DailyGrumps Part 20
Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
According to Socialblade, the bums make between 3.8k and 60.9k a month
http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/dailybumps
And if this site is at all accurate with how many subscribers they're getting daily... Bryan needs to chill.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
I turned on the vlog because my husband is watching something boring on tv.
Before I got the headphones plugged in, Bryan said something about their grocery order coming in. My husband, who doesn't watch, just occasionally overhears, heard that part and asked "Grocery order?"
I said "Yeah, they order their groceries now" He said "And delivered?" I nodded yes.
He said "So they don't even leave the house to do that anymore? How lazy can they get? HOW DO YOU EVEN WATCH THEM ANYMORE?!"
I really wish I could answer that lol

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
I've heard from a couple YTers and read before that Social Blade is usually far too high in their estimates. I say maybe they are making 100K-200k, which isn't that much money if you figure they are spending it as fast as it comes in, and are about to incur a new vehicle payment, a new family member and probably a home too.OhHiImSam wrote:According to Socialblade, the bums make between 3.8k and 60.9k a month

This is probably why Bryan is ways hustling to find he next big thing. They get in debt, make extra money to help pay it off, but then end up buying more stuff.

He did say in the video when missy was texting him but doing the opposite of what he said the she asked which card should she use and Bryan told her and she used a different one.... Maybe credit cards perhaps?HelloSweetie1 wrote:I've heard from a couple YTers and read before that Social Blade is usually far too high in their estimates. Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
They definitely don't seem like they know a lot about money. I doubt they have the cards solely to build credit and pay them off every month. My guess is they live on credit, and always figure they're fine because "next year we'll have way more money".JoesWife1 wrote:He did say in the video when missy was texting him but doing the opposite of what he said the she asked which card should she use and Bryan told her and she used a different one.... Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Has the option to send them money directly through youtube always been on their channel? I first noticed the option to support a few weeks ago when I was looking at the Nive Nulls channel. I remember looking at all of the channels I subscribe to because I was curious to see how many other vloggers accept money from directly from the viewers. I only saw one other channel with the option at the time, but now I see it on Bryan and Missy's channel. Has it always been there? The channel has to meet certain requirements before Youtube will give it the option to take contributions directly from the viewers. When the channel meets those requirements, they have to ask for the option to be added. It's not something Youtube does automatically. I think it would be gross if they just recently started taking donations from the viewers.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
I'm not from the U.S. but is it normal for Americans to eat out a lot? I had a friend in university from Tennessee and she said her mom only cooked once a week and the rest of the week, they'd eat out at various places. Some higher end, seldom low end (never really a fast food place) but usually mid-upper range ($40-$50 a plate). Granted her mom was a dentist and father a lawyer so they could afford it but is this normal? To eat out a lot? You Tubers seem to eat out at least a couple times a week from what I see

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Fairly normal. There's still a lot of people who eat primarily at home but most people that I know eat out at LEAST 1-3 times per week. I don't think I know of anyone who eats out twice a day, every day, like B & M.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
It is very normal. I'm a university student in Los Angeles and I eat out about five times a week, if not more. I try my best to eat higher-end "fast food" so lots of chipotle and stuff like that. Unlike M&B, I only eat one (big) meal a day and lots of healthy snacks the rest of the time so eating out with my diet is much cheaper than buying a bunch of ingredients and having half of them go bad since I'm only feeding myself (not to mention I SUCK at cooking).PrincessConsuela wrote:I'm not from the U.S. but is it normal for Americans to eat out a lot? Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
I agree that's it's normal. I eat out maybe twice a week, but I work from home. If I were getting up everyday to go to work, I would be eating out more. Since I'm at home most of the day, it's easier to eat at home. I don't do a ton of cooking. I usually opt for things that are easy. A bag of sriracha popcorn and bottle of wine counts as a well balanced meal in my eyes.

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Back when i lived with my mom I had 1 Burger king meal a year. NO fast food. Then again she was a single mom of 4 trying to make it. I was so healthy back then. Now we do eat out at least once a week. Have cut down though when i was a newly wed before children we ate out ALOT.
Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
My partner and I only eat out once a month or so... He eats lunch on base every day and I'll eat at the college cafeteria once or twice a week, haha. But other than that, most of our food is home cooked.

( New girl here )
Hi, first things first, you guys are hysterical
Second I was wondering if we could go back to the whole Cambodia fundraiser and trip. I strongly believe that they had definitely planned that part of this money would go toward Bryan's travel expenses. Plus, when I watched the first Cambodia vlog I realized just how unknowledgable Bryan was about other cultures ! Seriously he goes to another continent and doesn't exchange money beforehand, doesn't do a quick Wikipedia search to find out about the culture and what to expect, and then makes videos taking about that part and that part of the country's history as if he is some kind of a Cambodia expert !

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
My husband use to be this way after our first and it look 5 years and him having to delivery our second son bc we didn't make it to the hospital in time and I was bleeding so bad I needed a blood transfusion and had to stay in the hospital for days and him having to take care of his oldest on his own while I was in there before he changed. Honestly it's horrible and i was just like you never nagging just dealing with it quietly. I hope your hubby changes sooner rather than later.

Dang! I really hope it doesn't take me almost dying, for him to make some responsible changes! I'm so sorry you went through all of that. Glad you made it through!

Re: DailyGrumps Part 20
Through the GFM, the money went straight to the charity HOWEVER I wouldn't be shocked if the charity paid for the trip and "hired" Bryan to come shoot some footage for them.

I don't remember hearing it (I kinda go in an out on dailybumps lol) but did they really say they need a new stroller? If they're talking about a double, they do know they have like 5 other strollers? And they're always together? Why can't they just each push one?? Good god these people, I just can't.

We only allow ourselves to go out once a week. But my parents go out probably 3 times a week.

Yeah they really don't need another one because correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they just buy one when they were visiting E&J? I mean it honestly shows that the spending and eating out habits have spiralled out of control, no wonder Bryan's "writing" more music.. You know he at least got a couple grand from that gig.
