Safe to say there was A LOT they didn’t show us. If Corbin was in the tent all day resting from “extreme dehydration” why didn’t they show any of it? Also the fact that they didn’t show one single clip where June cried is a bit ridiculous... she may have done “so good” but babies also cry... whether hey are backpacking or not, why not be real and show these moments? nope, instead they show the perfect happy moments then decide to helicopter out because everyone else is doing it... I call BS.

That is typical for them though. When you watch their vlogs you're led to believe that June is the happiest baby and the smartest on the planet. She never cries never fusses. That she spends her days squealing and giggling in delight and solving puzzles. They're so obsessed with fitting this cookie cutter mold of the perfect family.

Oh man, after watching Saturday's video I was going to say good for them, apart from Corbin's mom and aunt apparently not being prepared for such a strenuous hike and having a rough go of it. But then I read this and realized I should probably watch Sunday's video! Wow, they really mislead everyone with that happy-go-lucky first video and it sounds like it all came crashing down. I am laughing at all of their "Look at us! Looking at us! We're backpacking with our baby!" comments they made throughout the vlog if they took the helicopter back.

The "spiritual" experience was his older brother, who hiked 20 additional miles by himself and everyone else stayed in their tents. I don't think he's the whiner type. He explained it on IG. I don't think Corbin or Kelsey did much of anything once they got to the campground and found the "clean" bathroom and the snack bar....
I know he's not everyone's type, but Nick is definitely hunky — in a surfer/skier/outdoorsy way. He also looks NOTHING like weird Corbin or scrawny Sonny.
Ok, I watched Sunday’s video. To recap, they didn’t bring enough water on the hike. Corbin forgot to bring water shoes, so he used some random pair that someone left. There are food stands that sell tacos and hamburgers and clean bathrooms, so they’re really not “roughing it” or even cooking their own meals. They take the helicopter out. Cue all of the defensive excuses.
It’s so funny to me that these vloggers need to point the camera at themselves and throw their arms up yell and do that dumb open mouth surprised face to communicate that everything is amazing! We made it! This is crazy! This is incredible! Talk about making a production out of everything. I cannot imagine living that way. I bet they were more focused on thumbnails and getting the right shots and posing than they were on actually taking in those beautiful views! Then again, these two treat YouTube as a side project and not their sole source of income, so maybe not! The knock-off royalty-free Bon Iver-esque music made me laugh.

(Sorry for my double post above)
YES there is a moment in the vlog where they are in front of a water fall & Corbin filmed a minute early. You can literally see Kelsey go from normal expression to realize the camera is on to "omg this is sooooooo amazing mah luuuuv!"
Also they got incredibly defensive about the helicopter. I love how it was "for June" at one point because she's been pointing at them... Yea okay she really loved that. I honestly think based on Kelsey's expression when they were "still deciding" that she made that call. Corbin has too much pride and would've tried to make ge hike only to realize half way they didn't pack enough water... Oh wait that did already happen.
Can we make a list of difficult "choices" they've said they were making only to wimp out?
1. Camping RV trip (excuse: pregnancy)
2. Live minimally with baby in city without car (excuse: friends in LA?)
3. Labor without interventions (excuse: "long" labor)
4. Cloth diaper (excuse: ?)
5. Hike to and from Havasu falls (excuse: June wants to ride a helicopter)
6. Marathon - TBD
7. India trip - TBD
So wait-- the helicopter ride was "for June"? Riiiight.
And no, I couldn't live like that either. That open-mouthed "Oh my gosh! Just look at this!" face they all make is awful. And the whole idea of walking around talking to a camera in order to "share" your life with strangers on the internet is bizarre. The life they're "sharing" becomes so scripted and fake, and they're not really living it. They interact with their children through the camera, and teach them to make those ridiculous faces too. For what? Money? And I don't buy any of that BS that they're "living our dream".
I think they knew on the hike down there was no way they were hiking out. I think that is why Corbin made a point to be like "it's actually 13 miles not 10" they were all complaining an hour in. They said they wanted to prove that your life doesn't have to change just because you have a baby. Ummm that is he fucking point. You want to travel around the world like you're carefree... don't have a kid. They use June as a pawn in their shitty ideas.

Any others?
They love to come up with these grandiose plans but they don't bother to step back and think through the execution. Deciding to start trying at the beginning of a six month road trip with no prenatal health coverage is a big one that comes to mind. If they had just said from the beginning that their plan was to hike down the canyon and then take a helicopter back, I wouldn't think anything of it. Backpacking 13 miles in with a baby is hard work, no doubt about it. But it's just the audacity they have to think they could hike 26 miles round trip, especially hiking UP the canyon, that makes me laugh. They love to toot their own horn, congratulating themselves again and again, and then coming up with defensive excuses for not being able to complete the full hike. They never can live up to their own hype they've created around themselves.
I'm guessing NO ONE has signed up for their India trip (well, one person in the comments says they signed up). $5000 isn't cheap, so I'm not surprised!!! I wonder if the trip gets canceled if they don't get enough people to go??? I can't imagine they are going to actually get 20 people!
Did anyone else notice Kelsey rudely shove that dog away?? What a bitch. The dog wasn't doing anything. I bet she'd be pissed if someone did that to her dog.
Kelsey needs a new dress. Her bra was showing the entire time and it just looks like it doesn't fit. Maybe Missy stopped giving her hand-me-downs?
It really sounds like they aren’t getting the 20 people to sign up. It’s a huge amount of $$$ for a 6 day trip. They really have no concept of real life do they?
I was wondering about Corbin’s family. Is his aunt that they see often, his mom’s sister? Thought it was strange that his mom didn’t stay for Easter. I know his brother has a daughter but she doesn’t see June often. Was she even there for June’s birthday? Such a strange relationship.
Kelsey needs more than just a new dress. Those boots didn’t go with the dress. Why does she always wear those short dress things with leggings? I noticed it on the hike.

Yes, the aunt is Corbin's mom's sister. Corbin's parents and older brother live in Idaho, so a trip to SoCal is a lot of time and $$$$.
Those booties HAVE GOT TO GO! That are so ugly!!!
As for the dress on the hike, those are workout dresses. They are pretty trendy. Basically what a lot of female tennis players wear.

Yet another example of something that they did not think through. Did they really take the time to think about whether this is something their views can do or would do? It sounds shady. They are way overestimating their appeal and their reach if they think their "fanbase" would finance this.
I watched the hiking vlogs. I have to give them props for doing that with a 1-year old! My kids are much old but I still don’t like to take them camping (I am a control freak!).
What I found really dumb was Corbin and Kelsey going on a mini-hike to the second waterfall (without June) and going down the caves and stuff to get closer to the water. I would never risk both mine and my husband’s lives at the same time like that! One slip and the kid becomes an orphan if whomever is on top falls down and drags the other parent down! I know I am a control freak but I am also a rational person, right!?!? Right!?!? Lol
When is the India trip? Are they planning to take June? They’re not like...planning to backpack through remote parts of India with a toddler, are they?
(Sorry for the dumb questions - I don’t follow them closely enough!)
