They do see they basically would have been excluding Madi... you don't "sign out of college" and when your family has a YT there's no 'fake funeral letters' to turn it... just like last Hawaii, instead of being rational people and scheduling a full family vacation, Madi was the step child who got to come late and leave early and miss out.
I laughed at we were gonna celebrate in Hawaii, their kids are so far behind in classes because the kids cannot manage to do their own homework as Mindy must control everything . They said something about celebrating this weekend, it appears that they care more about celebrating than getting their kids caught up on school assignments. It's like they don't care that their kids cannot manage to do anything on their own, take responsibility and then they reward them for this bad behaviour. Great thing they are doing raising 4 kids who cannot keep up , in the real world they will be raked over the coals. As for Madi joining late in hawaii, it appeared more her choice due to school and not wanting to miss any of it, legitimately she could have missed some days but seems she cares more about her education than an "epic rad" vacation with her bratty spoiled siblings. She probably likes not having to deal with them daily, even now she is 20min away and not over all the time like Branden had hoped for, wonder why??? Because her Hazy is brat and that she is more mature than her father?

Good for them for actually doing something good. For using money they would have otherwise used for another one of their epic rad savage trips to help others. I of course have not watched the vlog and have only seen the IG post so I might sing a different tune I’d the vlog proves to be a disgusting brag fest where they point their cameras in the faces of victims of DV and make a scene and really try to brag about the fact that they can afford this.

I’m watching the Vlog now and I’m 100% okay with them donating, even making a video and spectacle out of it because the women children and families of the crisis center get to benefit from it.

Also I looked up the center and it seems to be non-religion based which I appreciate as well. People in crisis shouldn’t have to focus on forcing religion in them.

Did they really spend $10K at Costco?
This thread title is so apt.

Also I think it’s really telling who’s there and who’s not there with them. The little snip of a speech mindy gave is interesting.

“We’ve had a lot of people put barriers in our way and you guys have never done that to us. It means the world to us. You guys have picked them up moved them and hurdled over them with us...”

I watched the vlog. It was actually really nice.
Well thought out, I felt like they were genuine in what they did and it didn’t go towards something frivolous and was actually a worthy cause. They also didn’t seem to be obnoxiously screeching and making a scene in the store which was nice too (or they did a good job of editing it out because based on Mindy’s IG stories she seemed to play the role of annoying screecher). I give this one a thumbs up.

That's good. I take back my prior comment
Sortof. It's still tone deaf to title a video "$10,000 Costco Haul" in these times.

Agreed. Feels like they’re trying to make it clickbait for sure. Makes you wonder if Dan put the video together and didn’t just shoot most of it which is why it cinematically looks good and doesn’t feel douchey. Until the title. Image

I am really wondering who those people could be. Greedners maybe? Most of Brandens family is elsewhere so probably not them. Im very curious

Also, I appreciate their vlog today. I even got teary eyed. If Daniel edited the vlog, he should do it more often. I sat through the whole thing surprisingly.

Its not the Gardners that helped, I believe its their neighbors who built the house next to them.

The latest IG post clearly states that it wasnt JUST their money being spent. Family and friends helped.

$10,000 isnt that impressive given they currently make about $30-40k a month just on YT.

It was a nice vlog and a nice gesture, a great use of their money instead of Hawaii, but I couldn’t help but spend the whole vlog wondering if maybe Costco didn’t sponsor it? Maybe they asked money from the people that helped? I hope not, they can afford it and it would be sad
Anyway, a good deed has been done and I’m happy for it and for the institution

I wonder how many videos and instastories they will milk from this. They are so over the top they now just seem like bad actors on a bad sitcom.

Costco definitely didn't sponsor it, it would be illegal for them not to disclose any sponsor on the video as per Youtube's terms of agreement.

I'm not sure why you would think they asked for any money from their friends/neighbours? They regularly drop well over 10k for family vacations, I promise you. 10k isn't very significant for a channel with a million subscribers that vlogs daily and accepts donations every weekly stream. They have a lot of sponsor partners, plus their merch people seem to keep buying.

I think it was very generous of them to donate that kind of money to help a domestic violence shelter, of course, but it was definitely not such a huge amount that they could have only done it if they asked others for help donating/tried to secure a sponsor for a donation video. That would seem really sleezy, imo. Plus these people came to help for what looked like the better part of the day at an early hour, they donated their labour and used their trucks to help transport everything. Asking for people to also give money to their million subscriber donation gift just makes no sense, in my opinion.

Not only can Lindsey not wear a mask properly, but she just has it sitting on the table at the restaurant they’re at with friends. Pretty disappointed with her lately.

And they are using Madi for views again. "She Almost Got Fired"? They apparently need her help.
She needs to just say no to being filmed.

Too bad Sean has gone full blown Trump tweeting. I’m sure all family members are the same but avoid it due to losing followers.

He’s either a closeted gay or an absolute abusive jerk. He’s almost 40 and no stable relationship? Yikes. That’s not very Mormon of him.
