I played mini golf with my kids last summer. The place was packed and there is a limit of 5 shots per player so as to keep the course flowing.

The group in front of me had about 8 people in it, 2 female adults and 6 kids. They kept on putting until they got it in, the kids were making upwards of 20 putts each and the queue was building up behind us. I finally pointed out to one of the women that the rule of 5 putts per player was written on not only the score card, but on various signs around the park.

She let forth with a stream of the most incredibly abusive language you can imagine....in front of all those kids. I didn't want to pull a "Lucy" but I felt I had to set an example to my own kids. You don't let people do that. The manager came over to talk to them and he got an earful too. They were told to get out and not come back. The kids were howling and swearing and throwing tantrums and you could hear these women bitching all through the car park.

Point of my long winded story is.....I wouldn't have wanted to be playing putt putt behind Lora and Layton's group either. I can imagine that they wouldn't be so sickeningly sugary sweet to you if you pointed out they were actually breaking the rules.

Not into hair and makeup? This from a girl who puts makeup on to go to the gym and couldn't leave her hair alone. Lol.

What was with the weird camera cuts and close ups? Layton looks like an idiot, "It's true......" Their little girl will have at least 2 older brothers? Wut????

The problem I have with the whole adoption process in America is that there are dipshits like this who think that adoption is so cool and trendy so they wanna do it too.

Some little 15 year old bint will be encouraged to get pregnant so that her daughter will be adopted by Lora. A little bit of Lora's sunshine might shine on her. 15 minutes of frigging fame.

We don't encourage adoption in this country. I know I've crapped on about that a lot. But the side effect of not encouraging adoption is that we don't have anywhere near the number of unwanted teen pregnancies. Granted we have a much smaller population but on a per capita basis, we are still way behind the stats from the US. A girl here has two options ; to either keep her baby or terminate the pregnancy. It makes it a lot more clear cut when it comes to having safe sex.

And it is illegal here to choose the sex of your baby. You're not allowed to do it with IVF (unless you have a prevalent genetic disorder relating to a certain sex) and you certainly wouldn't be able to do it with adoption.

Sorry for going on. That video made me really mad. They are two of the shallowest, most pathetic people I've ever seen.

They want a girl. So they'll reject a boy who needs a home? Who is this adoption benefitting? Them or
the baby?

Layton is her minion. Yeah, he saw something on tv and thought "we ahould adopt!" Now they want a girl? Lora is just terrified of a pregnancy that conceives another boy. Like jpsuess. That bitch had 5 pregnancies that resulted in boys, while her devoted husband agreed to her every whim and want. (Lora, everyone?)

Prediction. She will adopt once, possibly, and have one more biologically.

I have 0 against adoption but this really is out of the blue for them. She said she NEVER wanted a girl. Whether that was to cover her disappointment that she had 3 boys, if they do adopt a girl , I'm sure she'll love seeing those videos. Plus, adopting just to guarantee you have a girl? I get gender disappointment to an extent. This is crazy.

Normally I don't have problems with Lora but this video irked me. I don't see them following through. I think it's a ploy for more views.

I can understand realizing that limiting yourself to one gender is silly. What really bothered me is when she compared kids waiting to be placed to "puppies in a pound." It's great that they're open to older children, but someone who would use those words is maybe not someone who is sensitive or mature enough to take on the emotionally challenging world of adoption.

And not only did she say that she was against having a girl multiple times, she also stated that she was scared to raise a girl, and has mentioned at least once in the past that she didn't want anyone 'competing with her' in the house for most beautiful, princess, etc. Does she think that adoption agencies and future biologicai parents won't find out about all of her crazy through her interviews and these videos? I mean, they aren't that hard to track down online and you can see everything that she has done for the last 5-6 years, all documented out clearly for you. Yes, they would probably give a child a loving home. But no, they are not the ideal family because they seem to be into the most recent fads and adopting an older child from a foster situation isn't usually rainbows and unicorns like she wants to pretend that her family will be. That will come with years of therapy, fights, etc and I don't personally think that they are up to it. I think that she is saying that she doesn't want a baby, but I think that she probably does and agree with whoever said it earlier - at least one more biological child before/after this adoption.

