Not even half way through this video and I'm ready to turn it off. They might call it the new Daily Bumps but it's the same old crap. I really liked their old videos, like back when Ollie was baby and they were normal parents. But that's gone. They changed in the worst possible way and there is just no going back.

-That secret room is weird and looks half done.
-Was that a Facebook portal ad?
-Video still seemed totally planned and scripted.
-The scripted/planned banter around decorating the boys room was predictable and boring

I find it hilarious that their big new channel reveal has fewer views than just a random daily vlog from when they were actually the old Daily Bumps. It’s at 286K views and Oliver’s first freakin’ haircut has 2.5M views lolol

People have asked them what their schedule was going to be. Bryan said he wanted to get back on a regular schedule. Wonder what that schedule will be. They’ve got to do something on a regular basis or people will get tired searching/waiting.

I don’t think it will be daily since they’ve got someone else filming them. It can’t be all in the studio either... that will be boring to the little kids. They’ve really got a problem if they continue like yesterday, just comes off as scripted again. So much for showing the real them!

it seems like they're trying to have the best of both worlds. they want the older audience for Bryans music but the younger audience for the views so they're making it like an over scripted, over produced, poorly acted vlog and trying to put kid themes with "adult" themes (I use adult here loosely) but that's not how youtube works. they either need to stick to kids content and come to terms with that branding or they need to go back to the ACTUAL old dailybumps. can't have your cookies and eat them too.

so now we know when bryan got his creative epiphany to have a dailybumps intro video ripped off from ninetendo! The flappy bird video! he even said oh it looks like ninetendo. lol. that video is unlisted??? it probably went unlisted when nintendo was going to sue them for stealing their like-ness. which honestly they had every right. bryans creativity stems from ripping other people off. for me that kind of thing is the lowest of the low.

I think they’d be was more successful if they made a second channel for vlogs instead of this weird combo thing. They’re going to alienate both audiences now. They clearly want to scale back on content and do less work but also appeal to their older crowd...they can’t ignore the fact that their main channel’s subs is made up of mostly little kids now expecting toddler themed videos. I think they could gain a decent following if they made a second channel where they put out regular vlogs once a week, not scripted, not shot by a camera man. Just them being normal. That would get their old audience back. Then they could retain their child audience with a video once a week doing what they’ve been doing.

I think this big change will sort of be the beginning of the end for them. Or they won’t see the numbers they like and they’ll go back to kiddie content. I just don’t think there’s a big enough audience interested in Brian’s music, and the new stuff won’t really appeal to adults or kids.

I watched the new video yesterday and honestly I’m kinda iffy about it. It’s a mixture of vlogging and having a cameraman. It was weird. Just stick to one. Having both made it harder to connect. The house tour was kinda lame considering we already know what the house looks like. It’s almost annoying that they are trying to go back to the older daily bumps to appeal to the older viewers. They are doing it for Bryan’s music and it shows. Yesterday video was completely opposite of genuine. Seemed fake. If they showed lives ups and downs like they used to then I as a wife and mother could connect more

Genuine question here about learning to read. Should Ollie be able to read by now? I realise that all countries do things differently. But here in the UK you learn to read properly at age 4 when you start school. I realise there's no rush, but Ollie is 6 this summer. In Missys insta story (I think) he was reading a bag that said tiffany and co and he said it says tooth fairy or something. I realise he was just playing but it got me wondering if he can read. Haven't watched them in forever.. can't even bare to hate watch them.

I don't know, but when I was looking to see if they had changed the "exploitative" vlog titles back (they have-- "Baby Trapped in a Water Park" was changed briefly, but now it's back!) I noticed that they have an "Ollie's First Date at Disneyland" video. Gross.
Somehow I don't think that Corbin endeared himself to anyone the way the fake DBEJCK "break the internet friendship" did. For some reason, people seemed to like watching them pretend to be besties. But Corbin is just not as likable, for lack of a better word. I _think_ that the DBEJCK vacations appealed to kids who wished they had "cool" parents who were all best friends with their best friends' parents, and also appealed to the gullible adults in their audience who believed they were really best friends and wished they could go on fun "vacays" with their friends and have money not be much of a consideration. Just my personal theory. Not worth much in the grand scheme of things!
