I watch movies with captions on.. cause I like to be able to read in CASE I miss something said.. but, I don't WANT to do nothing but read.. lol they make books for that, and I have my choice in anything that I find interesting.. and Ellie is NOT interesting! If she only knew how much she makes off youtube!!! I get that she wants to meet people and get on a schedule. But dang. She could make one for herself and live a nice life if her mother didn't keep her youtube money.

You are so right! I don't get it. I may have said this before but Karli gets all of her youtube money minus what Candi takes out for her to pay taxes. I've said this before but on the off chance Emma stumbles upon this page and reads this - I'm saying it again. This is how Karli bought herself two brand new laptops now. She's paying for half of her college (parents are paying the other half) She put a good chunk of money down on her car. The girl will graduate college debt free.

If Emma would branch off from under Heather's control - Heather wouldn't be able to afford everything she does. I'm sure that's why and she justifies it to herself somehow that keeping Emma's money for herself is ok.

It's incredibly frustrating, sad, and somehow I feel illegal. Especially now that she's 18. Aren't there laws to protect kids like her?

Can we talk about Ellie being in a horrible mood and looking miserable, but excuses being made for her. God forbid Emma has an attitude about being without her car and they joke and make fun of Emma for it?

Also, Ellie is grounded yet she's at a sleepover with her friends. There's absolutely no way that would happen when Emma were grounded. Double standard much?

I hope that when Emma's lease is up and she gets a new car that control freak Heather allows her to get what Emma wants and not what Heather wants.

Also, Ellie is grounded yet she's at a sleepover with her friends. There's absolutely no way that would happen when Emma were grounded. Double standard much?

I think what they weren't saying was.. "Ellie is in a bad mood/p!ssed off, because we are considering moving away from her friends/school/softball team/all she cares about." I CAN understand why she would be in a bad mood about that. I think those girls have moved enough in their lives, why are they even considering, moving Ellie away from her friends, in the middle of school??? I think she's a complete brat, but.. I don't think she deserves that tbh. No kid does. While it would give Emma a great fresh start.. a city away from all those rude kids she went to school with.. it wouldn't for Ellie, you know? I think they should wait until at LEAST a school break, or softball season is over or something. Idk.

I can see that. Apparently as of midnight of that last video they had a house. In the same district closer to her friends. I still don't get she's on punishment but at a friends house with her phone kind of punishment.

I hate to say it but Heather and Mark have allowed Ellie to get away with this behavior her entire 13 years of life and are just now trying to correct it. Then wondering why Ellie doesn't get it. They can fix it. But allowing her to have friends over or go to their house, have her phone, and not correct her every single time she talks to them the way she does won't fix it.

Also, why isn't Mark stepping in and doing anything? I swear he has no backbone. None.

I wonder if they are as anxious as I am today, about the hurricane.. I am mostly afraid of any storm surge that we might get. We haven't gotten any yet with all our hurricanes.. but, you just never know! The way they talk about them on the news has me so on edge. I saw they put up their shutters and drained their pool.. and they said they are staying put.. we are too. From the looks of it, it could hit either of us, or fall right between. Either way, I fear I am going to be without power for a few days or longer.. usually am with a hurricane. Not looking forward to no a/c in this heat and humidity again!