I thought that was insensitive also. I don't think children who are taken away or given up by their parents want to be compared to puppies at the shelter. And would they really be willing to take on a child with a troubled past? What would they do if the child has behavioral problems? Also, calling Declan a "PIMP master" was a little off putting.

I think this is not only for more money since obviously Layton isn't working. But to hide that she really wants a girl and is scared if she "gets fat" again she'll end up with another boy.

I don't get how she expects people to believe she actually owns that house. Layton NEVER works ....she has YouTube I'm pretty sure no bank would give her a loan to buy a house if they did it would take a hell of a lot longer to actually get one because of their situation.

My brother is a lawyer , his wife a nurse it took them 3 months to get approval for a loan another 6 months to pick the right house and another 5 months to actually move into said house.

Yeah I don't know about this adoption thing. I can't stand her so I didn't watch the video, but it may be a ploy to get more views/make money. I could see them doing a whole fake adoption series and then it doesn't work out in the end, fake drama and tears, etc.

Im sorry but this video pissed me off. Lora was talking as if she was picking a dish off of a menu at a restaurant. ""We should adopt?" and I was like WAHHHHT?!!", "Ok, I want a girl"..so lightweight, so not grasping how hard and serious adoption is. I hate how jokingly they were about this adoption "stuff" when there is thousands of couples in America who havent had the opportunity to have 3 healthy kids let alone adopt. How dare Lora be picky and only want a girl but then say she has fears about raising a daughter. How dare Layton just sit there like a toad on a rock and be so unconvincing of his plans to permanently take care of some ones child. Are they really going to go to an agency and be like "Ok so Youtube is my job, we may or may not own our home and we want an white american baby girl."

I watched a few of a ytbers adoption vlogs(i think she was a friend of Lucy & Jeni) and the adoption process was so hard on her and to see the contrast of Lora & Laytons lightheartedness and "No big deal" demeanor is just so disgusting. Lora looked so manic/crazy and Layton seem stoned and dirty I wouldnt even want them to adopt my cat. I usually do not comment on YT videos(i save it for GG) but I was SO tempted to comment on that video and cuss her ass out

Of course they want another kid. More gifts, more attention, more views, more $$$$$. Someone has to support that family. The fact that they will only adopt a girl is tacky and disgusting.

I didn't watch the whole thing because I was so annoyed at how overly peppy Lora was acting. Anyway, Have they even started the process? If not, I'm not even going to get upset over this. As I said before, adoption is a hard, long process. It is not easy and it is not a happy affair. I know a few people who adopted and their journeys were full of heartbreak...many almost gave up. I knew one that tried to adopt a newborn and a month before the birth, the mother changed her mind. I know several others who had failed adoption or had to fight like hell for their kid. I know someone who adopted internationally and it took 2 YEARS from start to finish and the girl she adopted has special needs (AIDS). Are they adopting privately? The wait for that in itself can take years. If they are gender and race specific, it can take even longer than normal. If they adopt from foster care, expect a lot of heartbreak and heart ache as you fall for kids and have to watch the state try to get them back with their druggy parents. If you adopt an older child (older than a year) the child WILL have some emotional issues...just think how the state dicks around with tayler...now just think how they dont think what she does is enough to take the kids. So the kids the state DOES take out have been in extremely bad environments with lasting scars.

I hear even the interview and acceptance process is long and daunting. They will learn soon enough that it is all puppies and roses. Watch her give up and decide to just pop one out instead.

It did very much disturb me how much she said she never wanted a girl and only wanted boys SEVERAL TIMES in her adoption announcement video. She practically said the only reason she wants to adopt a girl is because her kids want one. Yeah what a great reason. I pray if they do adopt a girl that she never sees that video and sees how much her mother DIDNT truly want her. Such an idiot...her boys are not going to be the ones raising the girl. If she doesnt like girls then why the hell is she going to adopt one and potentially have resentment for her? My son asks for a brother but you dont see me popping one out to please him because i am not equipt to deal with a third. There is a point where you need to draw the line with giving your kids what they want. Giving them a human being because THEY want one is absurd...you cant fuck with someone's life like that or treat them like some sort of gift.
