Ok, I'm aware that their house is massive and that it might seem smaller without walls etc, but doesn't that kitchen/living room area seem kinda small? I know it is still a big area, but in the scope of massive McMansion and "look at our rad super expensive house", is it just me or does it seem cramped? Like, the movie theatre almost looks bigger than the kitchen lol
And when Mindy was talking about the placement of the couch, it seemed so close to the kitchen. But then again, where I live we don't really have the whole open kitchen thing so it can just be me not picturing the dimensions correctly

I don't know the fancy words but there are many home types, one plan idea is that the community rooms are the biggest because that's where everyone spends the most time, another style values that the bedrooms are the biggest so everyone has their own space.. I imagine there value is the big bedrooms over community place for the most part.

Those kids get along because they do have to share a giant cinema screen and tv, but I think that's only because they have so many other options, they can play switch, tablets, phones for some of them... if they were a one tv, one console 2 controller and no other devices family I know there would be hell to pay

True! I just find it interesting how they talk about the living room and kitchen as the heart of the home and the places where they'll spend all day all together and eat and do homework etc and then make the theatre bigger than those rooms

As someone who’s worn glasses since age 3, I disagree having a backup pair of glasses is extremely helpful, when I was in hs, someone accidentally broke the lens of my glasses and since I didn’t have a backup pair, I had to go the whole day not wearing and I could not see a thing. It’s happened more than once. In my opinion they made the right choice getting 2 frames.

Poor thing needs to be put in a reading resource class and catch up to her peers.
