I think missy was misinformed about the Silkie eggs. Lol her "silkie" has a naked neck. It is a showgirl which is a naked necked silkie, they are not for everyone.


Other than that it was a cute vlog. I miss having chickens and can't wait to live in an area where I could have them again.

Both boys were adorable in this vlog though. Ollie seemed genuinely excited about the chicks.

I know. It's sickening. Crying over chicks being hatched, when she can't even summon up any emotion except aggravation over her own children. I have never seen her cry over her kids or their accomplishments.
Bryan may have made fun of her, but he fed into it too, buying her that card, and referring to the chicks as her "baby girls".

Didn't they have a rooster and get rid of it? Did I imagine that? If not, clearly that wasn't bc of breeding, since they ended up getting fertilized eggs anyway...

This vlog had me rolling my eyes so hard. The dramatic "follow our chicken pregnancy" intro, Missy crying, Bryan's running theatrical commentary (BAAAABE. Look at that. It's a **GOLD** one!....It's BEAUTIFUL!....Oooh my GOSH! ), the baby girl card, the pretzel montage (the did look delicious, though!)...they are so over the top. Lol. The chicks got a better birth vlog than their own kids!

I think you're spot on. Bryan was even calling them her "girls". Please. They don't even know for sure that they're girls. They might grow up to be roosters. But yes, she's determined to have a girl one way or another.
And I really think Bryan needs a thesaurus and a dictionary. He definitely can't use "confession" appropriately. "Announcement" maybe? He generally can't use "humble" right either.

They got rid of the rooster because it was attacking the kids and them and because they didn't want fertilized eggs. I don't understand why that's an issue.

Also I though Bryan giving her the card was hilarious. They both know she'll never have a girl so it was a joke.

Ollie was super surprisingly sweet and gentle with the chicks!
