The cloud pancakes (Dutch pancakes/German pancakes, whatever they’re really called) are actually really good! I’ve made them based off their recipe. Definitely a winner.Dolphin wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2019 1:17 pmI remember a video where they went to Top Golf I think it was called. They had to wait to be let in and while waiting, Branden talked about taking the drone up. Ryler begged him not to and Branden admitted it was probably illegal. Yet he did it anyway.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 7:30 am They are absolutely just an act. Just look at the way he acted about the drone on the cruise. He knew he was breaking the rules and he didn't care. All the whining about the lot next door getting bought, accepting super chats when they know they don't need the money, and I am pretty sure they broke other rules on the cruise. Petting the manatee was against the law. But they are SPECIAL. The usual rules don't apply.

In today's vlog, the paper plates and plastic cups appear again. Why do they use those? The dishwasher is right there! I don't get it.
People bought insane amounts of merch it seems. In my opinion there are too many merch plugs in the vlogs. If people want to buy the merch, they will. Those constant reminders are too much!
Snow is forecast for tonight. I hope it actually does snow.
Utah really is beautiful.
Has anyone tried the Cloud Pancakes? I want to give them a go, they look delicious.
Ryler didn't accompany Branden and the other kids when they went sledding. I feel he was either grounded and they didn't want to mention it or he wanted to hang out with friends and Branden wasn't too happy about that. There have been a few vlogs where Ryler didn't appear for the rest of the vlog and they didn't mention him again that day.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Why do they insist on referring to moving furniture around as "major renovations"? It's NOT renovating. Redecorating, at most. God, these people need a dictionary and a thesaurus. My daughter was laughing at me because I said Mindy needs a thesaurus. She kept describing things as "beautiful". My daughter said "you say every vlogger needs a thesaurus!"
They do. Very few of them have any eloquence. Everything is "super-cute", "fun", or in Branden's case, "epic". And they all misuse "literally".
Sorry. They just make me crazy.

Ugh Trash Gardner was in the vlog for four seconds and managed to look like a total asshole. I wish the Ginghams would just cut them loose already.
And this feels weird to say but I honestly hope Branden's butt is ok, I broke my tailbone a couple of winters ago and it's no joke. At his age if it's broken he'll probably be feeling it for the next decade.

Idk why I’m trying to defend them on this, lol, but it’s possible they collected the set over time. My grandmother has the Lenox First Blessings nativity, which is like a $1,200 nativity set. But our whole family has bought her pieces for Christmas and birthdays for a few years now.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Have they shown it before? That's one way to tell if they have collected it over time.
I just don't understand how anyone can think they're so wonderful when they act as though the whole point of Christmas (and life in general) is the accumulation of as much stuff as possible. They put on an act and do a couple of charitable acts (that they film, of course) as if that makes up for the gluttony of their two rooms full of presents and a year of waste.
One of the boys knocked Hazy down in the rush to get the presents, and they just laughed and put it on Boomerang. I would have at least made them stop and apologize.
Here endeth the lecture.

Hate to defend her as well but I’m pretty sure she mentioned brandens mom gives her a pieces of the nativity over the years.
I know to each their own, but I don’t understand flocked trees. It looks so clumpy! And seems to make more of a mess than just pine needles.

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
Whether you buy it one piece at a time or all at once there’s still something incredibly weird about owning an expensive nativity scene.
The consumerism is laughable considering the whole story of Jesus and the nativity is about the opposite of money and greed.
The constant preaching of service and gratitude and everyone other keyword their church gives them to use doesn’t cover up the fact it’s all about money and looks for them.

They're dinner in today's vlog had to cost around $300 with gratuity, speciality drinks, and tax. More power to them, but I can't believe they go to places like this, and people still send them hundreds of dollars during lives on Sunday's.
Also, that was a ton of merch they are sending out!

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
I’m baffled at how much merch they sell. Why do people buy this shit!?! And yeah that dinner was $$$. I commend them for going out and doing nice things with their kids and teaching them life lessons. But they commercialize the shit out of the whole thing and negate the lessons they’re preaching. Hazy and Mindy’s dresses were $108. Their meal cost $175 just for the buffet price plus the website stated a 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. Plus it looks like drinks were $4 each. All to act like you are teaching your children that Jesus is the reason for Christmas. The fancy ass meal you just ate doesn’t exactly line up with the message you’re sending.draven1031 wrote:They're dinner in today's vlog had to cost around $300 with gratuity, speciality drinks, and tax. I just can't get over all the useless decorative crap that Mindy buys. Endless storage bins overflowing with ugly, overpriced tchotchkes and baubles and knickknacks and trifles and geegaws. Today she is going on about stupid bead garlands. Bead. Garlands. She paid $30 for one and is bragging about spending $36 on two bags of beads to make her own. A cost savings to be proud of! Thrifty, thrifty, thrifty that Mindy is! Bead garlands are the reason for the season. Let's invite the Christ child over to look at all our stuff!

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
I really don't understand how people don't see the hypocrisy. They blather on about "the reason for the season", meanwhile, they buy all kinds of crap to decorate, and a TON of stuff for the kids. Remember last year, she was on a "giant ornament" kick, and they went out and spent a fortune on a new tree and more stuff to put on it? Their actions and their words don't match at all. But their fans swallow the lies. How can they not see it? One day buying groceries for random people, (and filming it for a monetized vlog) doesn't make up for a year of gluttony.

So off topic but I’ve never heard the word geegaw before. It’s 3:30am and I’m losing it. "Creme Brulee and Crab Legs the Reason for the Season"?
Please. I get that he's attempting to be funny, but it just falls flat.
Did Mindy even eat either the crab legs or creme brulee?

Re: This is how we Bingham | Part 3
The TIHWB Binghams sure live in a different world these days. I like the SLC Christmas lights and the dinner looked delicious but whenever they start plugging their merch, I get quite upset. Some impressionable young minds watching their videos will beg their parents for a hoodie or hat, and considering how often they mention it, it's quite certain nobody will forget their merch. All that to make sure they eat at nice places, and sleep in 750 USD per night beds. That reminds me... better get my cents out from between my sofa cushions so I can donate next time. I wouldn't want TIHWB to go without paper plates and plastic cups. If only they had a working dishwasher... Remember the video where Mindy was so happy about their dishwasher?
If you're up for it, watch the 2017 and 2018 Christmas vlogs. Anyone watching regularly knows the kids received - and still receive - many gifts. Birthdays are more moderate but Christmas is out of this world. Anyway, I haven't seen (m)any of the toys they got since then. For example the Paw Patrol set for Brex. Maybe it's in the office / play room downstairs but all the other presents must be somewhere too. Krew got a little motorbike, I never saw that again.
Personally I'm not a fan of the oversized ornaments and I'd be worried about Lazzie eating the fake snow.
