ChocolateChip wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 11:07 am I don't follow them regularly but I'm curious about their equation with Bryan and Missy Lanning. Can someone briefly explain how they knew each other and then how they had a fallout? I remember they were so close when Juniper was born.
I don't think Instagram itself pays them. I think they're trying to attract more companies to do sponsorships/paid ads with. Their engagement on YT is much lower than IG at this point.minniemouse99 wrote:I’ve noticed they post their vlogs on insta day prior posting it on YouTube. How exactly does Instagram work? Per views? Per followers???
I have a family friend who’s makes a living off of Instagram-he has over 300k followers. And posts just about every single day. Different companies have home advertise all sorts of crap lol
He said he makes an average of $1,500 a month.
Granted, he’s single. So aside form his full time job it’s a secondary income. Win win.
But I can’t imagine feeding a family of FOUR and paying mortgage!!?
Any instagram pros on here can explain the concept for me
Her degree is actually anthropology. Also not exactly a great degree for career opportunities. From what they've explained, it seems she went to art school for a semester in San Francisco then moved in with Corbin in SoCal (where he was in college) and then she didn't go back to college until they moved to Southern Oregon. I wonder what she did while Corbin was in college?? Did she work?? They've never been clear about that time of their life.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 6:33 am Didn't she study art? Real marketable major. Not slamming education for education's sake. Or being an art major if you're actually talented. My best friend from high school majored in graphic design, and has been a successful free-lancer. But she's not only talented, she's imaginative; something Kelsey definitely isn't. I can't speak to her talent, but the things I have seen her "do" haven't been very inspired.

Thank you! My niece majored in anthropology, but she is driven and got her master's, and works at the Smithsonian and already bought a condo of her own in Alexandria, Virginia, which isn't cheap.rosie_dalia wrote:Her degree is actually anthropology. And, yes, Bryan was also a student at the same high school, but it's pretty obvious he and Corbin weren't that close back then. Missy and Kelsey were best friends, but Bryan and Corbin's "friendship" always seemed forced.
Their ambition definitely lacks. It shows.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 11:15 amThank you! These two amaze me with their lack of ambition.

I don’t personally do it, but in a college marketing class we watched interviews with a guy who managed Influencers. He said the general rule of thumb is for every 100,000 flavors, they would be paid $1000 for a post.minniemouse99 wrote:I’ve noticed they post their vlogs on insta day prior posting it on YouTube.
