There are people who are seriously scared of dogs, and would not hesitate to injure or kill a loose dog, even if she wasn’t aggressive.

I thought they were supposed to be getting a fence?

And isn't it a little chilly to have Brooks outside barefoot with no pants on? Especially with Gaines sick.
They shouldn't let the dog on the golf course. Period. Is Cullen out there picking up her poop? They treat that golf course like it's an extension of their backyard. And that's not right. It is rude and entitled.
I am not surprised.

girl it's been 80+ for the past week. It blows. LOL He's fine with no pants, and he did have on shoes.
I didn't see Ada on the green. I saw her at the edge of the yard on "their side" of the golf cart track. Not saying the dogs DONT go out there, but she wasn't on the green when Brooks was calling her.
Ok, I didn't know it's been that warm. I checked on the web, and it said it was in the 60's in Birmingham, so I was going off of that.
I stand by my statement that the dogs shouldn't be on the golf course. Period. If the HOA won't let them put up a fence, they can do an electric fence.
And perhaps they _have_ gotten a warning. They wouldn't be likely to mention it. Especially since they still take the dogs on the course.

Yeah it was IG story after the ones with Brooks in the yard.

Yeah i just went back and watched, looks like she was being a punk and ran away from him. Sorry, i didn't realize there was more to the "story". They need a fence.

I just don’t understand the entitlement mindset. I would never in a million years allow my animals to be at large. Safety aside, it’s inconsiderate. Same with their behaviour at restaurants. I’ve seen so many people let their children stand on chairs, run around, disturb other diners, and are just all around loud and obnoxious.
Why? What on earth goes through the mind of a person who has no consideration for other people? I would be mortified. Do they not HEAR their child singing at the top of their lungs? Do they lack the mental faculties to understand that a running child is a tripping hazard? Do they earnestly believe that there is NOTHING wrong with that behaviour?
That mindset is so far removed from my own that my only conclusion is that parents that allow that are either deliberately impolite or flat out stupid. You’d have to be completely devoid of decency or intellect to not even see that allowing your kids and animals to be a nuisance to other people is unequivocally wrong.

Can you imagine doling out the money for a membership in a nice country club, making an appointment for a tee time and any other fees that might go along with it, and getting to a green to find a strange dog running across it, and some asshole filming it instead of actually putting effort into getting her off the green? Or (I'm assuming) stepping in her poop? Or finding small children and Cullen and Jay running around like it's their playground?
And the restaurant behavior is just horrific. I can guarantee they've never waited tables. And if a server tripped over Gaines and dropped a sizzling fajita platter or something else hot on her and burned her, they would blame the server.
I don't understand their behavior either. It's rude and insensitive. I wonder if some of it comes from the adulation in the vlog comments. They can do no wrong. If you imply they aren't perfect, you get crucified and told how rude _you_ are. A few years of that could go to anyone's head!

Now they’re just trolling us. Another IG story with the whole family and Ada on the golf course. I hope the club calls the cops on them. Or get in trouble by the HOA.

I think they have been trolling a lot in the past few weeks! I think the “date night” thumbnail was a troll for us saying that they have had A LOT of date nights recently.

Seriously! My daughter asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told her I didn't need anything. Same with Christmas. I haven't made a Christmas list since I was little.
I guess we should be like Ellie and have a birthday month, and be like these guys and make birthday lists.

HelloSweetie wrote:But Katie wasn’t “freaking out” about the fever. She was so concerned she felt the need to document it? Right....

The Katie as an overprotective mom bubble was burst for many of us around the time she left Gaines SLEEPING in the car so she could enjoy her dinner. Katie is all about Katie’s convenience, and not about what is best for her children at all.

I just don’t see what others do about her I guess, hence the side eye for keeping her sick child up. I think she believes that an early bedtime will interfere with Katie’s ability to sleep in.

I didn’t know about that. Granted I don’t watch them, just check in every now and then. I was pregnant with my first when she was pregnant with Gaines. I was just thinking maybe there’s something about fevers that makes her give the kids a fever reducer as soon as they have one. Who knows.

Or a severe sense of entitlement that the servers, other diners and golf club members are beneath them. It may be coming from a place of snobbery (which I'm sure Katie prides herself on) but it just makes them look like white trash.

C&K: The 'D' Word. Part #17

They really need to get that paci out of Brooks’ mouth. A pet peeve of mine is when toddlers are walking around and talking behind a pacifier. If they still need it for naps and bed, then that’s where it should stay.

My husband's family does. Since I've been with him I've made one too for them. Christmas list as well. So I can't cast shade at them for that. No one has to stick to the list, but it helps with stocking suffers or if you really don't know what people want/need. We are all adults with full houses and disposable incomes to buy what we want so sometimes its hard to know what to buy someone for a gift. I'd rather not do gifts at all, but I'm outvoted so gift list it is.

My husband and I make birthday lists. If we don’t then we are harassed by our families until we do. It does make it easier to shop for someone if you know what they actually want.

On the other hand, it does feel a little awkward asking for gifts when we could just buy them ourselves. I’m pretty sure we will stop doing it with my siblings and their spouses soon. We’ll still buy for our parents and nieces and nephews, just not each other.

I let my daughter have hers way too long. I finally got her to trade it for a Barbie. My son lost his and didn't want a new one. So that was that. He was younger than Brooks. But they can't really complain about him not talking if he always has the binky in his mouth. When did they start making Gaines leave hers in the bed?
