So I see the two girls at dinner are burnt but what the hell, mumma isn't so who cares.

I know the girls were tired but what is with carrying them all the time. They are 4 years olds FFS.

And all the talk on IG about how they are not developmentally delayed, honestly, T&A need to watch the videos back, none of the girls can hold a conversation or even answer basic questions. I notice when they do answer sometimes that T or A will translate because you can't understand them. Or they will answer the question themselves. And Scarlet's stutter is getting worse. I don't understand why no-one has picked this up. I wonder why they won't acknowledge their issues instead of wanting the best for the girls. I guess it would take work and we know these two are allergic to that.

Which brings me to another issue, if they are so damn busy with their 22,157 jobs, what's happening to them while they've been away all this time? Most people who are self employed can't just take weeks off at a time so I guess we know the answer. Between Oakland and Amandah, they do the work anyway. Now someone else edits the vlogs and the only thing missing is the princess doing her one hour makeup video each day. What a pair of cons they are.
Do they still go to pre-school?
I imagine something will come up when they are in real school, with milestones to meet. One of our son’s is speech delayed. He’s about 6-8 months behind his peers. It doesn’t sound like a big deal but the older kids get, the more it’s noticed. He is 3. So he speaks like a 2.5 year old... with certain sounds. He spends most of his day talking, singing, etc. Anyway, I was watching the boutique video and I noticed they girls speak worse than him. I would say about a 2 year old level. They did seem to know some words good for their ages - ‘hangnail’, for example. But I notice Cashley speaks for them. Likely to keep the video rolling and for content purposes.
I think these girls could use assessments & some possible intervention.

That is my biggest annoyance with them. They don’t let them talk! They are constantly talking over them, interrupting them, or talking for them. I bet if they would just shut up and let them try it would be a little better. That is something I admire about the Chatwins. They let Gemma talk! They don’t interrupt her to say what she is trying to get out. They let her say it in her own way and then the dad just puts what she says in writing. I really like it. But that is just too much work for the Greeds. They can’t even take the time to see which twin they have much less listen to their kids and understand their speech.

This is there first day without helpers in how many days? Over a month? Madison will probably be coming over to help because they’re so overwhelmed.

Why do use baby talk with the girls for? They are going to be 5 soon n next fall they will be in kindergarten
I wonder this too. They talk to them like they are 6 month olds. But I never did baby talk. Sure my voice is soothing and kinder but baby talk doesn’t encourage talking.

I talked to my children constantly.

My eldest who has Asperger Syndrome talked in sentences since starting to talk - I know this was somewhat unusual.

My youngest child who not being boastful, is actually gifted and talented, was much slower to speak but she understood every single word you said to her. When she began to speak, she also skipped the baby talk phase.

The lack of understanding of these girls, worries me more than the poor speech. They appear to have no idea of what is being said to them, nevermind how to answer. As their parent, I would have anticipated the risk of developmental delay due to their prematurity and due to the fact they were quads. I would have been in there dealing with it before it happened!

Did you notice Dad of the Year mixed up the heavies in today’s vlog? Their hair wasn’t even done the same but he didn’t know who it was.

The very fact that the girls were premature would have made me take them all for evaluations as soon as possible.
Proactive is definitely a word these people never heard of.
They are just too self centered and lazy to follow through.

And if nothing is being said from the preschool teacher, then I wonder if it really is an accredited preschool, or just some kind of church play group.

I wonder this too. Someone I know has a child on the spectrum. They are in denial. Refuse to get their child tested despite many doctors encouraging it - all saying from their assessments the child appears to be on the spectrum. They have the child in a church school. I think they feel safe there b/c they will not push as much - especially when it’s a half day or a few days a week program. I don’t believe the DUHrls go everyday? So many this is why no one has said anything. Or they have and the crap parents brush it off.

He hasn't actually been a father to the girls for almost a month, with all the traveling and helpers that they had for 2 of the trips. He honestly probably forgot who was who and will need to get re-acquainted with his own daughters.

I could totally see this doctor who was cool with them coming home with a severe head wound being cool with the girls not getting help with minor delays. I mean how bad would something have to be for him to act after his reaction to the head injury?

Many states now pay for preschool for kids with delays whose parents cannot afford private preschool because it's cheaper and easier to fix delays at 2-3-4 than wait until they're 6 and have years of delays and bad habits to cover come.

