So, there's an instastory of Ollie watching "Annie". He's singing along with "Hard Knock Life". I won't go into the irony of one of the most spoiled children I've ever seen singing that particular song.
But-- he knows the words to "Hard Knock Life" and doesn't know the Alphabet song? Or Happy Birthday?

And they braided the horse's forelock

Corbin braided it so I’m sure Missy will leave it like that forever

Bryan claims to have been "bullied mercifully", yet doesn't get his sons speech help. You know the boys will be bullied in school for talking with an impediment.
(Obviously I don't condone the bullying, but it's something I feel is going to happen).
How was Ollie's speech at Finn's age now?

It's probably another one of those movies they've seen hundreds of times. Eventually you teach yourself.lmmomSD wrote:So, there's an instastory of Ollie watching "Annie". From what I remember, even more unintelligible that Finn's. He sounded like the adults in Charlie BrownThegoatsmeow wrote:Bryan claims to have been "bullied mercifully", yet doesn't get his sons speech help. You know the boys will be bullied in school for talking with an impediment.

Sorry for all the posts, but someone I know actually knows someone with the name Finley. Finley is a girl. It's just a little werd though, because before Finn was born, I'd never heard the name before.
That's all I think.

I don’t understand why both boys speech is so bad. Bryan and missy never shut up so it’s not like don’t talk to them! Fin just says nothing!

And Bryan's way of talking to Ollie is to sit Ollie in front of him with his back to him, and talk to him through the camera.
They don't ask open ended questions. It's always yes or no. Are you excited? Do you love this? Etc. And the boys spend way too much time in the playroom with a movie as a babysitter.

Oh I get that. It's just sad that he knows the songs from a movie, but not his ABC'S. Or Happy Birthday.coolusername1236 wrote:It's probably another one of those movies they've seen hundreds of times. Have to share—I found myself watching the new TLC show “Seeking Sister Wife” and the wife on the far right looked exactly like a blonde Missy. She even had an atrocious lisp!

Hi Queen! Lol I don’t really participate over here much as for the most part the bumps don’t irritate me that much. But I just can’t get over how silent fin is! It’s really bad.queentee20 wrote:Oh hi pineapples I didn’t know you participate in this thread! Lol... and Missy & Bryan never talk with the boys they talk at them and never encourage them to speak in sentences. Like growing up all the adults around me would tell their kids & myself like “ok say, Can I have a bite?” Or you know, REAL WORDS! All missy and Bryan do is say “DO YOU LIKE YOUR NEW TOY??!” And ollie’s Response to everything is “...good”Pineapples wrote:I don’t understand why both boys speech is so bad. This kid is 4 years old and has a HORSE as a pet and when they asked what he thought of the horse he said “good” in a monotone voice. They’re screwed him of a good childhood

Honestly, looking back at old vlogs I think Finn is even worse than Ollie was. Ollie was at least trying to say different words at this age, even though they were pretty unintelligible. Finn hardly ever says anything at all but "da" (yeah), "k" (okay), no, mama, and dada. Either way, it's sad that they're screwing their kids over by not teaching them to talk and, in Ollie's case, to talk freely and give appropriate responses (no, "um good" is not a correct response to "what do you think?").

I watched that too! And not only does she have a lisp she has a horrible speech impediment. At first I just saw the lisp then when she started speaking more I realized it was a horrible speech impediment. She said accomodating as "a comedy." She can't say her R's right and sounds like Elmer Fudd at other times. I think she should of had some intervention as a child but she says she was in a polygamist family so she was one of many children and got swept under the rug. That is sad. This is going to be Ollie and Finn's future. They do not always grow out of it. This woman is proof.kittypurry wrote:Have to share—I found myself watching the new TLC show “Seeking Sister Wife” and the wife on the far right looked exactly like a blonde Missy. Re: DailyBumps100ThreadsOfClickbait (Part 100!)
I feel way too nice for enjoying seeing Bryan with the horse. I feel like it's much more interesting seeing them have fun with things that aren't for show. Too bad the plants are gone.
I feel like the thing that Missy puts in the horse's mouth (I can't remember what it's called) is the only present from Bryan that she'll ever use more than once.
When Bryan takes his voice down low, I think it sounds weird. Has anyone noticed that?
It looks like Missy is miss professional now
Of course Missy's happy because the horse stays close to her. AND she's not going to complain YET. She's never finished, is she?
Bryan seemed to have much better posture on Nacho than MISSY was. Are her legs too short or something? I never see her feet tucked.
If they're going to get THAT MUCH food, it should be real! They have all those preserveitives in their THREE REFRIGERATORS, and they still need to go back and get some actual food!
They may as well all eat the same food every night. I'm sure the boys eat so unhealthily (if that's even a word) that they eat just as much as M&B!
That's enough from me.

I do feel like Bryan looks as though he lost a few pounds though. Papa has gained them for him lol. Papas stomach is looking huge.

There was a video he did with Cassie where he talked a bit. They were doing real food vs. squishy food or something like that. I believe he said “I want a bite” a couple times, and I was blown away because all I’ve ever heard on the vlogs is “yeaaaah.” It’s still concerning that he doesn’t talk more, but I do think he is at least a little further along than he appears on the vlogs. It was the same way with Ollie - he was clearly behind, but somehow Cassie always managed to get some words out of him!100midas wrote:Honestly, looking back at old vlogs I think Finn is even worse than Ollie was. Please tell me they didn’t go buy more food already?!? Didn’t they buy enough chicken nuggets and frozen pancakes for an army just last week?!?coolusername1236 wrote:If they're going to get THAT MUCH food, it should be real! I think they gave their second garage fridge (the one from the rental) to Kelsey and Corbin, so they are down to two industrial sized fridges - so much more reasonable, right?
