. I feel like there is a lot of unresolved stuff with Bryan and his mom, which is why he's very standoffish and why Missy probably doesn't like her. Hes spoken before about his childhood and I'll bet you Missy has her feelings about Bryans mom because in her eyes, as a mom, you should always put your kids first and it seems like Bryans mom didn't do that.
I'll bet you there was some sort of blow up in the past and that's why Missy is so awkward with Bev.