As preemies - do they have annual eye and hearing exams? Kids on vents are more likely to have issues later.

My daughter has special needs. She met her earlier milestones, but didn't have the language that I knew she should have had when she was her toddler. So I SAID something to her pediatrician. We got her evaluated. Because that's what parents who care more about what their kids need than their own egos, or sleeping in, or anything like that do. I am NOT a perfect parent. I had my lazy days. But I got my daughter what she needed. Still do. Because I know I won't be here forever, and I want her to have every advantage she can over her syndrome.
These two care more about how things _look_ than what their daughters need. This perfect happy family image is more important to them than getting those girls evaluated and treated. And the ironic thing is, that getting them evaluated would probably _increase_ their views.

Washington State has an incredible early intervention program. Don't know about other states.

I'm not sure what type of preschool the girls attend, but due to the fact that they held parent/teacher conferences, they are probably more than a half day playgroup. Now according to Ashley (I don't think Tyson attended), the girls were on track, blah blah blah. But I also remember she was a bit emotional & looked like she had been crying, so I think Mrs. Frost was upfront & real about any issues and concerns. They may or may not do assessments, but a seasoned preschool teacher can spot issues almost from the start. I always thought that was why Tyson didn't attend, because I truly doubt he could control his anger if he heard any negative or concerning information about his kids. And also why Mrs. Frost hasn't done more to help the girls (like turning them in to CPS, as she is a mandated reporter). I wonder if she, along with their doctor (Mumford) is a Mormon. I saw on his website that he attended the main Mormon university (Brigham I think), at least for his undergrad degree. So they could both be a part of the Utah bubble & only blow smoke up the Gardner's collective fat asses.

Someone mentioned the girls starting kindergarten in the fall. I don't think they can since they won't turn 5 years old until December, which is probably past the cutoff date. So if that's the case, at least they have another year to catch up & hopefully get the therapies they need to succeed. At this point though, unless there is some serious intervention, Dumb & Dumber will probably "homeschool". :?

I did think in one of the Vlogs the other day that the conversation between Indie and I think Scarlett where they were talking about getting in the small pool was very sweet. I did think they’re actual little adults who can have a proper little conversation.

You are correct they won’t begin school until the following fall because they have to be 5 on or before September 1st for kindergarten.

Their teacher could have expressed concern, and it was ignored. One thing that will benefit them is because their birthday is in December, they won't start kindergarten until they are almost 6 years old. Usually, premature babies are followed up developmentally after discharge from the hospital. They have never shown any evaluations or proper assessments, certainly not by their pediatrician. They have also never addressed Scarlett's stuttering--other than to laugh at it.

There is such a lack of effort on A$$ley and Tylard's parts in so many ways. No individual time with their children, no teaching of proper pronunciation, manners, sharing, etc. Think of how nice it would be instead of always having so many date nights out together, they picked a night or day each week to spend time with just one of the girls giving each their undivided attention without cameras. It might help them to discover each child as an individual with her own personality traits, likes or dislikes and this also benefit them by helping each girl to establish a more intimate relationship with them as well.

I've never seen such lazy people constantly spew how hard working they are. The only thing I see them work hard at is picking out a restaurant or fast food place to eat, or what to buy at Costco, or lie feeds with teenaged followers, or spending an hour troweling on makeup. What a life--such important work for such self-important people.

Kids younger than them have actual conversations. It’s normal. They won’t talk like adults because they aren’t adults but they should talk like kids with conversation back and forth.

This being said I don’t think the quads all have the same issues or delays. I think at least 2 have speech delay & I think 2 have physical or motor skill delay. My child was a preemie and in the NICU & I absolutely expected something. Good parents observe & head it off at the pass. But it’s hard to see when you aren’t there.

Right now, the girls go to preschool 2 days per week for only 2 hours a day. That's only 4 hours total. How much can be taught and retained in 4 hours split up evenly? I guess quite a bit however, it's not enough for children who need extra help in certain areas of development. If mrs frost hasn't suggested intervention for the girls, it could be that she isn't with them long enough? Idk, that's just my guess. But who knows.

Depending on Utah law the girls might not have to legally be in school for another few years and since most states have very easy homeschool laws it won't be hard for them to claim alternative schooling while not teaching the kids much of anything.
