I did not watch their vlog on mental health, just bc i can't imagine taking advise like that from these morons, but does anyone else think they are trying to ride on Cullen and Katie's coattails with the recent struggles that Cullen has confessed too? It just seemed a little strange that Cullen confesses he is deep into his battle with depression and then these idiots start talking about mental health...

I call BS on that entire article. I think people that are empathetic are more likely to have anxiety AND also just happen to be easier prey for Narcissists. I don’t think childhood abuse is the cause. Maybe it can be a cause, but it’s not the only one. Personality is a big factor.

I've watched the "Hey macarena" video several times over the years and it always gives me an eerie feeling ... something about the future already being predetermined in that family's life. Maybe this would be true for all of us if we had massive amounts of videos of our own childhood and current life. I don't know. Ellie looks just like Calvin which means there is hope for Calvin looking a little more "normal" when he's older. But her behavior is A LOT like Ruby's Russel. Does anyone else see it? Pushing and shoving to be at the center of attention, talking over everyone even though they have nothing to say... demanding food at the table and just generally being horrible. Finally Julie. Julie was not a pretty child, at all- but she looks great as an adult.

It bothers me that they are copying C&K. Cullen and Katie are depressed, so is Ellie. Cullen and Katie haven't been feeling like themselves, so is Ellie...

Ellie has always been like this. Follow her on Twitter and if anyone mentions an illness she’s pretty much guaranteed to diagnose herself (or her children) with it in the next few days. This is why I doubt the legitimacy of her struggles. Not because her life seems perfect, but because she’s always borrowing people’s stories for attention.

Remember when she had of the beat day after Aunt Sonia died but then 2 vlogs later she was suddenly grief stricken? This was totally because she watched her siblings’ vlogs and saw the sympathy they were getting and didn’t want to be left out. There are way more examples of this, but I know I’m preaching to the choir here. Anyone that hasn’t seen this pattern with Ellie probably hasn’t been watching for as long.

That said, I completely do believe she is mentally ill. It’s pretty hard to deny her dysfunctional relationship with food, and her Narcissistic nature.

Exactly what I thought! And we can see how much she enjoys the fact that she gets half of the video to talk about herself instead of just a scene or two that are shoved in the vlog. Her body language screams "ME ME ME ME!"

It would be cute if Calvin was able to say it as well. All he could muster was “Wa hea!” What is it going to take for them to realize that child is significantly behind. Hell I think Ollie was talking better than Calvin is now.. isn’t he going on 3?? He’s not even comparable to an 18 month old at this point.
