Did you see those throwback pictures she posted on Instagram? I cannot believe that's her! She looks so much healthier (?), I don't know how to describe it but she looks very different.

The ones where she's modeling for Sexy Modest? She actually looks healthy, comfortable, and normal there. I think that's around the time when she met her husband and went through the forced weight loss just to marry him.

she literally said in a story that she makes decent money but it doesn’t cover all of her expenses yet explains that it pays for clothes and date nights. i’m not from the us but isn’t it against the rules considering they’re not doing everything they can to afford food? i don’t know why she would post about it anyway, most people are HUMILIATED about getting handouts. so when she posts about new clothes and getting food stamps she should expect hate. she is taking that help from people that need it and are near homeless. maybe it would help if she had a real job, but she’d need a real degree for that, not marriage studythis girl is maniacal

Here is from the state webpage, in one video she said she was on WIC, she might be on normal food stamps now, I think a big part of not working comes from wanting to fulfill this 'perfect wife' role for CJ

I’ve been waiting forever to post something about her. Her husband seems awful, she has mentioned MANY times that he “chooses” to spend extra time at school with friends or play video games rather than do things as a family. Also she mentioned in her marriage video that she took down that she wishes they had sex more often but he was always “too busy” or “too tired”. Seems like he always comes first and doesn’t really care about her needs. Them being on food stamps I think is kind of ridiculous, she could definitely work a “real job” doing night shift or picking up a few dinner shifts a week as a waitress. It really irks me that she complains about not having money ALL the time, yet she just took a 10 day trip to California, is always buying new clothes and makeup, and hair extensions and all sorts of beauty treatments. Meanwhile my husband and I both work two jobs and we can’t afford ANY of that stuff that she’s constantly blowing money on. Must be nice

Also, has anyone noticed how she’s constantly putting herself down/trying to defend herself? Like in the video she just uploaded in the description she said something like “here’s what I do, but I don’t have a good body, so why would anyone take advice from me?” She says stuff like this ALL the time, and it really makes me believe her husband is verbally/emotionally abusive

Yeah, she could DEFINITELY get a job doing something— especially since she has her bachelor's degree. Even a part-time job. Like someone mentioned above, I think she's trying to portray that perfect "Mormon stay-at-home mom" image, as she stated many times that she'll never EVER have a real job. Kind of irresponsible considering they're $100K in debt and she wants FOUR more children...

She has polls up on IG stories about when to take a pregnancy test. So either she's looking for attention, or we will get OMG! SO BLESSED TO BE PREGNANT. or OMG! FERTILITY STRUGGLE IS SO REAL &HARD.

Oh boy, Mrs. Everts is a real treat. I don't agree with 90% of Haleigh's beliefs (especially her anti-vax stance, the fact that she takes her unvaccinated child on airplanes makes me squirm. I'd hate to see her beautiful baby get sick from a PREVENTABLE disease), but watching her videos and IG feed I see an extremely self conscious woman that never had the opportunity to figure out who she truly is, and thus feels the need to share her life to gain validation through strangers. I doubt that the life that she's living now is the life that she envisioned for herself at BYU. She posts videos complaining about being a stay at home mom, her husband, and her financial status, but immediately posts a defense of her life when anybody expresses mild criticism. I also doubt that her husband is as wonderful as she claims on all of her "defense" videos. I don't know him, but her intense defending of his character is incredibly suspect, especially when she expresses numerous complaints. I wonder how he "hurt her" so quickly in their marriage: Porn? Liking another girl's instagram post? Infidelity? Whatever it was, it sounds like it has taken a massive toll on their marriage and caused resentment on both sides. In the end, maybe Haleigh will always have complaints about her life (like we all do). But it also seems that she's more interested in portraying the perfect LDS wife rather than engaging in self improvement and fixing her unhealthy marriage.

She brags about her husband being so "hardworking," yet all he does is go to school— he doesn't even have a job! Seems like she's just praising him because if he becomes a chiropractor (no guarantee that he will), she won't ever have to lift a finger in the real world and get a job to provide for all the kids she wants, makeup she buys, and home she wants to purchase.

I think it was mentioned before that it was cheating or pornography. Yup, she ALWAYS brings that up whenever talking about her husband ("Oh, he did something that really hurt me") and doesn't seem to be taking her advice of forgiveness.
